Checking in, the clerk wore a mask. She was the only employee I encountered, so I don't know about anyone else.
The downside is the firmness of the bed. It was very firm and I woke with a backache. If you like a firm bed, it will be a welcome stop for you.
They offered waffles and fresh fruit (banana or oranges) for breakfast, but there was a small line at the waffle maker and I didn't wait because we had food in the room anyway.
For the price, it is worth the stay if you enjoy a firm bed. We stopped overnight as part of a longer trip.
But a great stay and I would recommend it for the price which was reasonable.

We had the same room again which is a 2-room suite with a kitchenette, wet bar, living room area and a king bedroom. It has a microwave and refrigerator but oddly no coffee pot in the room. We like that it conveniently located by the door and parking.
The staff is always friendly and check in is always fast and efficient. There was a weird smell in the lobby though.
The location of this hotel is convenient. Right on US2, next door to Big Boy, across the street from the Boardwalk and just a couple of blocks from downtown.
Breakfast was just waffles, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. However, that is more than a lot of places are doing lately. An additional waffle maker would be helpful.
Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and convenient.
Side note: At least in September…. Monday nights… there were no places to eat in town. Everything was closed. Very strange.
It’s close to a little casino where we played a few hours, had a great burger and headed back to our room expecting to get a good nights sleep. The beds were horrible, as they were hard as a rock. For an economy hotel we don’t expect pillow top mattress but the least they could do was put a pad on the top for some comfort.
We had reservations at this hotel for another night the following week on our return trip home. Couldn’t cancel it fast enough. It’s a shame as the property is a great location and very clean.
Where to start. I'll state the good parts. The fridge is over-sized, and the freezer refroze ice from the cooler. We could park near the door, making it easy in and easy out.
Ok, now the bad parts. First, at check in the gal at the front desk was not wearing a mask. I kindly said: "would you mind terribly putting a mask on?" She looked at me for a few seconds, the asked as if I had insulted her child and said: "I have a hard time breathing wearing it." I dropped it. We had two rooms and the key cards to one didn't work. I sent my daughter and she too, had a bad experience. (I hadn't told her about my encounter).
Now the room. It is dated but the bathroom door is that cheap hollow core ith the fake wood grain. The shower bar was straight unlike Marinette. The bed was harder than anything I had previously experienced. My back hurt so badly the following morning. And it is outside of town so cars and truck barrel past making quite a racket. yes the walls are thin so ear plugs are my recommendation.
Outside needed repairs too. There was a pillar with a fake brick base that had been hit (presumably by a vehicle) and moved over a foot. No attempt was made to move it back!.
In the morning we didn't look to see if they had a to go bag for breakfast. We just got in the car and took off for a coffee shop.
I know it is a cheap hotel chain, but the sign says Top 10 hotel by Choice Hotels. REALLY??
