The only thing nice was the staff and the bed. Everything else is just old and falling apart. This hotel was not with the $200 tag for a night. Should have gone to the motel 6. Save your money and go somewhere else.

If you want cheap hotel feel without the cheap hotel price, this place is great. I'll try to summarize all the issues we had: -Parking was terrible. We were told to park on the lake side, but when there was no room we were not given any options. Finally someone said we could park on the very busy road (not an option) or in the overflow lot, which no one had mentioned in the first several nights. -Our beds were surprisingly decent and the only thing about the room that got it to a one star rating. -Very strong odor of dog urine coming from the air conditioning unit. We complained about this and it seemed they tried to do something but it didn’t last the rest of the stay and the odor came back. -The refrigerator froze all our food. When we investigated more closely it was absolutely full of frost. They did compensate us for needing to purchase more food, but then when we left a few freeze-proof items in it the next night, it promptly thawed out totally and everything was room temperature and wet. The next night? Frozen again. -The hair dryer was completely unusable. It was like someone exhaling forcefully. -The doorknob was falling off on the inside, but also didn’t always work from the outside-we were never sure if we would be stuck inside or outside the room. -The key cards had to be reset numerous times. -The bathroom door did not close, although in an older building that may not be within their ability to correct, so it didn’t really affect my rating, just speaks to the age of the building. -The majority of the staff were rude or condescending, even though we tried to be very polite when addressing our concerns - perhaps because they know they have a terrible environment and they've heard it all before? -The real high point and the reason we won't return is that something - either an extremely large mouse or worse, something larger than a mouse, ran across the floor in the middle of the night-I jumped out of bed and saw it stop and then zoom under the other bed. We spent quite a while looking for it, but it apparently holed up under that bed or made it out into the hall by running under the door while we were getting the lights turned on. When I told the morning checkout desk clerk that I had seen an unidentified rodent, she said “we don’t have mice here.” However, when we checked in, there was a dead mouse right outside the back door for more than 24 hours after our arrival. I pointed this out to her as evidence that mice do exist in that neighborhood, and it appears they are being eliminated via some form of pest control (which usually is because there are issues with them coming inside, right?) and she just acted surprised that there are, in fact, mice there. It didn’t make her any more polite or apologetic, however. In fact, most of the staff interactions we had were terrible, (Eric was great) and if the rest of the staff had been at least polite, I most likely wouldn’t be mad enough to write this much detail in my review - I'd have just chalked it up to a learning experience and gone on with my day. Polite interaction with guests would have likely caused me to overlook many of the issues completely (apart from the mouse.) Overall, it was not good, and I will not be back. Lots of other options in the area, this isn’t worth the money they charge. Disappointing.

Our bed had hair under the pillow. One of ours key cards didn't work. The property could use some updates. The parking lot was pretty beat up as well. It looked like a place to just rest your head. The continental breakfast service was alright.

Was overcharged $70 for a room that was crawling with ants, bathroom ceiling was falling down and generally didn't seem clean. Did not look like the advertisement. If you book online make sure you bring proof of the listed rate. But your best bet is just to stay somewhere else!

This hotel is the worst I’ve ever stayed in!! I’d give it 0 out of 5 if I could. It literally needs a complete remodel, better property management, and better cleaning. It’s outdated, disgustingly dirty, and stinks terribly. The carpets and hallway floors are filthy, there was hair in the bed, and the bathroom ceiling was crumbling with what appeared to be mold. The front lobby was outdated, full of dust and just plain dirty. Beware of the pictures online because it looks nothing like that inside. We cancelled our reservation and found an Airbnb. The price seemed good and a convenient location when I booked it, but I learned my lesson… do your research, read reviews, and you pay for what you get.
