This hotel was conveniently located. That is the only positive thing to say. The rooms were dirty. The towels were dirty. The bed scarf had two big stains on it. The water faucet did not work correctly. The water did not stay on. The ceiling of the bathroom was stained with mold and the paint was peeling. The tub was dirty and the floor mat towel over the edge of the tub was filthy. There was a towel hanging behind the bathroom door from the previous guest. The dining room tables were not cleaned after guests ate there. We never saw a dining room attendant the entire time we were in the dining room. The doors handles were grimy. The doors had big scuff marks all over them.i would never allow my children to stay in such a place. The excellent 4.5 rating can’t be based on reality. I asked for extra pillows and was told by a member of the staff that they did not have any because they were full the night before. It was 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Suffice it to say we will never stay here again and felt like we were mislead by Expedia with the 4.5 rating.

We have stayed at Whispering Hills many times in the last 20 years. It used to be a very decent place to stay. The breakfast was good and nighttime ice cream and cobbler. The hotel when we first started staying there didn't have the elevator so you had to climb stairs. The elevator is helpful but the hotel needs updated and allot of repairs. I think it's been bought and sold a couple of times since we first started staying here. The breakfast room really needs some improvements. Tables falling apart and not balanced on the floor. It's getting run down and people buy these and just want to make money and not put any back into it. Very disappointing from our stays 20 years ago.

This was a stab-in-the-dark reservation. After reading the Tripadvisor reviews, we chose Whispering Hills for a two night stay while we went to the Sight-and-Sound Theatre production of “Esther”, which by the way was indescribable! Our room was modest, but very clean and well kept. The hotel staff was very polite and accommodating. As we arrived in the evening the desk clerk invited us for complimentary desserts in the breakfast room. This is something new to us! Peach cobbler and cherry cobbler, ice cream, cookies and coffee greeted us there and was a pleasant surprise after a long drive. Apparently this is a standard amenity at Whispering Hills. After a good night’s sleep, breakfast was made available with scrambled eggs, home fries, sausages, biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt, fruit, muffins, and coffee! what more could one ask for? So for Whispering Hills, I give a double thumbs up and a strong recommendation to anyone looking for an economical stay in Branson.

While we experienced nothing horrific, our stay was disappointing. We were actually surprised at the 4.5 star average reviews. The rooms weren’t bad, but minor upkeep has been neglected for some time. There were other minor issues such as no Kleenexes in our room. It really wasn’t a bad stay, but definitely didn’t earn the ratings we saw.

Positive: comfortable bed with great linens and pillows. Towels plentiful. They actually had a Bible, thank you!! Reason not to go: Poorly cleaned sink and shower. Cannot tell cleanliness of floor as carpet is brown, the color of dirt. I always wear sandals in hotel accommodations.

Decent motel for the price. Rooms smelled very good and air conditioner worked great. The hot breakfast was good and is served until 10am. The beds squeaked and moved, and the sides of the toilet needed cleaned of old urine but overall the room was clean. Thankfully the motel isn’t close to all the noise of Branson.

We showed up for our prepaid reservation when the heat index was 100+ degrees to a very hot room. The ac was not on and it was like a sauna in our room. We then went looking for an ice machine. They say there's one on the 4th, 3rd and 2nd floor. There wasn't one on the 4th floor and the ones on the 2nd and 3rd floor were out of order. Then we went to get the evening dessert. We come back to the 4th floor and neither of our cards worked, so we couldn't get into our room. As our ice cream was melting, my husband went to the front desk. Instead of rekeying our cards at reception, the guy came up to confirm the cards didn't work, went back to reception, then came back with a device to let us in... as our ice cream was melting. .. We have been here for not even ONE DA Y!!

This trip was our first time staying at Whispering Hills, and we were pleasantly surprised. Getting to everything was easy and a lot faster than staying on the strip. Less traffic and less stress. Our room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. One thing that we noticed was that the parking lot was well lit, so we felt safe and secure. Most likely, weI will stay again.

Looking for a last minute inexpensive hotel. I found this with good reviews and low price. I was a little worried because it was so cheap but knew there were other available rooms at larger chain hotels if it was horrible. It was nice. Yes smaller older hotel that had in room updates for the vanity. Bathroom was small. Toilet wiggled a little. A/C was older wall unit that was pretty dirty but did it s job quietly and did not smell . Beds , floors over all room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Quiet area of town. Slept great. Jay at front desk was nice at checkin. They offer evening desserts in breakfast room and full breakfast. We were gone to a show and left before breakfast so can’t review the quality of food. I would stay here again.

Value is good, seemed clean, quiet, however the black paint on the sidewalk by pool and walkways in front of hotel doors was extremely HOT and burned my feet. When we checked in, our room wasn't pre cooled. It was miserable for at least 2 hours. We faced sun down and had to keep windows drawn cause of sun. The free cookies and ice cream was a real treat! The breakfast was a plus! Pool was nice and crystal clear. Staff could have been a little more friendly (not rude but just no real personalities like no joy!) Overall I'd say we had a good 2 day stay for the amount we paid.
