Nice hotel. Great beds. I slept well every night of our stay. The room had a small balcony overlooking the pool area. Breakfast was the usual breakfast fare without gravy. I know it’s a small thing but gravy with scrambled eggs is almost a requirement. Anyway, just a suggestion. If they had gravy at breakfast, I would have tried to give them a six.

I have stayed at this location for over 20+ years. I must say that this was the worst experience I have ever had at this location. I will list some of the many issues we had during our stay. No hot water!!! Noise!!! Requested to be away from stairs and we were right next to them. Hot tub was filled with cold water. Called before we booked and was told there would be a hot breakfast, got there and they had nothing. Spent 3 nights using 48,000 points and feel like all should be added back into my account. We had 1 luke warm shower in the 4 days. Called the office several times about the water issue and noise. The maintance guy came to the room and told us that it has been an ongoing problem for several weeks now. Called Choice Hotels and even went online and they both are having tech issues.

We have stayed at the Clarion for several years on our many trips to Branson, and always enjoyed our stays there, but in December when We stayed there, the room was not very clean my husband commented on the shabbiness and dirtiness of the hotel for the prices they charge. We are making a trip to Branson in March 2022 and decided to give them another try. My husband made reservations several weeks in advance, however they told him to call back closer to arrival to see what room we would be getting. Two days before our arrival he called back and talked to some lady, he was having trouble hearing her and asked her to speak up, he finally said I am going to have you talk to my wife. When I got on the line, I could tell she was irritated. After a couple of minutes,She said I am going to put you on hold. Ten minutes later when she didn’t come back, I hung up and called back. She said I told your husband six times what he asked me (which wasn’t true.) I said well he couldn’t hear you, she angrily said well then he should have put you on here to begin with. I said well you are being rude and hateful, let me speak to a manager. When the manager came on she was as hateful and rude as the other lady was. She said what do you want me to do, when I told that the lady had been rude and hateful to us, she said well you are being rude and hateful, even though I had only explained to her what had happened! I realized immediately that this conversation was going nowhere. She again said what do you want me to do, I said well maybe you should apologize and get rid of that employee who thinks it’s okay to treat your customers like that! After that she would ask me something and then proceed to talk over the top of me when I tried to answer! She then accused me of telling her three times to get rid of her employee. I said that’s a lie, you know I never did that! I finally just said cancel our reservation and she said I will be glad to do that! Obviously they don’t value their guests at all!

The Clarion is going through renovations. Upon arrival, we were told ice was available on two floors. Neither floor had ice in the machines. We received I’m sorry. The least that should have been offered is let us find some ice for you. We haves stayed here multiple times a year. This is the worst stay.

The hotel was clean. While the furnishings are dated they are functional, in good condition. I get the last few years have been difficult for businesses and many have not had the money to keep things updated. Overall I recommend this place, for the area it is a good value. The negatives are, front desk staff often either don't understand the computer system or are poorly trained, checking in and out can often take much longer than it should. Again, I also understand it is difficult to fine workers right now. Also, the breakfast just blows, no other way to put it. IMO they would be MUCH better off either contracting with a local restaurant for a buffet breakfast or just skipping offering a free breakfast. No breakfast would make many fewer folks upset than waking to the room this is served in, it really is not worth the walk. Other than those two negatives, it is a decent place to say IMO.

Made the reservations October 14, (THREE days before my arrival October 16) and literally canceled with 10 mins bc I read all the bad reviews on another site where they haven’t been erased yet. I didn’t stay here bc it was an accident I booked this hotel then I seen where they only serve a brown bag breakfast not the beautiful grande buffet you see in the pictures on the site. Rooms wore out and stains in rooms. I still haven’t got my $182.00 refund yet and the owner doesn’t think I shouldn’t get one bc I didn’t fully read the fine print on booking.com..This was a sold out weekend and I’m sure they would had no problem selling the room. Next time I will stay at an American owned hotel.

I stayed at the Clarion on June 20-23. They put me in what is probably one of the worst locations in the Southern Tower directly in front of the stairwell when there were obviously other rooms available. Experienced people walking up and down stairs until early morning hours. Needless to say, if you get this room you won't get much rest. While the room was clean, the furnishings are very dated and the room is dark. Based on price this is what you get. Unfortunately I left some items in the room hanging in the dresser. When I called 3 days later I spoke to the manager CJ, who took my information and said he would check with housekeeping and call me back. I never received a call from him. I called again and again my information was taken down by the reservation desk and I was never contacted. On the third time I contacted them I was told to call back during the week day and speak with housekeeping. On the fourth call to the Clarion I spoke to Lanie who said they were very short staffed and that is probably why no one has followed through. She also said she couldn't transfer me to housekeeping since there was no way to do that. She did contact them via radio and I heard her relay the message. They called her at the front desk to say they were going to the Southern Tower to look. I remained on the phone on hold for a good 10 minutes until Lanie came back on the phone to say they hadn't gotten back to her and that she had a long line of people checking out and couldn't help me further. She said she would give the information to CJ the manager to call me back. When I explained that he never returned my call before and the poor service I had received she hung up on me. Suffice it to say, they are concerned with customers in house and not so much about returning customers. I will not be using this Clarion Hotel or any other in the future. Extremely rude customer service and ineffective in solving my problem. I do not recommend this Clarion!! Branson prides itself on upstanding and friendly customer service. You will not get it here! I suggest the Best Western Center Pointe Inn for a great location and better service. If CJ from Clarion ever calls me, I will update this review.

Disappointed, stayed here because breakfast was to be included but it’s a bag of crap they give you!! You have to ask for a breakfast sandwich, they don’t offer it! Indoor pool was over whelming with chlorine smell! Sauna nice and hot tub indoor nice but smell was bad! Outdoor pool nice hot tub was broke and cold(outside)! Staff was not overly friendly or helpful! Not sure we’d stay again!!

This place was such a wonderful place to stay in Branson. We always recommend it. Our recent stay there has totally changed that opinion. From the dead lizard in our room to the loud music by the pool, kids running and jumping in the hot tub and families eating around the pool makes the value of this hotel decrease. The previous owners kept this place up and now not so much. VERY SAD to see this. A continuous path like this I dont see this place making it for long.
