This hotel needs major renovations. Staff at front desk not very friendly. The hotel’s elevator doors were billboards for the different shows in the area, along with the interior of the elevators. Our room was on the fourth floor and we heard all the noise from the parking lot. Walls are thin in the rooms to the point you heard conversations from the people in the next room and every time they turned on the shower or flushed the toilet. All conversations in the hallways were heard. Carpeting in room was very dated and worn. Ceramic tile on the bathroom floor was missing all the grout and some tiles were loose. The floor of the bathtub moved causing an unstable feeling when showering. The old style heat/cooling system was extremely loud. About the only nice thing to say about the room was that the bed was comfortable although the pillows were lacking. The free breakfast buffet offered was lackluster. There was a minimum of an inch of water in the bottom pan of the scrambled eggs. The biscuits were hard and cold.

This is the first time I have stayed here, being semi-local, I have grown up coming to Branson multiple times a year and have stayed all over Branson in numerous hotels and condos. We got the King bed jacuzzi room. We found it to be spacious, clean, the bed was comfortable and the tub was pretty big. Yes, the toilet area was small, but I have stayed in many hotels where is was just as small. My bf is tall, so he did find the toilet a little low for him. The breakfast buffet was good, it was well maintained and overall we found it decently tasty and a good selection. The biscuits were a little cold, but the gravy was hot, so it evened out. The staff was constantly cleaning and taking care of the buffet and room, so it it was well maintained as well. I would definitely stay there again in the king rooms.

Rooms are clean but poorly maintained. Something wrong in every room like soap dispensers, drains, outlets, hairdryer…. On bus tour so whole group had same experience. Towels are very thin. Would not recommend.

This is one of the worst places I have stayed, the food was not good, the donuts were hard, potatoes were cold and not even brown, the pillows were very Hard, the TV sound was blocked to the point standing a foot in front you could hear it but not understand it. The soap dispenser was full but nothing would come out.

We were in Branson the last full week of October 2023, arriving Sunday afternoon and leaving on Friday morning. Had this not involved a group event at the hotel, I would have sought out another facility. There are three separate buildings that all have at least 3 floors. To my knowledge there is only one elevator per building. There is a pool and hot tub in buildings 2 and 3. Cleanliness of the rooms were good. We did not utilize the pool or hot tub during our stay. Each building had multiple entrances, which was a nice surprise. In a city that caters to families and older adults - this facility lacks rooms for travelers with mobility issues that require walkers, wheelchairs, or scooters - this is NOT a location to choose. Buildings and rooms lacked ADA accommodations. I asked at check-in if there was a restaurant on the premises, a young lady told me yes, and open 24 hours She must have heard something else, as there was NOT any restaurant on the grounds. There is a a breakfast room available 6:30a to 9:30a, The first night our room was a king bed with regular bath, the grab bar for the tub was about 2 feet from the tub. You would need to reach across the toilet to grab the bar. Not very safe. There are only 2 rooms that have walk-in showers available, one in building 2 and one in building 3. We arrived a day early knowing that we would be moving to a different room the next day. We'd been assigned to building 3 room with the walk-in shower, which would have been a great improvement for my husband, who would need the grab bar or walk-in floor. After checking-in I inquired with the young man at the front desk about the opportunity to move to rooms closer to the group we were going to be with for the week, I was basically told that there were no other handicapped rooms available - in any building. He seemed very put off at my request. On Monday morning I inquired with the front desk staff about a room in a building closer to our group. We had friends staying in the handicap accessible (large bath with walk-in shower) and was given no information. I then inquired with housekeeping staff that was working on our floor to inquire about grab bars in other rooms, The super-nice housekeeping woman even stepped in our room to look at the grab bar to be sure she understood my question. She advised me that most baths were not set up like that, she even volunteered to call the front desk and verify. We were able to move to a much more accommodating room in building 1 for the Monday thru Thursday night stay. We did not unitize the pool or hot tub while there. Next situation: one of our friends in the group uses a mobility scooter. There were no exterior doors that are ADA accessible for wheelchairs or scooters, even a person using a walker might have difficult opening the doors if it required it swing toward them to open...no doors that allow the automatic opening of the door for the person to enter... this was mentioned to a man working outside while going building to building. We were told that the State of Missouri did not require that sort of accessibility. My friend unfortunately had an issue with exiting a building after dark and required medical attention. It took the administrative staff over 2 days to even contact my friend. The cleanliness of the rooms and interiors of the buildings, the helpful housekeeping woman and the semi-flat parking areas are the is the only reasons I give this rating of 2 stars. The front desk and administrative staff deserve a less than 0 rating. There were other issues with the sales lady who negotiated our group space.... but I did not coordinate that part of the trip.... I won't recommend this location. I do not know the ADA requirements, yet even I see accessibility problems for travelers.

The Stone Castle Hotel is an excellent hotel for a stay of any length. The rooms are large and come with a mini-frig, microwave and coffee maker. The breakfast buffet is one of the very best seen. The minor problem we had was handled head on quickly and effectively by manager Linda. We'll be back.

Ceiling above was was a squeaker heard the people above walking across the floor while trying to sleep. Stone Castle dropped the ball on this and ruined our show night, by not calling.

We were on a bus tour from central Florida to Branson, MO. We stayed there 4 nights. It appears that facility was built on the cheap. The air conditioner had to be set at 67 degrees to come on. If you are claustrophobic you might have issues with the bathroom. There is no place to hang clothing or towels in the bathroom and since they only clean (which is subject to interpretation) on the third day you need to be creative. The faucet in the bathtub was opposite of traditional, as the handle was turned counterclockwise from the bottom, it went from hot to cold. The bathroom sink is in the room adjacent to the entrance door. The bed was not comfortable. Carpet could use a vacuuming, it was dirty when we were checked in. The hotel did provide breakfast. The same breakfast every day. Scrambled Eggs, potatoes, pork sausage, bland oatmeal, bread, yogurt (out of pump in a tub), fresh fruit, coffee. There is no accommodation for people with alternative diet (gluten free, vegetarian, etc) . An employee said it’s been the same breakfast everyday for years. When asked why not bacon the employee said they would have to raise the room rate. The facility looks great on the outside, looks can be deceiving.

Stay, I do apologize the Front Desk staff was not as friendly and helpful as they should have been. I will discuss with them the importance of customer service. I have tried to research your reservation, but I'm not finding anything in our Front Desk log that would indicate you contacted us about the unwelcomed visitors in your room. They shouldn't be there, but if it isn't brought to our attention, we can do little about it. However, we do thank you for taking the time to leave valuable feedback about your stay.

We had a great time in Branson this week. Stone castle was a great place to stay. Hot breakfast every morning and a great location. Everything we did was located within 10 minutes of the hotel. It was off the main strip enough it wasn’t super busy around us. We would definitely stay there again when in Branson.
