We stayed the night for an event in downtown Detroit (a quick five minute Uber ride away), and now I'm looking for excuses to come to Detroit so we can stay at Trumbull and Porter. The styling, furniture, and atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful...More

Hello A2Aimee, You've given us so many reasons to smile, and we're sharing your praise with the team at Red Dunn Kitchen as well! We think good things should come in threes-- and with atmosphere, design, and delicious food, it certainly sounds like they did....More

In Love with Trumbull & Porter! This is a modern unconventional hotel, the staff has no uniform and there is no rigid "ceremony" which most hotels have & it feels like individualism is encouraged here. I felt the most comfortable and at ease here than...More

As soon as we walked in we were a little concerned. The hotel looks unfinished, but I thought the rooms would be different. The room had concrete floors, exposed electricity, and a sheet for a shade. The worst was that we could hear the couple...More

We stayed at Trumbull and Porter for 2 nights. The hotel was very nice, clean with an industrial style. Rooms were very spacious and bright with a comfortable bed, big TV and a big bathroom. Couldn’t have asked for more. Check in process was easy and they...More

Hello alberthammondjrband, You've given us so many reasons to smile; thanks for the 5-star review! We designed with our guests in mind, working to ensure our guests would have everything they needed while away from home. From gated parking to comfortable rooms and on-site dining--...More

The hotel's attempt to be a nice trendy boutique hotel fell short! It felt like a low end motel! I walked into the room and first thing I noticed was the old concrete floors with small stress cracks and old glue from the old carpet...More

The walk to the riverfront is three long blocks but less then 10 minute walk. There is not a microwave in the guest room but there is refrigerator. There is a microwave in the Sundry shop. Enjoy your stay.
