The hotel was located not far from the strip. It was very old. It's good for a family of 3 adults and 3 children because there was plenty of room which included 2 double sized rooms, a living room area with a pull out bed and a kitchenette. While the rooms and hallway were clean, the short hallway leading to the outside was not. This could be due to the lack of housekeeping people working now. A pizza box was left at the front door for two days. Otherwise, this is nor a bad hotel.
This hotel is very dirty and appears to not be maintained at all. The hallways and elevator had food laying on the floor. We stayed there for a Friday, Saturday, and checked out on Sunday and the food was still not cleaned up from the floors or the elevator. In addition, the rooms were in desperate need for a deep cleaning. Looks like they mainly just make the bed after the previous guest leaves.
We stayed as a family ( two couples ) and each had one bedroom suite. Everything in town was sold out, except for this Residence Inn. Our stay was very unpleasant and uncomfortable. My aunt and I went to use a hot tub in the evening and it was out of order. Front desk said that it has been out of order for a long time and that their manager will continue trying to get it fixed. My aunt asked how come their website doesn't indicate that hot tub is out of order and front desk lady laughed and said that manager will have to work on this "next" Staff we encountered were somewhat intrusive, unhelpful and very disrespectful. "Hun"and "sweet" was the standard form of addressing the guests, in place of sir or mam.
This Marriott property is not up to Marriott standards. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is showing serious signs of wear and tear. What is sad it was just remodeled a few years ago. Tonight, we were supposed to be staying for two nights. When we checked in, they gave us a room on the basement level. When we got to room 015 it smelled so bad of must and mildew that we couldn't stay in the room. I went back to front desk and they gave us another room. This time room 108. When got in the room it wasn't clean. Food crumbs on the sofa table and sofa. Dirty sock in the sofa bed mattress. Multiple hairs on the toilet seat. Some sort of powdery substance in the closet in the living room area. The pool wasn't working. It was drained and only had about a foot of dirty water in it. There was nothing on the website about the pool. The front desk clerk said it had been down for over month. There were several other guests who were mad. It's just sad because this used to be a great place to stay. The quality and affordable places to stay in Branson are getting harder to find. Sadly, the Residence Inn joins the majority.…
This Residence Inn must be one of the worst Marriott properties and we will not be staying at Marriott properties again. I understand the hotel is short on help as is common these days. The floor in the back entrance has been dirty since we arrived. They have not vacuumed the hallway the entire time we have been here (6 nights). The first morning at breakfast, the servers took their smoke break one at a time at the outside hotel entrance. So everyone who walked by had to go through tobacco smoke. We were placed in a room on the ground floor next to the elevator, which was very loud night and day. I go to the gym daily and for the first 5 days there were never any clean gym towels there and the dirty towels were not picked up. My husband said something to the staff member who setup breakfast and the dirty towels were picked up and stocked with clean towels. The breakfast on Monday morning was sparse due to them not getting a delivery of food the week before. You would think they could go to the store and buy bananas! The suite was comfortable, but in need of updating. In fact the whole hotel needs updating and cleaning!! If this is Marriott standard, then I won’t be staying at another Marriott.…
Location was great, staff fantastic. Spoke with Holly on the phone day before arrival, she was great. Keith checked us in and was working the first few days of our trip. Most all staff was polite, and up beat, and the custodial staff and maintenance all pleasant and working hard. As with all hotels the air to rooms is off until rented, I find this is all over when I travel for work. It was a triple digit day when we arrived and unloaded. Keith followed up with us in the hallway how the room was, and I mentioned the temp. We went for dinner and gave it time to cool down. He saw us again and asked how it was. We did find someone had removed a vent an stuffed a towel in it, guess they a previous guest was cold. He was so kind, all the staff we encountered were great. Chose this place as they allow pets, and great location. The front desk even gave the dogs treats at one point. Breakfast was back to hot food, and was good. Attendant the first few days was fine, the two who filled in on her days off were outstanding at keeping things refilled. I love Marriott properties, and Residence Inn is great for family we booked a suite and have plenty of space and comfort for our stay in the Branson area. We felt safe at the property, and enjoyed ourselves…
So glad we were able to get reservations at the Residence Inn for Christmas since planning last minute! We were very satisfied with the size of the room and the lay out, the cleanliness, the quietness at night and how comfortable the bed and pillows were! We knew with COVID that there wouldn’t be a breakfast buffet but that didn’t matter because we had intended to eat at our favorite breakfast spot, The Hungry Hunter! We were appreciative that our room did have a coffee maker, coffee, creamer, sugar, tea bags and even popcorn for the microwave! Also, the cleaning staff were helpful and friendly! We would definitely stay here again!
First visit to Branson and thought we'd stay in a Marriott, which we're very familiar with. Have never been disappointed at a Residence Inn until now. COVID considerations are enforced and the place was clean. The shower door wasn't engineered well as it opens into the toilet. So you must not be a large person if you want to use the shower. The room was clean, except for the bug found on the wall near the kitchen. As for breakfast, normally a good bet at RI, the juice machine was broken, Rice Krispies and a few yogurts were the only choices. We had a free-Marriott night on our account and chose to use it here, but they charged us for it, even after a discussion with the clerk about using the free-night. Over-all, an underwhelming visit. Probably won't return as this franchise didn't hold up to Marriott standards, or our standards.…
We always stay at a Marriott. This hotel was not up to Marriott standards. It was dirty in the hallways and our carpet in the room had crumbs all over. The stove top and counter also had crumbs everywhere. Extra blanket in closet had hair on it. The shower door had a big gap in it and water ran out. We used extra towel to dry and the floor was very dirty. Ran out of toilet paper first day and shower gel first day. Bright spot was the employees. Very nice and helpful.
From rags to riches stayed here back in November and joyed it decided we’d bring the whole family up for the weekend this September I realize the coronavirus but we called ahead of time and made sure they had a hot breakfast they said yes your email even said yes they have a sign on the wall that says breakfast 6 to 10 AM there was no hot breakfast only muffins and cereal The juice machine was out so it was coffee or water and they pulled their breakfast up at 9 o’clock what breakfast there was when we asked them about that they said the sign was old the pool was supposed to be open till 10 PM they close the pool at 8 o’clock when we asked them about that they told us the lights wasn’t working 15 minutes later another family went into the pool and turn the lights on their self I walked in all the lights were working so I went and told all of our kids to go swimming 20 minutes later the desk man seen everybody in the pool and run them off told them the lights wasn’t working properly. Then two hours later 1130 at night whole bunch of people in the pool having a party apparently friends of the people working there. Also with the coronavirus everybody but the front desk clerk had a mask on that work there With the exception of the morning desk clerk who didn’t have a mask on at all and all the rest of them that had a mask we’re wearing it around their chin I guess they were trying to protect her chin worst experience I’ve ever had a Marriott will never stay there again and if Marriott don’t do something to make this up to us I will never stay at Marriott again. …
