I know it’s roadside coffee and I shouldn’t get my hopes up but seriously this was awful. My wife and I handed over $15 for two cups of takeaway coffee. As we were driving out we sampled it and it was bitter and tasted burnt. Mine tasted no better than a very average instant cup and her laté was scorched and undrinkable. Very disappointing as well as expensive.

After offering me a donga (workers room) for $60, Holly told me they were all booked out and the only room left was $120. However NOBODY turned up and used any of the 16 dongas that night. Then after I left, they tried to make an unauthorised charge on my credit card because they said they found dog hair in the room. My dog stayed in my car, looking after my Ute load of valuables and never went in the room. These people are crooks

We arrived late at night and Adriana was extremely helpful, graceful and sympathetic! She provided for us a basic bedroom that was comfortable and clean. Though basic, the facilities were clean and functional. You can have meals as well served by friendly staff.

Stopped overnight at the end of day one of a drive, towing, to Darwin. Booked into a motel room, refueled and ate ta the restaurant. The motel room was clean, comfortable and provided an excellent nights sleep. The menu in the restaurant was good and the food very good. In fact as good as any pub I have eaten at. The restaurant was well patronised with campers, truckies and motel guests. All the staff were friendly and efficient. We also stopped in and refueled on the return journey. Certainly a place I would stay at again.

Great spot to overnight between Yulara and Coober Pedy. We stayed in the unpowered campsite area which is HUGE! Clean and tidy ammenities and lovely staff. And the dinner in the roadhouse was beautiful. It‘s close to the road, so you hear the road trains going through overnight, but I quite liked that.

We paid $60 for a budget room which was all that was available. Overpriced for a dump of a room. Torn flooring, mattress falling apart and not enough blankets as I was cold for most of the night…which ironically was the reason we got a room instead of using our roof top tent. I’m sure the non budget rooms are better but I won’t be coming back.

We stayed on a powered caravan site and enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with courtesy. The staff were super polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I'd go as far as to say I've never seen more efficient, patient and super friendly staff. The meal we had was brilliant and reasonably priced. We had the pulled lamb and onions with mashed potatoes. There was enough to feed a small army! The amenities were also very clean. I'd not hesitate to recommend this place and will certainly stay again

Coffee stop on road trip to Alice. Did the job perked us up for our next leg. Good coffee which is not an easy thing to find sometimes. Friendly staff, good time to be travelling in Jan as not so busy. Imagine places like this get hammered in the high season.

We were running ahead of time and decided to stop at Cadney for lunch there was 9 of us, on walking in we were greeted with " our toilets are not public toilets if your not buying anything you can't use them" no hello how are ya goin? Just straight up rude. The toilets were covered in vomit according to the sign on the door hadn't been cleaned for 2 days anyway. Due to the rudeness of the older lady we decided to just grab a drink and head Marla for lunch where we were welcomed like you should be. Don't work in hospitality if you can't be friendly. Do not recommend head to Marla instead.

We would usually choose a free camp on this stretch of highway but the wind was gusting to 45 kms. We chose a sheltered spot at Cadney and had a better night. The showers are hot but old and cleanish. We shouted ourselves breakfast at the roadhouse. 2 lonely poached eggs on greasy plate. Not the best but understaffed and a very friendly waitress. Coffee ok. It was good for what we needed but would not go again. Nice sunset over the airstrip.
