Hotel was wonderful to stay in. Very central to the “tourist” areas - in fact you would be on the Main Street walking to the dancing fountains in under 1 minute. The hotel staff were kind, efficient and knowledgeable. We were traveling on a large motorbike which we wanted parked off road. Less than 2 minute drive - and hotel buggy to return me. At 0500 we reverse this process ! Room was clean; and had a nice bathroom. However I am 193cm(6ft 4”) and I just fitted in the bed. If you are taller … you need to check

Overall, the location was the best part of our 4 day / 3 night stay. The hotel is the most beautiful building in the area, and definitely maintains it's old world charm. Here are the pro's and cons of our stay: Pros: * Location - As previously mentioned, this was the best part of our stay! The location of the hotel is within walking distance of nearly every travelers Vigan bucket list and is within 5 minutes walk of Calle Crisologo, Vigan Heritage Musem and many other attractions, restaurants and pasalubong (souvenir) shops. *Friendly Staff - Everyone that we encountered and interacted with during our stay was very polite, professional and was able to answer any questions we had. * Nostalgia - The hotel itself is beautiful, and during our stay in December was decorated for Christmas which was a bonus. The building retains so much of it's old world charm, and is definitely a lovely backdrop for your social media posts and family pics. Cons: * The rooms - We reserved 2 rooms, and both were in pretty desperate need of maintenance. Old chipped paint. Slow drainage from the toilet, sink and shower. Exhaust fan in the bathroom was present, but did not work. No wifi signal at all in our room. Did not even show up on 3 different devices. *Wifi - It was pretty much non-existent for the duration of our 4 day / 3 night stay. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor, and only 1 of them had any signal at all. The other did not have any wifi signal at all. Downstairs, when you attempt to connect to the wifi in the eating area or in the courtyard you would either receive a connection error, or when it would connect, you could only get around ~1mbps which is not really usable at all in this day in age. We notified the staff more than once of the issue, and they insisted they would have someone look at it, but the issue never got resolved. *The food - Breakfast selections are very limited, and are pretty standard for what you will find throughout the Philippines. We've come to the conclusion that it had to be the cheese that was the culprit because noone else had cheese in their dish, but I ended up getting sick with diarrhea and upset stomach around 2 hours after eating breakfast on the 2nd day. That continued for 5 days straight. I ordered the omelet with ham and cheese, toast, rice and also had a glass of their (cucumber lemonade?) on the morning that I got sick, and had eaten nothing else the night before or yet that day.

Our group used three rooms here and stayed for 2 nights. First and foremost, the staff (especially Jedi and Perry) were courteous, very helpful and accommodating. They tried their best to assist us and answer all our questions. We were shown the rooms first and we were given a choice which ones we wanted. The only issue we found is that there was no hot water on the higher floor (3rd floor) room. I recommend the rooms on the 2nd foor and on the newer wing. This hotel is close enough to the town centre.

We booked for a stay from Dec 21 to Dec 26.we got the dormitory room at the 3rd floor. The room is good for 6 people. The room has 3 bunk beds. A split type ac. It had a cold and hot water. There is no bath tub but the shower is enough for us. Water pressure is good. The closet is not that big but we didn't mind. There is no kitchenette but being close to crisologo is not a problem. There was a table where they placed drinking glasses. No complementary water bottles but there are water dispensers in each floor. Kudos for helping save the environment. They also provide slippers, toiletries. The bunk beds were close to each other but we don't mind. The beds are comfortable but you need to ask for thicker specially those that are going to sleep at the upper bunk. It can get cold because the ac is right across the beds. The room is at far side of the hallway so it is a lot quieter. The room is also at the back of the hotel which is a relief. The shower head is big but wonky and the glass door's panel is a bit askew.Even the painting on the wall looks crooked. It looked like it fell and the repair being done is not so good. The bathroom door is a bit hard to maneuver. We feel like it is not sliding smoothly. It is making this banging sound. Parking is not a problem. They will assist you if you need to have a parking spot specially if you decided to go out of Vigan for the day and be back in the afternoon or night. The hotel also has a restaurant where the price of the food is reasonable and the servings are big like the pansit bihon and the pinakbet. They also provided us with a complimentary dinner during Christmas eve for all us. They even allow my sister's family to dine with us.They are booked in a different accomodation. They just paid 300 each for the buffet dinner which were composed of rice, pasta, lechon and beef stew like caldereta if I am not mistaken, banana bread, juice. Simple meal but filling. Breakfast is plated but filling. They have options for you to choose from, Filipino, American, ilokano. The staff are helpful. They allow us to use their fridge for our blueberry wine from Pangasinan since we did not have any fridge in our room. They also help us heat up our left over chicken from KFC since the kids wants to eat them for dinner with their pinakbet. The staff are courteous and helpful. On our last day one of the housekeeper thought that my clay jar wrapped in plastic placed near the trash bin was trash. I only found out around 5 or 6pm as i was preparing everything for our early check out the next day. Even the broom that I bought were missing. They helped us looked for the items and luckly they were located. It was a good stay. Good location. Reasonably priced food. Attentive, courteous staff!

I got two rooms for the four of us. One room was a little smaller (really small for a double bed) than the other because it was all that was left available for our visit that is why I assigned the bigger room to the big ladies and I shared the smaller room to a petite friend. I guess the rrom size at this point really didn't matter 'coz we are practically not in the hotel the whole time while we were touring the Ilocos Region. The beds were comfortable. Aircon is cool. The hotel is quiet, clean and homey. Breakfast is typically local of the region and served ala carte, surprisingly yummy. We had to leave earlier than breakfast at one time for a tour in Pagudpod and the kitchen had our breakfast packed for us upon our request. The staff were all polite and courteous and friendly. The hotel's location is very accessible. It was a 10 minute drive to Plaza Burgos and tge famous Calle Crisologo where you could find all the souvenir shops and we actually walked leisurely to the Calle Crisologo and it gave that ancient feel. Since Vigan is known to have been preserved as the way it has been decades ago, expect streets around as narrow. No parking area. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant stay.

Subic is all around a mistaking spot for me and my associate. This is the spot we from the start met. So on occasion we visit Aklan. This time we remained in Ciudad Fernandina Hotel, the lodge is rich as anybody may predict. Lodging affiliations are mind blowing, they are past necessities. We got an opportunity to have a supper in the rooftop zone and it was superb, we had a point of perspective of a piece of the great shake developments. Couldn't want anything more than to bring our various associates here and contribute some quality significance. Profited in any case much as could reasonably be typical from our remain. a devotion of gratefulness is all together for the terrific remain.

We stayed here for our honeymoon before going to Boracay, these are my observations: Location - very good, you cannot say anything else Food - it was very great and the staff were very friendly and helpful Lobby - very cozy and true to the heritage site but not all staff are very friendly, cannot even help us with our baggage when we checked out Room - I did not expect our room to be so small even if it is called "Superior Room", too pricey, I felt so enclosed Cleanliness - they do not clean the room everyday Place - Very quiet which is good Staff - not too friendly staff inside the hotel, only at the restaurant

stayed 4 nights hotel beautiful staff friendly and service good room clean and comfortable breakfast good great location you can hear everything outside the room street parking only room 207... shower smells and gets worse as days go by... one possible reason is due to tiles not angled towards drain mold behind sink aircon blows air straight in you face while sleeping even if you angle the vents up or down

Ciudad Fernandina Hotel, to me, help keep the spirit and the elegance of Vigan City. Upon stepping foot on the hotel square at night, the lights surrounding it were so vibrant and yellow, that help add to the beauty of the historic roads surrounding the hotel. Crisologo Street (the ever-famed cobble stone street of Vigan), was less than a block away from the hotel. Since we arrived on a rainy night, and on a weekday, the area was quiet and we got to enjoy Crisologo Street without too much people in the surrounding restaurants, and the little stores selling various souvenir items were closed, hence, I really enjoyed my stroll. Ciudad Fernandina's rooms looked new, smelled clean and fresh, with big beds, and wooden floors. It was a beauty. Their rooms were spacious with their bathrooms big and wide too. Good thing the air conditioning system worked well, since it was a hot and humid day. Their hallways were pretty impressive, still maintaining that old Spanish architectural vibe of the whole town. The hotel staff were very warm, hospitable and friendly. They made sure that our stay was good. They always served us with a smile.

Its a very nice place to stay! Rooms are very clean and modern (rainshowers, bidets, fast wifi) with good crew. Except its kinda off the vibe of the heritage district. Its facade is good though, both in day and nite times. The one f&b outlet serves really good food but closes real early. In fairness, we got booked here because all the vintage hotels were full. If vintage rooms are not a must for you in vigan, then stay here!
