The hotel is located in central Vigan which made it super accessible and convenient. You could walk to all the Vigan tourist spots within a few minutes. The room itself was clean and spacious. The whole hotel was apparently newly renovated and it showed! The bathroom had complete supplies and heated water. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

we stayed in this place last month, the staff were accommodating and the location is good...but the place is not clean...i even got insect bites from the bed...wifi connection is weak inside the room...

Had an overnight stay here. The room size is just okay for the price but the problem was theres lots of cockroaches crawling on the floor. The hot and cold shower is not working properly and theres no trash can in the room/bathroom. The staff were not friendly and kept a frowning face. And during the breakfast i asked for a glass of water and they said that its "self service" and they made me go to their dirty kitchen and get our 4 glasses of water. To think that there were only 2 families staying there that time. Wont recommend this place to anyone.

Old authentic residence, magnificent flooring in the spacious common areas. Large room on the 2nd floor overlooking the swimming pool, clean but very minimalist, no furniture apart from the bed! Hot water pressure good in the bathroom.

El Julianna is a lovely hotel that has been very well restored. The hotel is located right in the heart of Vigan so you can just walk to almost anywhere of interest.
The rooms and overall hotel are clean and spacious. And it is newly renovated. The hotel is also super child and pet friendly. My daughter had fun running around their common area as it is spacious too.
The staff were all welcoming and friendly.

We arrived here around 7pm looking for accommodation, The lady at the reception was really nice. She was kind and offered us beautiful bedrooms. we were 8 the bedrooms were very spacious. price was really good and breakfast is included. The place outside looks really old but inside was looked after so well. Very clean and very beautiful. I will definitely book this place again. Pool was not open when we came but we got good discount.

I love El Juliana. I went there twice with my family. The foods are excellent. The ambiance is relaxing and most of all people there are very accommodating. If you would like to go there, their local no is 7222820 . The last time was 4th of Jan this year 2014.

We were looking for hotel w/ swimming pool so I did book with El Juliana for this reason but to my disappointment, water was dirty and no good for swimming. Room 104 is right near the parking area, small room with two single beds, 2 pillows, 2 towels, and soap (no shampoo and toothpaste). Plus factors include tables and cabinet for belongings, flat screen Tv. Window-type aircon can hardly cool the room. No wi-fi inside room. Bathroom is small, with hot and cold water but shower is continuously dripping (faucet control was broken). Double lock inside room was broken as well. Poorly lighted.
Service was just as poor. No choice for breakfast. Not worth the price.
When we came back from day-tour before noon for check-out, the lady at the counter cannot locate the key; we were surprised to see a man coming out of our room (Room 104) who handed over the key. What he was doing inside our room? We have not checked out yet and there was no instruction to clean it either .. and obviously he did not clean the room .. but what the hell he was there? Good thing, there was no valuables left in our baggage but that was alarming. Won't go back here again.

We stayed at the cheapest a/c room which was on the ground floor, Php 1500 for 3 people - with free breakfast! It had a small ensuite bathroom with hot shower, fixtures need to be upgraded (or cleaned more thoroughly at least). No windows, but we didn't mind since we're not paying that much. They had a pool, which most inns in Vigan do not have. The water was oily though, because the kitchen was located right beside it with open windows. Just take a shower afterwards. :)
Located just 5 minutes of walking away from Calle Crisologo, El Juliana is not an old house converted into a hotel - which we preferred, if you know what I mean ;). There's a small homestyle restaurant just across the road, and they sell beer which is a ++!

The place is old and needs better maintenance. Our room is basic and okay for staying for just a couple of days. What I was bothered was the bathroom. The window was lower than the usual height for bathroom windows. That may have not been an issue if it had some sort of tint or blinds. I can clearly see the window of the rooms nearby and chances are they may see through our window.
They have an outdoor pool that needs more cleaning. We tried swimming and I found some stuff settling in the pool floor.
The service is lousy. Our requests takes time to be done. and I ordered a simple breakfast and it took almost half an hour to be served.
