We decided at the last minute to slip away to Branson to see the Christmas lights! Needless to say, our regular hotels were completely booked. Hampton Inn has always been good to us during our travels, so we were grateful they had a room available. Branson was extremely busy the weekend before Christmas, and we were thrilled with the location away from the craziness of 76 Country Blvd. The staff were all friendly and our room was clean. We were a little disappointed that there wasn't a chair in the room, except for the desk chair. Other than that, we enjoyed all of the Branson Christmas lights and had a lovely visit!

We have stayed here several times and it is always clean, quite and well run. They are VERY quick is solving any problem if it should arrive. All the staff encountered served with excellence. I would highly recommend this Hampton as your Branson place to stay.

My room was very clean and inviting! It smelled so nice and nothing like those weird chemical smells some hotel rooms have. The beds and bedding were very comfortable as well. The housekeeping staff was amazing and the girl who serviced my room went above and beyond (I did not get her name) Breakfast was also amazing and so is the gym! The only thing I would say is maybe a bit more hospitality training for one of the front desk women with short dark hair. She was unpleasant upon checking in and also dealing with some of the reasonable needs I had. Other than that it was a wonderful property and a great stay!

We have stayed at this property many times and have always like it and it's location. However, our last stay was very disappointing. SW Missouri is still a major COVID hot spot. The hotel has signs posted everywhere clearly stating that masks are required for all guest and staff. NONE of the staff (including those preparing/serving breakfast) wore a mask. The hotel also didn't have the COVID-19 safety and cleanliness protocols all of the other Hilton properties we have recently stay at followed. Nothing in the room was disinfected and no cleaning/disinfecting products were provided. They also did not have a glass barrier at the check-in desk. We were really disappointed with how this property isn't even following their own posted rules.

Response from Joseph Sanchez, General Manager at Hampton Inn Branson - Branson Hills
Responded Sep 30, 2021
Thank you for your review. We do take COVID-19 cleaning protocols seriously and would like to clarify. Per Hilton Brand Standards, masks are optional for guests and team members who are fully vaccinated and we are updating our signage. We do have complimentary masks at the front desk should anyone request one. Hilton Brand Standards have removed the door seals and disinfecting wipes in all guest rooms, however, there are 2 disinfecting stations in the lobby. There are also 10 wall mounted hand sanitizers throughout the hotel. As far as the glass partition at eh front desk, this has never been a Hilton Brans Standard and is at the discretion of each individual property on whether or not to install them. We hope that this clears up any misconceptions regarding COVID-19 cleaning protocols at our property.

I loved the lady that was at the desk when I checked in. I had to travel with my small dog and she was very helpful. She had me read and sign a dog policy form. The policy read NO DOGS IN THE BREAKFAST AREA.
The next AM, at breakfast, there was a woman w a small dog, not only in the breakfast area, but she was serving herself her food w her dog in a sort of sling over her chest. The dog was level to the food. It was disgusting. I went to the desk and complained to the very insecure girl on duty. I was kind, but I was upset. she said she would address the issue. She came back to me one min later to tell me that the woman “needed to have her dog w her at all times”. I’m sure the rules don’t just apply to some of the guests (or maybe they do). She has to have her dog w her at all times, but this infringes on my right to have food that hasn’t been breathed on by a little mutt. And what about the form we all, hopefully, had to sign?!?? This stuff is getting so ridiculous and out of hand.
I asked to speak to the manager and the girl called her on the phone. The manger said that there was nothing she could do about it. When I asked her about the dog being in the food area she agreed and said it wasn’t allowed there. We left and I hope it was addressed.
Same woman and her family were all dressed in their pajamas, which is also disgusting and rude to those of us who actually brush our teeth and shower and get dressed before we go anywhere. You know, like civilized people!? There needs to be an actual dress code posted in the breakfast room. There shouldn’t have to be. It should be common sense to just get out of your pajamas each time you get up. This is just unbelievable. Not to mention disgusting. The entire thing.

Hotel is in need of remodel. The deadbolt would not work on the room door. No vent in the bathroom. Toilet bowl top rim was dirty.

They allowed someone staying at the hotel to park their 18 wheeler with a flatbed trailer in the front of the hotel taking up 9 parking spots for 4 days. The truck generator was running the entire time and we could hear it in our room. You would think they would have asked the person to move it to the back lot as it circles around the hotel but instead hardly any front parking for 4 days. We complained to the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do.

Also the front lobby fragrance perfume smell is too strong and overwhelming. I don’t like that Hilton allows pets now. Will look for another Hilton in the area next time as a Diamond member.

Accessible roll in shower double Queen room was smaller than expected. Unable to walk on both sides of each bed. Handheld shower must be held while showering. If placed in shower holder, the bathroom floor got soaked.
Room walls must be thin as we could hear others snoring, baby crying, and a TV show word for word.
The Lysol cleaning seal on the door is pointless if the soap scum is not even cleaned off of the sink faucet and shower knobs.
Maintenance did respond very fast after arriving and finding the toliet would not flush the first time it was tried.

I spend 100 nights per year in just Hilton brands alone. I'm middle aged and not high maintenance. Additionally due to my industry/company I've been required to travel during the entire COVID nightmare. I totally understand the challenges and changes the pandemic brought to hotels and have a great deal of respect for the hospitality industry as a whole.

The Good Stuff First:
All interaction with staff was friendly and professional. Property exterior, interior public spaces and my guest room looked clean/well maintained and smelled nice.

Areas of disappointment:
At nearly $170.00 (plus tax) per night/mid-week and off season; very expensive.

Elements of my room were dated; room extremely dark and lacking basic furnishings. No floor lamp, no rolling cubicles/ottomans typically found in Hampton Inns and TV too small for size of room. Bedding and pillows were cheap/low quality.

Breakfast was very basic with hot food running out each morning before it was replenished.

Location is strange (however quite), in the middle of an underdeveloped business park with undeveloped residential. There is nothing in walking distance...

Inconclusion: I would not return or recommend unless you get an amazing low nightly rate.

We stayed here for one night in March. It was not busy. The rate was high but we chose it as it was convenient along the route and the reviews were mainly positive. The customer service was good, friendly and efficient. The hallways had a strong smell of a disinfectant spray that was unpleasant. The room had a king bed, 2 night stands, a very small TV, a small couch, and a noisy AC/Heat unit. It was a disappointing stay as compared to other brands of hotesl in this price range that we frequent. It is not a hotel I would like to spend more than one night in due to the uncomfortable bed and cheap pillows. After trying this hotel, I am less inclined to stay at another Hampton if other choices are available to us.

This hotel looks great from the outside, just don't check in! Property grounds are clean and cared for.
the room we had had two broken shower doors that would not allow you to move them, even a little bit. Consequently water gets all over the floor when attempting to take a shower.
The desk drawer was broken and would not stay shut.
The temp in the room was hot all weekend. We had to keep it on 61 degrees at night to make it possible to sleep in the room. Very humid.
The water in the shower would fluctuate drastically from warm to cool to cold while showering.
The Power station was broken and we had to move the nightstand out from the wall to plug directly into the wall with chargers.
There is an overpoweringly strong stench of sanitizer/deodorizer in the common areas. As if they are trying to hide something.
Breakfast was tasteless, The eggs were instant and had zero flavor. Biscuits and gravy on the weekend were not much better. There was literally no where else to stay or I would have never gone there. We normally stay with our resort but they were full too since it was the holiday weekend.
Note to self.. Do not go to Branson over 4th of July without a nice place to stay.

The normal Hot Breakfast has started. As far as housekeeping goes, we are trying to do as much as we can within Hilton Standards. However, I do believe sometime soon, we should be going back to a regular housekeeping schedule.

I am not familiar with either of those places. I suggest looking at Google maps or some other program to determine the distance. You can set the hotel as your location and get directions to the other places.
