great location, clean comfortable rooms, nice pool, amazing "hall of heroes" veterans museum, ice box in room, outside smoking areas, ample free parking, smallish restaurant and bar; friendly staff,9 stories with...
It was a nice room as far as furniture, but there are no usb outlets. Also, the bathroom is very small. Be sure you close the door in the bathroom before you sit on the toilet because the door will not clear your...
Husband and me had to take a trip for a funeral. We thought at first cute, clean spot. The bed was awful felt like sleeping on a cardboard box. We stayed on a Friday left on Saturday and I noticed charge for room on Saturday. We get home on Monday and I noticed an additional charge of $22.47 on my account after calling them all day someone finally answered to tell me I stole the towels and they charged me 5.00 a pieace. I have never stole anything. I went off, first of all there was only 2 towels in the room when we got there. They did refund me but, as I promised I was leaving a bad review. Check your bank account if you stay there.
Room was clean. Bed comfortable. On the Strip so some traffic noise. Good if you just need somewhere to sleep and get cleaned up to roam Branson. Warm water in shower. No problems with noise from other guests.
Out of all the places in Branson, I picked this one because of its cheap rate. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Horrible smell that I couldn't quite make out, and not too sure I wanted to. Nothing drained and the roar of Main Street will keep light sleepers up all night. There has to be a better place to go.
Service--Service was excellent. The Chinese owner was quite kind, and he even helped me out with early check-out (which was a huge contrast to the Caprice Motor Inn because they did not allow check-outs before 7:30 a.m. to beat the traffic). Value--The price of $36 total may be substandard for folks, yet the value was well worth the money spent here. Sleep Quality--Sleep quality was superb, and the beds were quite soft! Cleanliness--Cleanliness was in top shape. Normally, people think of low quality when staying at a low-priced motel. However, this is not the case with Walnut Lane Motel. The room even smelled quite fresh. Location--This is a perfect location on the eastern outskirts of Branson, which is away from the majority of the traffic. Rooms--The room was great despite the basic look and basic amenities. I did not the use the WiFi since I was quite tired at the time. I saw that there was a connection, yet was password-protected. Overall, I would definitely recommend Walnut Lane Motel to all travelers if looking for an inexpensive stay, wanting to stay away from the main traffic, and being close to US 65.…
