You have different choices of lodgings in Manistique but you want to choose the Quality Inn. From tasteful carpeting in the halls, to seasonal decorations, a hot breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and good water pressure in the shower. The windows must be good too because we didn't hear any traffic noises. There are two sitting areas, one on each floor which is nice. Even popcorn in the evening. However there is no restaurant on site despite what the website says. That's the only thing that disappointed us.

We stayed here on a road trip through the UP. We had our dog who was an extra $25 a night. Room was dated and not fancy but is what you expect for a quality inn. Staff was friendly parking was good. Room was clean and quiet. Sheets were soft. It was convenient to the highway and across the street from a walk on the water.

This was a spontaneous unplanned stop in Manistique, and I often rely on reviews to select a place (although I’ve never written one before). We were very happy with Quality Inn. The receptionist was very responsive, the room was clean and large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom roomy, and the shower had great water pressure. We’ll definitely stay here again when in Manistique.

We simply cannot understand how this place is so not interested with paying guests. We felt we were disturbing the receptionist when we arrived. The room smelled bad, the bathroom was so tiny it was challenging not to hurt ourselves with the door while doing our things and we heard every movements from the upstairs party. Everything was so cheap, more than possible: toilet paper, Kleenex, hair dryer, towels, bed sheets, air conditioner, name it, the works. The only surprise we’re left with: How is it possible it ranked 7 out of eight. For us, it deserves at least 10th out of 8!!!! The conclusion: Quality Inn hotels will never ever be a choice for us, ever again!

The staff was incredibly friendly here! I believe the gal at the counters name was Shelly and she was very warm and inviting. They had popcorn in the evening, and an impressive breakfast in the morning. I was really pleased with our stay here. The beds and pillows were very comfy and clean. Literally across the street from Lake Michigan. I would stay here again.

We booked this hotel because it was central to some day trips that we wanted to take in this area and we didn't want to keep moving from hotel to hotel. We also had our dog along and this advertised as "pet friendly" with a low fee "per stay" for our dog. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. They even had a dog treat for our pet upon check in. The fee was truly for the stay and not per night. The rooms were clean and the decor was fine. The bathrooms could use some work- crack in the sink, rusting door frame, etc. Noise was easily heard between rooms, as well, but nothing that running the fan at night didn't cover. The breakfast was pretty standard hotel breakfast, but included several hot and cold choices and was well-stocked. Overall, this hotel is a good value for the price and I would stay there again.

Location OK. Breakfast crowded. Air conditioner worked. Woke-up to ants in the sink and in the bathtub. We were told, "It is that time of the year." No instructions for the phone and could not get a dial tone. Staff aggressive in response to request for help with phone. Highest price per night for our entire nine-day tip.

Stayed in room 111. Great stay, the mgr who checked us in was making fresh popcorn and had coffee ready and available. There is no pool at this hotel, which we knew upon booking. Looking at other hotels in the area, not many provided this option. Our room was great except the A/C was supper loud and annoying, woke us up in the middle of the night for it sounded like a rocket was going to launch in the room. Went to the 3 Seasons Cafe down the road per mgr recommendation and had a nice dinner. The boardwalk to the lake is across the street which leads to a lighthouse which my family enjoyed. Breakfast was great with eggs and sausage which was rare since many hotels were cold and grab and go options due to covid. We would definitely stay again.

Granted there are not a lot of options in the area and probably less if you’re traveling for business, but I would definitely recommend one of the other local motels over this one. The hotel is very dated and my room had a horrible musty smell. The Wi-Fi is extremely spotty making it impossible to work. There was a stain on the bedsheets and I debated asking for a different room but decided I would probably get more of the same. Breakfast is yogurt, cold cereal and scrambled egg product. The “gym” is a converted room with a treadmill, Weight machine and elliptical, but at least they have a gym, and honestly it’s just across the highway from the boardwalk which is much better to look at. Speaking of the highway, you can hear trucks going by but I don’t think there’s a lot at night. Hotels in the area are not cheap but really thought this one was quite high for what you get.
