We spent 3 nights here while we explored Branson and the surrounding area. This is a solid budget choice for Branson. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful, answering questions and making recommendations. The rooms are older but everything was clean and everything worked. We were able to get a ground floor room with parking right in front of the door. It made it wonderful to move luggage. The bed was average in comfort, there is also a desk and chair. TV & WIFI both worked well. Our used towels were replaced each day and the garbage was removed. How many places do that these days?

Breakfast was good. It was nice to see a variety of fruit, pastries, cereal and breads along with biscuits, gravy, sausage and eggs. By the 3rd morning, however, I was ready for something different.

Here's my "not so good" list:

Toiletries are a dispenser on the wall. I don't like that.
Shower has a "low flow" head that is really low flow. Hard to have a good shower.
Small maintenance items - the door squeaked loudly each time we opened it.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again. The rate was reasonable and I was happy to enjoy Branson without spending a fortune on a room. Good solid choice.

The rooms are very clean and bigger than a lot of places. We had two queen beds and there was adequate space between the beds as well as on both outer sides. The beds were comfortable. There is a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. We went to breakfast around 8 and were glad we did. When we checked out at 9:30 the breakfast area was full and people were filling plates and carrying them back to their rooms. The breakfast was sausage patties, eggs, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, oranges, apples and bananas. We stayed on a Friday night and they were sold out. We will definitely return here whenever we come to Branson. Wonderful experience.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. The hotel is very well kept and clean. The room was very clean but did have dated furniture and the carpet looked up. But it was clean. The property overall was very well kept and the breakfast was very good and they were very good about making sure everything was available at breakfast. Not a ton of choices but for the price it was nice.

BUT....as mentioned in other reviews. The rooms are non-smoking and I did not smell smoke in the room but outside the rooms, smoking is permitted. There are tables and ashtrays set up at the main stairways so every time you go to your car it is like walking through a barroom. The smoke just lingers in the corridors. Everyday going down to breakfast we came back to our room smelling like a pack of Marlboro. I would stay at this property again but will probably not due to all the smoke. This may be a common problem at exterior door hotels in Branson but we had not encountered this at other properties we have stayed at.

Other than the smoke issue this is really a great place to stay!

Quaint lobby and eating area. Breakfast daily of biscuits / gravy, sausage patty, egg patty, fruit variety, and cereal. No waffles which was a bummer for my son. Breakfast was standing room only at times which is not ideal. Convenient location. The rooms had great hot water and soap / lotion dispenser and the beds were fairly comfortable. The housekeeping for the rooms was subpar. They emptied the trash and replaced towels only. Did not make beds, vacuum, or wipe anything down. Upon arrival there was a soiled hand towel hanging and later found a piece of unwrapped food in the freezer. 🤮 The freezer also does not freeze. The AC had a very noisy blower motor. There was no cover on an electrical outlet which could be dangerous. The phone in the room did not work and I had to use my cell phone to call the front office for towels. No towels provided in the pool area and to the pool itself was filthy. Clouded water with globs of hair floating. The price is very reasonable and overall, despite the negatives not a bad place to stay. Minor improvements could yield great benefits.

We try to stay here whenever we are in Branson, it is just minutes from the Tanger Outlet stores, restaurants, and theaters, and is easier to enter and exit than the Hwy 76 hotels. We like the full breakfasts and inevitably meet nice folks there. The indoor pool is very popular, and mini-golf courses are within walking distance. There’s no elevator, but rooms on first and second floors require no steps.

The Carriage House was a great choice for my family during our week in Branson.
The pros: Very clean rooms. Comfortable mattresses. Location. Indoor pool with toys available for the kids to play with (pool noodles, balls). Customer service - good advice on where to go for dinner, helpful with answering questions. Hot breakfast options included biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage patties, daily. Cold options included fruit, yogurt, bagels, cereal, and bread.
The cons: No wifi in one of the rooms - it's an old brick building and the signal just didn't reach us. Breakfast was the same options every day.

Have stayed here many times. Great location and good prices. It is a little old, but has always been clean! We were pleasantly surprised this time that they have made a few upgrades (much needed) to the rooms (i.e., new lamps, new bedspreads, new key cards etc). They have even upgraded breakfast a bit by adding hot breakfast items.

This was our first stay at the Carriage Inn. The facility is very nice. The courtesy breakfast was hot and tasty and Dee Ann took great care of the eating area. She was a sweetie. Christina in the lobby was a great hostess and made us feel welcome and right at home. She's a keeper. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. If I were making one suggestion it would be to replace the toilets with chair height ones. Otherwise, our 4-night visit was exceptional. We will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here on our first trip to Branson after reading the reviews. It is an older hotel and off the strip, but literally less than 10 minutes from nearly everything. Do not expect 5 star for the price, but this is an excellent hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and well maintained. There is also a microwave and small fridge in each room, plus a small 4 cup coffee pot. They will THOROUGHLY clean your room every day (and restock everything) if you leave the placard on the door. All staff are personable and friendly. The continental breakfast was great and filling. One thing: they offer shampoo, lotion, and bar soap in your room. So if you are used to body wash (like me), remember to bring your own. DEFINITELY worth the price. I will definitely stay here again because I WILL be back.

Very clean rooms. Small bathroom however clean and sufficient. Could hear people upstairs and although I thought the bed was hard my husband who has a bad back thought it was comfortable. The pool was great although you do have to walk outside to another building to it. Several pool noodles and beach balls there for kids to play with. Heated saltwater made it easier to swim. Child had great fun! Furniture was older but didn't matter to me rather have good value. Nice sized refrigerator in room and very small microwave. Coffee in room also. Breakfast area is small and choices include biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, and circle egg products. There was toast or bagels to make a sandwich, fruit and cold cereal. Coffee makers hard time keeping up with the crowd also. I would stay here again. Husband refuses to stay at cheap dumps.
