First off it's located at a not-so-easy to find location. The taxi driver had no idea where this place was. Anyway it isn't a star hotel, a small place. The rooms were rather strange - not a typical hotel room in terms of layout. There's a living area with a floor level bed next to a wall. There's strangely only 1 window and it kinda gave a prison-like feel to it. Towels were torn off at the edges, and it wasn't maintained that well. Breakfast wasn't anything memorable and didn't seem fresh nor was it hot. The GM was a friendly chap though. I only saw him and one other reception guy at the hotel. Seemed quite empty. I stayed there only one night.

This hotel offers a great service for your guests. Only the breakfast can be improved to attend the Latin American guests because basically the food is for Asian people. It's a good place to stay when you visit Suwon in South Korea.

This is my second time in Suwon, for long term trip. I can say, without any doubt that Benikea is the best option. Starting with the staff, the are the most polite I've ever saw around. They make - literally - everything to make you comfortable and have a good stay. The room is surprisingly big (royal suite) all furniture brand new, and many complimentary things. The wifi is remarkable fast. The breakfast is Asian style with some western things, like bread, yogurt and some cereal. It is quite close to Samsung comes and they offer a complimentary shuttle service. The region around is quite good : 100m for Home Plus, HiMart, Starbucks, Friday's, Outback and Metro. Bathroom is amazing too.

The hotel has a great location. Has a great breakfast. It is close to restaurants, pharmacies, shops. The hotel's manager is too helpful. And the hotel has shuttle service for companies nearby. In winter, the heaters from rooms and toilets work perfectly.

Better than 3 stars but not worth 4. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and enjoyed them but wanted to try something new. So, based on TripAdvisor reviews I gave it a shot. The place is centrally located around many shops, restaurants and nightlife. The place has a decent sized parking area when you arrive. The lobby is small but neat and clean. The staff was polite and professional. My room was on the 5th of what I believe were 9 or 10 floors. It was very quiet in my room even though it had a window facing the street. The room was one of the biggest I have ever seen in a major Asian city. It had a small refrigerator and work desk area. There was a couch area which I did not use except to open my luggage on. The king bed was on the floor which was fine for me. The TV had primarily Korean choices but since the internet worked fine I had no issues. The toilet was in its own room and worked well. The bathroom had two showers and one huge double jaccuzi tub. There was plenty of hot water in the shower but not in the tub. The place seemed a bit bland but the comfort was good. There was a small convenience store right across the street which made it nice for a few small food items. There was also an ATM in the shop which charged a KRW 3600 fee. I would likely return but given the minimal lobby I am not sure it is best if you are traveling with a work team. It had a breakfast offering but I did not try it so I cannot comment.
