When visiting Branson, Lodge of the Ozarks is one of the few hotels that we even consider staying at. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, always clean, and the rooms are comfortably furnished. We appreciate that rooms are quite soundproof with only occasional hall noises. The beds and accompanying linens afford a good nights sleep, which is important while on holiday. Of course, the complimentary breakfast is second to none with such a wide variety of breakfast offerings. The pool was closed during our stay, but there is so much to do in Branson that it didn't affect our stay at all. The location is also perfect if you don't mind being in the middle of everything (we don't)!! We will be back. Thanks for a lovely, affordable stay!!

We had a king room with a jetted tub on the second floor. The tub was truly wonderful, the shower was just (ok) water temp great, but no pressure. It was a very clean room, well worth the money. There was never any problems getting in or out of the parking lot, which is also very well lit.
The breakfast is from 7am-10am and very well done. They offer a wide variety of breakfast foods, buffet style. Eggs, sausage, ham (one day) hash browns, French toast, pancakes, waffles and small variety of fruit. Warning though, the gravy they have is sausage based white gravy, heavy on the sausage flavor, so if you aren’t a fan 0f that, pass on the gravy.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights on the 3rd floor and enjoyed it very much. The room was clean, included coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and plenty of outlets for chargers and such. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The A/C controls worked as they should. The shower was hot and the water soft. They supplied plenty of towels. They do not do room service daily but if you need fresh towels just set them outside door in morning and they will replace. There is no Bar but the Breakfast was delicious and easy to navigate. We were a little late one morning and the ladies graciously allowed us to make a plate to go. We did not use the pool, laundry or exercise rooms but we saw several families enjoying them. They are well lit and clean. Located on the main Country Hwy76 it is easy to locate. There is also a back access to parking lot from the alternative Blue Route which made getting in and out easy even when main strip was busy. The Ferris Wheel is just across the parking lot as well as a few great places to grab a bite or ice cream. It was a quiet and laid back, Restful, Positive stay.

This is the ONLY place I will take my motorcoach group for lodging when we go to Branson. From the people you talk to to make your room reservations, to the front desk staff when we check in, to housekeeping ladies who do a great job, to the friendly breakfast ladies, to the maintenance workers you encounter in the hallways...they are the kindest, friendliest, most helpful people. They make staying here such a pleasure. The facility is clean and well-kept. The breakfast far exceeds a normal hotel breakfast. I appreciate the Christian music that plays softly in the lobby and hallways. I appreciate that they have scripture or other words of inspiration on their marquee. I appreciate that it is easy to get a motorcoach in and out of the parking lot and that they have ample parking for the coach when not in use. My husband and I have stayed here on our own trips to Branson and used the pool. The pool is indoors but there are doors that open so you can breathe in fresh Ozark air as well. It pleases me to be able to take my group here...I never have to worry about what we will get when we stay at The Lodge of the Ozarks. Nice rooms, friendly people, good food, and a wonderful stay!

Fantastic hotel! My son and I have germaphobia/ocd and always feel like we have to clean our hotel rooms because we always see grime and nasty things, especially in bathrooms, but our room was absolutely spotless, literally sparkling clean. Our sheets were spotless and smelled clean, first hotel to not having mascera marks on pillows or hand towels, or weird spots on our sheets, and we always stay in high quality hotels. The towels were all spotless and clean smelling, carpet was very clean and no dirt marks, just beautiful. Breakfast was ok, typical to other hotels, but they had cooks constantly checking food and refilling what was low or out too long, and someone was walking around cleaning tables, that was nice! I do wish they had complimentary tea and coffee during the day like other places, but can't complain too much since everything else was so great. Seriously beautiful hotel.

A decent hotel. Not luxury, but clean and well kept and comfortable. As with all hotels these days, the limited housekeeping service needs to be reviewed. Not cleaning a room for over 4 days is not good for either the guests or the property. A request for clean towels made at the front desk resulted in a bag of towels left at the door, which may have been taken by another guest as they were not at our door. A second request, resulted in 1 towel and 1 face cloth.
The breakfast area was spacious and comfortable. One of the better breakfast buffets and my only complaint/concern was the lack of fresh fruit. Canned peaches, anemic looking cantaloupe and some grapes. At least the grapes were fresh, but sure would liked to have had a banana for my cereal or an apple to crunch on.
I would stay here again, but would request housekeeping more frequently.

Thank you for staying with us, ukcat62. Lodge of the Ozarks services guestrooms upon request only, and if a guest wishes service every day, simply ask at check-in or call the front desk and we will be more than happy to accommodate. Whatever quantity and type of soiled linens are placed outside guestroom doors is what will be replaced by our housekeeping staff. We appreciate the opportunity to address your review.

Our family of 3 stayed at the Lodge of the Ozarks for 5 nights! This, by far was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Although the rooms were not cleaned daily, which we knew prior to our stay, the system for obtaining clean towels or tissue worked perfectly. The breakfast buffet was decent, but lacked a bit of variety over the week of our stay. The location was in close proximity to many restaurants, theaters and fun family activities. Check in was easy and the referral for discount show tickets was very much appreciated. If we were to return to Branson, no doubt about it…we’d book at the Lodge of the Ozarks. Thanks for the memorable experience.

Lobby nice and breakfast delicious. When we arrived we were given a key but no map or instructions as to how to find our room or where to park. I asked how to meet daughter who was parking the car and told end of hall, go right to exit to parking lot.
I went out the ext door at end of hall and ended up locked out of the building and had to call front desk for someone to come let me in because there was no keycard access. Could there not be a sign indicating this on the door?
Finally parked (wrong location but only outside door we could find) and then got off elevator and there were no signs indicating where to find rooms. Left? Right? Winding hallway and we finally got there. Only lobby door had ramp so if you can’t do stairs with luggage be aware.
Also housekeeping had elevator blocked because there is no service elevator. Here I come with small child carrying food tray and have to trek back up the hall to the front to avoid waiting behind 4 service carts and employees starting their shifts. They didn’t offer to let us go first so …..
Same elevator issue the next morning. Just not enough and we waited for three cycles since we had a cart to get downstairs.
Nice mattress, bathrooms very clean, only complaint is lack of hotel map or explanation of room location and service elevator needed badly.

The amenities are okay. We were happy with the room. They no longer offer full-service every day, so you make your own bed if you want it made, and change your own sheets if needed. You leave your towels out and they give you new towels in a bag. That's fine with us. We don't need people coming in every day to do room maintenance. Their cleaning staff work very hard! The mattresses were our biggest complaint because they are worn out on the inside edges where people sit next to the nightstand. Both beds were literally slanted when you laid on the edges and you felt like you were going to fall off the bed and fall into the floor/nightstand. We ended up sleeping across the beds diagonally. Turn the mattresses over!!! The other complaint was the pool being really murky and dirty. Dozens of families are coming in to stay because the pool is so inviting - but it's just really to the point of being grossly neglected. After a couple days we had to tell our little one that we could not swim in the pool because it was so murky and cloudy and basically just stunk. Awful.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed an "overall good stay with us," vickyb696. We want you to know our hotel staff does flip our mattresses three-four times yearly, so we are sorry you didn't find them to be as comfortable as most guests share in their reviews. As for our pool, it is sanitized daily and levels are checked and each morning as required.

Definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. The room was very comfortable, modern, and nicely furnished with lodge style pieces that made it feel like a cabin. Bed was great. Location was perfect for us too as it’s right on Highway 76 so we were pretty close to everything we wanted to do, especially since one of the shows we saw was at the theater next door, so we literally walked through the parking lot to get to it. The free breakfast was also one of, if not the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. There were numerous choices and everything was hot, fresh, and very tasty. Front desk staff very kind to work with and accommodating as we asked to change rooms to a room that included a table and chairs as opposed to a kitchenette. The hotel was sold out that night but by 10 a.m. the next morning they had a new room ready for us that met our specific requests. Loved everything about this place!
