Very good comfortable and enjoyable stay. Their breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had in my years of travel. The room was neat and orderly, parking is convenient. Rooms were quiet and even with several bus loads of students staying there we experienced not issues.

The Heathers (there were 2 ladies named Heather working the front desk at the same time!) were really nice. I asked if there was a 1st floor unit available since I recently had knee surgery and she made it happen! The room was nice, but a little dated. The carpet was clean. The sheets were clean. The pillows were soft. The towels were plush and the black make-up removal towels were a nice touch. Good water pressure in the shower and comode. We could definitely hear the people walking in the hallway upstairs. But the sounds subsided once it was bedtime.
The breakfast was hot, yes. The breakfast was 'okay'. But there was a good variety and rotation of items. (Scrambled eggs, hashbrown casserole, sausage links, ham, biscuits, gravy, cold cereal, pastry, fruit cocktail, oatmeal, milk, coffee, juice)

Indoor swimming pools, hot tubs, video game arcade, elevator, close proximity to grocery store and gas stations and tourist attractions, scenic area.

I checked in as a last minute guest with no reservation, as I have been on a road trip and wasn’t expecting to stop in Branson. Heather Madrid at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and set me up with a room that had a very comfortable king sized bed and a jacuzzi tub with a stone surround and waterfall. The room is definitely unique and fun.
The hotel seems approximately clean and tidy, and i would stay here again.

Floor of the first room had an obvious slant to where feet would feel elevated when laying on the bed. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and had knats by the sink. Furniture peeling and handles broken. Lighting was dark. This was part of a tour package, so we opted to change rooms. Second one was level and a bit cleaner, but the furniture was worn out, the lighting dim, and the bathroom TINY.

We were told there would be no room cleaning on day one, but we would have it on day two (of three). That never happened. Luckily, we brought our own coffee pot and coffee. However, the room had ONE hand towel and two washcloths. We asked for more towels the first morning, which they brought, along with a shower curtain to replace the sour one, but apparently there must be a shortage of washcloths.

Security: only building 1 has a staffed desk. Normally, hotels keep the non-main entrances locked. Buildings 2 and 3 were never locked, main or side entrances. Yet, the pool that should be open 7am til midnight was locked all morning until at least noon.

Breakfast: Buffet area was dirty. Gravy handle was in the gravy and people still used it. Sausage was cold. Biscuits were hard. Eggs were hot and tasted fine, but couldn’t get beyond that gravy handle. We ate out the remaining two mornings, which was an unplanned expense, but found two places that were great!

There is no way this is a 3-star and the tour company will hear from us. Our preferred chain is Holiday Inn so it isn’t like we need 4 or 5 star, this one isn’t even a 2. The tour company should not partner with this place and label it a 3. In the future, we will pay whatever it costs to stay at a chain hotel we know is consistent for service and cleanliness.

Positives: Location, parking lighting, plenty of luggage carts, grounds were pretty and maintained.

The staff of this hotel was amazing. We were there for a scrapbooking retreat and they took such great care of us. They opened up a day early so we could come in before winter weather and accommodated us tremendously. The breakfast room wasn't open yet so they brought in danishes and donuts the first morning and biscuits and gravy the second morning. We had been told by the event organizer that there wouldn't be housekeeping services on the first day since we were early, but they called someone in and so our rooms got cleaned.

Also, I have stayed at this hotel many times and they have recently updated the property with new furnishings in the bedrooms. It definitely has improved things in the rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I forgot my toothbrush and they were able to provide me with one. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

Hi, Emilyn! Thank you for your kind review. The hotel loves our KISS Scrapbooking group, it was our pleasure to be able to get everybody checked into warm, safe rooms before that weather hit! Our staff wants every guest to feel like they are at home, so each department works hard to achieve that. Your recognition is treasured! We always appreciate the kind ladies from your group spending time on our property. We look forward to seeing you again!

A great place to stay off the strip with reasonable prices. A buffet breakfast was included with hot food and seating insde and out. There are plenty of areas inside and outside to enjoy, so you don't have to be cooped up in a room, especially if you are with a group. It is an older hotel, with three separate building, so there are a few places which need updated or remodeled. Also, it is off a main route, so don't listen to GPS because it (ours did) take you in a weird way.

Good location in Branson with alot of parking.
Front desk at check in friendly
Each building has elevators but indoor pools only in 2 buildings and breakfast served in building 2. In room fridge is a good size but tv is a non smart TV. Door to bathroom seems to have warped and was difficult to open and close. Had to flag down maid in Day 2 to get trash emptied and new towels. Breakfast was hot and good but there was no change between days In what was offered. By day 3 went elsewhere for breakfast. Pool area was very, very crowded and there always seemed to be a lack of clean towels. Friday night was a mad house in pool area of building 2... about 60 plus people in an area that should have been less than half. Adults and kids parked into whirlpool not letting anyone else take a turn, kids doing cartwheels on wet area near the pool, kids doing cannon balls at all areas of the pool, alot of kids wrestling with others in the water and nothing being done about it and multiple games of water football. Just an accident waiting to happen.

We were on a bus tour from central Florida to Branson, MO. We stayed there 4 nights. It appears that facility was built on the cheap. The air conditioner had to be set at 67 degrees to come on. If you are claustrophobic you might have issues with the bathroom. There is no place to hang clothing or towels in the bathroom and since they only clean (which is subject to interpretation) on the third day you need to be creative. The faucet in the bathtub was opposite of traditional, as the handle was turned counterclockwise from the bottom, it went from hot to cold. The bathroom sink is in the room adjacent to the entrance door. The bed was not comfortable. Carpet could use a vacuuming, it was dirty when we were checked in.

The hotel did provide breakfast. The same breakfast every day. Scrambled Eggs, potatoes, pork sausage, bland oatmeal, bread, yogurt (out of pump in a tub), fresh fruit, coffee. There is no accommodation for people with alternative diet (gluten free, vegetarian, etc) . An employee said it’s been the same breakfast everyday for years. When asked why not bacon the employee said they would have to raise the room rate.

The facility looks great on the outside, looks can be deceiving.

Bathroom door need a lot of WD 40 on the hinges close the would wake you up. Did skier to be moved to a different room, they let us move. Ceiling above was was a squeaker heard the people above walking across the floor while trying to sleep. Stone Castle dropped the ball on this and ruined our show night, by not calling.

I will start with the good, there wasn’t much.
The room was clean it had the amenities we expected.
The staff did their jobs but there was not a smile not a friendly hello anywhere during the three days we were there. We had to ask for extra blankets because there was no comforter on the bed and there were no extra blankets or pillows in the room. At one time when we returned to the hotel there was a terrible smell in the hallway. I called the front desk inquiring and was briskly almost rudely informed there was an incident in the laundry room it’s been taken care of click.
I am a person who appreciates value and save in a dollar, so I look for the free breakfast at hotels. I was there for three mornings I eat breakfast the first morning the next two I bought my breakfast elsewhere. The food was terrible biscuits and gravy biscuits were rockhard cold the sausage was warm it just was barely edible. If you are going for the pool and a hot tub I can’t say much about the pool I did not use it but the hot tub was a tub and it was hot water there were hardly any jets. What few jets were in the tub were barely pushing any water so it was like soaking in your bathtub.
I will be going back to Branson in the future I will definitely not be staying at the Stonecastle don’t care how inexpensive the rates are it’s not worth it.
