The hotel is beautiful and the wait staff are wonderful, however, expect to be gouged for drinks and food. We travelled with a senior's group tour and spent 3 nights at this hotel. Luckily breakfast and dinner were included. Water on Mykonos is not drinkable, so you must drink bottled water. The hotel charged 3 euros for a small bottle. We had a group dinner the first night and water was 7.5 euros for a litre. (I later found the same water at a local market for 1 euro and change.) I ordered a glass of wine with dinner and received a large glass with about 1 inch of wine. (I paid 11 euros!) I asked the waiter if this was an error and he said it wasn't. A bottle of Heineken was 8 euros. The hotel is quite far away from any local town and although there is a free shuttle, if you go you have to spend 5.5 hours in town before pickup. The next day we went on a tour and convinced the guide to stop at a supermarket where the group stocked up on wine, beer and water. If you're well heeled and don't mind wasting your money on over priced food and drink then this hotel will suit you quite well. For me, the gouging soured the whole experience…
LOVE this hotel! Everything is beautiful and maintained to a very high standard from the moment you walk in. The property is located on a huge mountain so you're treated with spectacular views of the sea from the get go! Staff are amazing, so polite and professional but also really friendly which is nice. Thank you to the staff that very kindly inflated my pink Flamingo!! Food at the hotel is exceptional too. The breakfast options are great and give you a good start to the day. Lunch at the pool bar is delicious. The salads and grilled chicken is awesome. Dinner at the Celebrities restaurant and Sishu are a must. We visited in mid May, so it was low season. We got amazing weather though and the hotel wasn't busy so there were plenty of sunbeds and space for social distancing. The girls - Victoria and Katarina around the pool are so sweet and professional too. They brought water and fruit round during the day which was a lovely surprise. We upgraded our room to the private pool. Totally worth it.. if you can, I'd 100% reccomend. Rooms are kept very clean by the lovely staff, they tidy and change the sheets everyday but the best thing was they came multiple times in the day to freshen up the room and in the evenings would leave a little sweet on our pillows. We loved that! The complimentary airport transfers are great, it's one less thing to worry about. The driver was welcoming and the transfer took about 30mins. There is also a bus shuttle which goes into Mykonos town several times in the day, from 9am to midnight. We used this service a few times. Again, a great service so thank you! We loved our first time in Mykonos and hope to visit again some time! …
Spent several days at this wonderful hotel enjoying the May sunshine, it was warm enough to swim in the sea with no bother. The water was crystal clear to see the fish swimming around you. I would recommend to book a room with a hot tub as this is the perfect way to relax while taking in the amazing view. Just one thing to criticise, its quite difficult to enter the swimming pools if you are not the most mobile, it would be easy to built some gradual steps going into the pool. Drinks are also on the expensive side. The service was excellent especially by the pool and restaurants.
We loved the Imperial Hotel, Staff was absolutely amazing. So friendly and attentive. The views were breathtaking. Food was delicious every time. Mykonos was a trip of a lifetime for us. We hopefully will be back.
Loved this hotel, beautiful 5* in every possible way. Staff very accommodating. Clean well taken care of. Location was beautifully set, offered a shuttle service to take into the town so never felt stuck there even though it was paradise. Food exceptional.
