You are basically paying for the location in this lodge, as it is right at the center of Calle Crisologo. But if you consider the cleanliness, the bathroom, and the staff, then you will realize that it is NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

For the room, it is spacious but it was dirty and has ants. I followed where the ants are going and found left over foods, under the bed, from previous guest.

For the bathroom, shower's drain was clogged and poor water pressure.

Tip: there are other hotel that are just less than a minute walk from Calle Crisologo and they are way more cheaper and better.

Grandpa's Inn was more expensive but had free breakfast so worked out cheaper and more spacious rooms. I tried to get a refund, but they would only refund 800 pesos and expected me to lose 800 pesos. Because of my complaining they did change me to a larger room! It was raining and the roof was leaking Three girls came up with a bucket. The shower was cold and not in the room and I had to dry myself in the open as no hooks to hang my clothes! Grandpa's Inn had bigger rooms and hot showers, TV and two bottles of water.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Vigan. The Lodge is in an amazing location, right near Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos, which made our sightseeing so easy and convenient. The food here was absolutely amazing. Every dish we had, from the crispy empanadas to the flavorful bagnet, was a true taste of Ilocos. The staff was so kind and accommodating, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Will be back!

My bestfriend and I enjoyed staying here. We really like the place as they preserved its original structure. Staffs are very kind, friendly and helpful. If you love taking pics, places with old stuff, and a location along Calle Crisologo, then this one is definitely a place you must visit!

Will be back with my family.

We had a great time in vigan city. Touring around town was really convenient. The staff were right, as we were advised that sites were very close to each other. We toured for just half a day. The location of the inn was so convenient after our tour. It was just right in the middle of calle crisologo where everything was near us. It helps that the room had a lot of facilities like the ref where we stored our bagnet and longga. Kuodes to the places!

Just spent an incredible family vacation at Escolta's Homey Lodge in Vigan! 🏡✨ This lodge felt so warm and welcoming. We spent our days wandering through Calle Crisologo, Plaza Burgos, and Crisologo Museum. It provides such interesting stories about Vigan’s past. And the food? Absolutely divine! The bagnet was crispy, the empanadas were flavorful, and the okoy was the perfect snack. Already planning our return! ♥

Just returned from an amazing trip to Vigan, staying again at Escolta's Homey Lodge with my wife! This cozy lodge is always our go-to for comfort and hospitality. We enjoyed the spectacular Dancing Fountain show, the beautiful Calle Crisologo, and Crisologo Museum. It was insightful, deepening our appreciation for Vigan’s history. The longganisa was incredibly flavorful, the empanadas were delicious, and the okoy was a perfect crunchy snack. Vigan is truly special to us!

It is easy to visit tourist spot here in Vigan because when we step outside of the hotel, we saw a lot of kalesa that they tour us around to the different places. The location of the hotel is very convenient. And excellent customer service thanks to the staff that are very kind and friendly.

The warm, welcoming vibe at Escolta's Homey Lodge keeps me coming back. It’s a great place to meet fellow travelers. It’s the perfect place to relax and stay after a day of exploring Vigan. One of my favorite is the ambiance at Plaza Burgos! It is so relaxing, I enjoyed unwinding in the common areas after a day of exploring the city. I can't wait to return!

I found out immediately that most hotels in Vigan do not accept guest with pets. This hotel might be one of the only few who loves fur babies. Very glad to have stumbled on this hotel while walking through the cobble stone streets of Vigan.
