Overall it’s a little run down but the rooms have a lot of natural light from multiple windows which I never see in motels. The room was clean when we checked in. The beds are hard as a rock but that’s pretty normal for a cheap stay. I would say it does seem as though the front desk doesn’t really know what’s going on as they didn’t get the update to my reservation that I was only staying 2 nights and not 3 (I booked through hotels.com). They did have lots of coffee and some muffins available for breakfast which was nice. The pool is not open even in summer which is sad. Overall, it’s a cheap stay if your just looking to sleep here.

As they say, you pay for what you get. It's a simple room . The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff all were polite. The internet worked fine. Our room had a smoke alarm laying on a table. That seemed odd. I believe the add for the hotel said breakfast included. That means coffee and little rolls. We didn't need much anyway but it's good to know what you get.

When we first opened the door I thought we had made a mistake. The room smelt very musty. So we opened it up. That did the trick shortly after there was no smell at all. It's an older property and shows signs of age. It was very clean. I would stay again.

My mother and I stayed for three days and to ask for a extra towel was like asking for there first born child. Sign on for said myself have mask to enter but none of the employees wow a mask at all..we actually moved motels to a much more comfortable one down the street called colonial inn. Much more suitable for us and I world recommend it to anyone.... As for comfort at the budget it was a no go.. I even got better rates down the street with coupons for local restaurants and casino where at budget you was lucky to get day old coffee...

Booked a few nights here for a recent visit to the UP with my family and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and we got a very good price too - only $60 per night for a double. They are running a special until the end of July so we decided to come back and take advantage of it next month. The staff at the front desk told me about their family suite and took us down to check it out, recommending it might be more comfortable with our kids to have the added space and it will only be $90 per night. It's definitely worth it!

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating with whatever we needed. We will definitely be back!

I was out of options until I stumbled upon this place. I should have kept stumbling. The room had a musty odor and the bed was not comfortable. As for noise, well I could hear everything that was occurring in the room next door including when they went to the bathroom, no sound barrier what so ever. I will say that the bathroom was very clean and the shower did have great water pressure. The price for the room was decent, but you do get what you pay for.

Rude staff.they cuss you out for asking for towels. They stated we damaged the room with ink and would charge us 2 grand after we checked out early. Magically the damage disappeared once l stated we would return and take pictures for our lawyers. Will still be contacting people in order to shut this place down. Never been treated so horribly in my life.

I had a room booked for 8/8. I arrived at 7pm after confirming with the front desk that I would be a little late, and she confirmed the room would still be there. When I arrived, another staff was there and said the manager mixed up all the reservation dates, thinking it was the 9th, and therefore I didn't have a room. Neither did another customer who was in the lobby at the same time as I was. Another presumed staff was sitting talking on the phone saying that the night before, one of the doors was kicked in. Staff was very unhelpful as far as finding another place to stay and both me and the other customer left without a plan. Staff was unprofessional, saying that they were left with "a big mess" by other staff, and talking on the phone to another hotel, in front of us, about another customer who was "an a**hole" earlier in the day. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms were clean and the rate was excellent. They said that they are having a seasonal rate until July 30,2022. I guess its $60.00 a night for a Queen or Double. And they have a large family suite that looks really cool for $90.00 a night. There is also a really neat looking room with a jacuzzi that is the "Honeymoon" suite that is $90.00 a night. I will definitely be back! BRINGING THE FAMILY!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Budget Host Inn for a great stay!

We stayed here for 3days and no complaints. The staff was very friendly, price of the room was great and the room was clean. When we were leaving they chased us down and let us know we had a flat tire and what direction to go for the closest gas station for air was. Will be back again!
