I really liked the experience that I had! Mandy was great! She helped us out so much. She is a very sweet person! She gave us a ride to get food because my was gone hunting with our vehicle. She is AWESOME! The rooms are nice an the beach across from the hotel is really nice. Not to far from the boardwalk a the light house. Will definitely be returning.

We were there with our motorcycle club during our U.P. ride. This is the second year we have stayed there. It's a Mom & Pop motel. Nothing fancy but it was clean and the owners were friendly. Also, the Three Seasons Caffe' next door was great!

We booked through Hotels.com for the stated rate. We were charged a higher rate by hotel. When we asked why were charged a higher rate, they stated that Hotels.com was not correct. The owner stated that I would receive a credit in a few days. No credit has been issued. Pass this hotel bye, they have shady business practices.

I took your word for it and also explained you that I will be calling Hotels.com to get an updated receipt for us so it can match the amount they quoted you for. We have been staying at this hotels for years. But this year was a bad experience as we traveling with young child who always wanted to be in pool. There was this male employee who proceeded to get obsessed with our little girl. He actually stripped down to his boxers and got in hot tub and continued to move around so he could see her. Then he got out and his male parts were very exited and continued to parade around pool showing what he had in his boxers. We quickly ran from pool. We then had be careful to only go when other people were using pool and every time we went he would come in and just sit in there and watch her. We would then leave making us all uncomfortable and he even watched to us go back to our room. We did contact owners who said it a cultural difference and would have him apologize. Now days this should not happen and you never know if you are safe. Just keep close watch are your children here!…

Greeting, As much as we would like to empathize with you and make you feel comfortable, these situations are so misunderstood. As (myself) a parent of a 7 month old baby girl, I understand you have all the right to feel protective about your child. We love and protect all the kids who comes to stay at our property. Honestly, as far is our conversation is concerned, I stated that its a cultural difference regarding not having proper swimming attire. This is family operated facility and we strive to create a homely environment for all of our guests. Kids are always welcomed here, to a fun loving family-like environment. My sister and I took a road trip to the UP with our dogs. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. Our room reminded me of the 90’s, which I am fine with that because our room was clean and everything worked. The motel style rooms makes taking the dogs outside easy. They have a, laundry, vending, pool and hot tub available for guests. There’s a private beach for guests, but being it’s winter we didn’t go down to the beach.

We have stayed at the Grey Wolf Lodge in Manistee some time ago. We said we would never stay there again, rooms were dirty, pool was green, staff was rude. We heard there was (NEW OWNERS ) Thought we would give it another chance We are so glad we stayed, What a drastic difference, rooms were clean. Staff was so accommodating, Best sandy beach in the Upper Peninsula. The location is perfect, and our kids love swimming in the pool, it is very refreshing , Those of you that had a bad experience before, I highly recommend you staying here, NEW OWNERS have really made a difference. We are planning our next vacation here.

We booked a month or 2 in advance, and while waiting to check in, they quoted a walk in, a price $40.00 less. That started things off a bit. Rooms are clean, and comfortable. Pool was very nice, as well as hot tub. Grounds are nicely kept. They did give us a cot for a child, which was at no additional cost.

The beach was amazing. It was one of the best beaches I’ve seen in the UP, and I’ve seen a lot of beaches. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great for kids. The owner was friendly. The restaurant near by had excellent food we could take to go. We had a great time with family, and we will definitely be back. :)

Hotel owner is very rude and not accomodatIng at all. He wantes to argue with everyone. Rooms were dirty. Beds were terrible. Floors were filthy. Pool is gross. I will never stay there again nor will any of my family members.

Owner freaked out because my five year old niece was in the pool and not a registered guest. He was threatening all of us, screaming and swearing. I had three small children with me. Worst place I have ever stayed in!!!! Dirty, broken rooms. Gross.
