Fremantle Village hotel garners appreciation for its central location, which offers guests convenient access to local attractions and amenities. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness receives frequent praise, with most areas being described as tidy and well-kept. While the rooms are generally noted for their comfort and cleanliness, occasional remarks highlight the need for more thorough cleaning and updates in decor. Travelers experience mixed reactions to the atmosphere, with some finding the cabins charming, while others suggest a refresh is in order. Service is predominantly commendable for being friendly and helpful, though a few instances of unprofessional conduct have been noted. Opinions on value and costs vary, with some guests considering it a good deal, particularly given its desirable location, while others find it slightly overpriced. Amenities are well-regarded overall, despite sporadic Wi-Fi issues and some concerns regarding the upkeep of certain facilities.

We stayed for 4 nights on a caravan site which was very well maintained with nice grass. Very helpful staff who kindly rearranged site bookings so that we could be accommodated a day earlier. Plenty of bathroom facilities and a large, well equipped laundry (also plenty of clothes lines). Great location, easy driving into central Fremantle or there is a bus stop right out front that takes you through Fremantle, ending at the train station. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay again!

Husband and I stayed at an ensuite Caravan site and found the site with concrete slab for both the van and our vehicle very roomy, the ensuite itself was clean and tidy with lots of room for our belongings and hanging room for towels and anything else. The laundry had multiple washing machines and dryers, which was all neat and tidy and well kept. The park itself is very well set out for ease of set up or driving/walking around and every staff member we came across were friendly and helpful in every way. Would definitely stay again.

We booked an ensuite site for 2 nights staff, reasonably priced at $55 a night. Staff were very good and the place was clean. It is a mixture of long stay and short stay accommodation, everyone we chatted to were friendly and welcoming. Initially the park looks a bit confusing to navigate your way around but it's okay. The park could do with a little updating, particularly the ensuites, but everything is there.

The Deluxe Cabin which we had booked for our stay at this Caravan Park, the description Deluxe was way past it’s use by date. The sofa had seen much better days and sank in so much you thought you were sitting on the floor. The draw under the microwave could not be opened unless you opened the refrigerator first. The second bedroom is too small to take three people. Strange setup with access to bathroom off both bedrooms. Good thing the WC is separate. The bathroom also could do with a roller blind as the glass does not give that much privacy as I could clearly see the outline of person in next door cabin’s bathroom. This cabin clearly needs some maintenance to be done on it and cleaning could step up a notch also. The extra large TV does not make up for the negatives. Also, having a square glass top dining table not the best of ideas if and when there are small children around. The positives, caravan park not too far from local shopping centre and Fremantle just a short drive away. If cabin had been advertised on the website without the Deluxe in front of it, the negatives would perhaps have not been so much of an issue.

Upon returning to our site after heading out, we were shocked to find that our clothes, which we had freshly washed and hung out on our personal clothesline inside our privately fenced site to dry had been removed and carelessly tossed over our boat and onto ground around.

This situation was exacerbated by the fact that we had just completed a long journey of over 400 kilometers, much of it on dirt roads. As a result, our boat was covered in dust and filth from the journey. This disregard for our property and privacy is unacceptable, particularly in a setting where guests expect a level of respect, privacy and professionalism from the staff. Her actions required us to pay for another wash.

When we confronted ‘Chrissy’ about these issues, her response was completely unsatisfactory. Her dismissive attitude and the statement, "not my problem," were not only rude but also showed a lack of concern for customer satisfaction and basic decency.

I wouldn’t waste your time and/or money here, plenty of other parks in the area that are in a far better location that will treat you and your property with respect.

Response from Michael Kennedy, Other at Fremantle Village

Hi Mitch, I am sorry that you had a bad experience at Fremantle Village, I have tried multiple times to discuss this issue with you but you have not replied to my calls. I have spoken to my employee about the issues you raised and I feel it important to disclose all the information regarding the situation. The fact you were given very direct instructions at check in not to put your boat on the site as it wasn't allowed in the area, which you still did, and that you forgot to mention in your review that your clothes lines had been tied up to our fences that could have and in the past have been damaged by campers using our structures as an anchor point. We did try to contact you prior to undoing your lines from our fences before any potential damage may have been created. As mentioned in your review, campers should also respect caravan parks and the rules that they have in place that protects their business and assets.

Our visit was good clean and close to everything. The only disappointments were that we had car issues and couldn't get to the park on time so we had to forfeit 1 nights fees, and we had ongoing vehicle issues getting fixed while we stay there, asked to extend but they had no vacancies but did offer 3 days in a weeks time so I accepted that and paided for it at 09:30 at about 12:00 I was advised by the mechanic my car couldn't be moved for about 2 weeks as a major part had to be sent over east for a rebuild. I rang and explained this to park staff, that I needed to cancel which they happily did, taking a cancellation fee of some $20:00. For there troubles. Other than that, ensuite is a bit tired but stay was okay 👍 cheers aussie travellers

I’ve stayed before with my very well behaved little Westie Dog and will stay again and again. The staff are superb. The facilities are spotless and I have stayed in many caravan parks all over Australia when we travelled Aus for eleven consecutive years both in the outback and major towns and cities and this rates right up there.

This was a good place for us to stay as it was close enough to visit several attractions in the general area. This was a pleasant park to stay in with bitumen sites, a grassed area outside the van. The amenities were always clean. For what we got, the tariff was quite reasonable, especially when compared with some other parks around Perth. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed on a powered slab site, facilities are extremely clean and gardens well maintained. The staff were very approachable and helpful. The caravan park is close to Fremantle where you have the option to drive, free CAT bus or use a Metro Bus.

The chalet itself was really cute with a full kitchen and loft area up a ladder with extra beds. It felt like great value, especially if I had been travelling with more people. Loved the room so much I wanted to move in. It felt full of character which I didn't expect because they essentially have 100 identical rooms but the layout was lovely and felt like a village. Chalets are detached and feel private. I dealt with 3 different members of staff even though I was only there for one night and they could not have been kinder or more accommodating. I was made to feel so welcome and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended
