If youre looking for a place to chill, then this is the place. Great value for money, spacious rooms, nice view from your balcony. Good customer service. I hope they have a sandy beach though and not too far from the city. Still we loved our stay.

There’s access to the sea on the foot of the resort. Great for photos during sunset. There was also an infinity pool right beside the bar. Views were breathless. Just a small place but I was happy w our stay. Food portions are huge too. Great rooms but we had problems w our cabana’s aircon and there weren’t any bidets in the toilet

I love this place eversince way back 2011. They did not have room service, tv and wifi then. But now, they even have massage services and I heard people just come in to eat. I love the serenity and that fantastic view in the balcony. The rooms are still well maintained. The resort has this exclusivity feeling. It is pricey compared to other resorts in Santander, but it is worth the money. One of the best thing here is the infinity pool. The pool caretaker clearly loves his job! He vacuums the pool and scrubs the tiles in addition to the normal cleansing process every morning. And not only that, the pool is wonderfully heated. When you are in the Philippines, not all pools are heated, especially at condominiums in Cebu City. But this infinity pool is just warm and so instagramable! Food is great too. You get towels at the pool area. The ambience is great, not noisy, and I just love it. The peeple who worked there are very attentive, helpful and friendly. The downside was not the resort staff's fault. There were guests that night, around 30 folks who were very loud and drunk. It was not the sort of thing you usually see there, I bet. We were about to have night swimming but we skipped that. The next morning, I sat on a triangular glass bit from a beer bottle that was broken the night before. I wished the admin would be informed of this so that this sort of thing won't drive away guests. Wifi here does not work, at least that was very slow and totally useless. Tips for commuters if you want to visit downtown. Just be wary of drivers who ask for too high price for tranporting you to and from Eden Resort. Always be clear of the price before hopping in. You can give 20 pesos per head. All in all, I would go back to this place definitely.

we choose this resort for our planned encounter with the whales in Oslob. This is one of the better European-owned resort in the area. Nice basic room, ocean view, clean pool, good restaurant with fresh food, well maintained resort

This place has just saved me today: run out of cash, and no ATM on the horizon. Plus hungry and thirsty. And then we saw a sign — Eden. Very nice place with infinity pool and great view. The menu includes a lot of options and we decided to have a mix of European and Phil dishes: Noodles, Spaghetti carbonara and Pina colada to polish it. Very tasty and it took only 10 min. Service is amazing and we hope to be back to try hotel as well:-)

Well Eden Resort turned out to be a gem! No negatives. The check in staff are so helpful and will really help arrange anything you want. We walked to the resort from our ferry which arrived from Dumaguete, but if you arrive from Siquijor at the farther port, I would suggest a trike. The grounds are lush and very well kept with nice pathways and lighting! Our room had a balcony and was right on the ocean serving up beautiful bay side sunsets as well as nice morning scenes of fisherman on their tiny boats. Really nice balcony to relax on and enjoy the view at all times of the day. Nice closets, cold AC, good minibar - really an awesome spot. We didn't have time to do a dive with them, but their boats/diveshop looked pretty cool! The infinity pool is beautifully maintained and is right beside their restaurant. Perfect for some fries/beer/coke in the late afternoon. The free breakfast was a nice start to the day - usually just had some cornflakes + coffee and added a fruit plate of mango and banana for ~50 php - well worth it. We rented a scooter from them for quite a reasonable price and it was perfect for our limited stay. We motorbiked up to Kawasan Falls (50mins by non-pro biker) - across the island for some lunch and then back down and around for sunset and dinner all in one afternoon. Really really enjoyable. There is an entry guard on site 24/7 which was super friendly/comforting. p.s. take a look around for their rabbit enclosure!

We stayed at Eden for 3 nights so we could see the whales sharks in Oslob and do a canyoneering day. The hotel is small but very clean, and the beds are big and comfortable. The view from the rooms over the sea is gorgeous. Staff were really lovely and accommodating (they even made us breakfast to takeaway the day of our departure at 4am!). Food at the restaurant mostly delicious, which is good as there’s nowhere else to eat nearby. Only criticism is towels aren’t great!! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

My husband and I stayed in the suite which has a gigantic balcony overlooking the ocean. We loved it. Food was also good but location not the best which for some could be what they are looking for- secluded!
