Let me start by saying that the staff at this place is 1st rate. Very kind and helpful. Love the area - Brainerd Lakes/Gull Lake/Nisswa is one of our favorite vacation spots. There is so much to see and do and the locals are very kind. This resort COULD be amazing with a few upgrades. The unit looked straight out of the movie Hot Tub Time Machine. It was clean and well kept, but everything was at least 30-40 years old - including all of the beds. In order to have the energy to do fun stuff on vacation you have to be able to get a good night's sleep - and that just did not happen. The beds in this place are pretty horrible - we tried sleeping everywhere - pull outs, couches, beds - there was not a single place to sleep that was comfortable. A simple mattress upgrade and a few furniture replacements would have earned this place an additional star - but due to no sleep - we left a day early and view it as 'average'. I would not go back or recommend until upgrades are made for better sleep.…

We loved our time here! The cabins were just as we expected and the staff was fabulous! We appreciated the hot tubs in the cabin, ice skating on the Lake with skates provided and ping pong in the Lodge! Girls all loved the tie dyed t-shirts they made! We made many memories despite the Covid restrictions! Thank you for the great memories!

A great location in a huge unit with many extras. Attentiveness of staff and their cheerfulness made it all the more pleasant. The kitchen is very well equipped. We travel frequently and had been no where since we returned from out winter vacation earlier in March, early, due to the coronavirus. This far exceeded our expectations.

A few updates would go a long way. Staff was very nice! Towels were fresh and clean and the washer and dryer worked well. Will definitely stay here again. Fireplace and buildings were really nice. All the switches were labeled and that helped.

We spend a quiet week away from home every December during Advent. We enjoy northern MN and don’t mind the 4-5 hour drive to escape! This resort, however, is quite dated and does not give off a cozy, clean vibe. The unit was well stocked and had a nice gas fireplace. The back deck overlooked the woods and gave a peaceful setting.
