From the moment we stepped into Lands End Inn to check in until the moment we checked out, we felt like we were imposing. We never felt welcome. There were two men that worked at the desk that never introduced themselves, never offered to help with our luggage, and didn’t speak to us or even say good morning each day. Additionally, one morning at 7:15 am, we went to get coffee but were told it wasn’t served until 7:30 (even though he had two pots of coffee already in the carafes waiting to be put out). I would expect this type of treatment at a Motel 6 or Holiday Inn Express but certainly not at what is touted as a high end B & B. The two women working in the kitchen were very pleasant and it was great to see their smiles. No complaints about these two women - they were great ! We did express our concerns to a gentleman (don’t know his name) that was working on Sunday afternoon. He was receptive to our feedback. The location was great and the view from our room was wonderful but the lack of hospitality soured our experience…
Myself and my husband and our friends just returned from gorgeous Lands End Inn. Everything about our stay was extraordinary, except the beds. They were hard as a board and lumpy. We both found ourselves unable to have the comfortable nights sleep that we should of had! We stayed in The Wisteria Room and The English Garden Room… pillow top people!!
This is the penultimate place to stay in P-town. The views are amazing. The rooms are cosy and welcoming. For a romantic getaway this is the place to be. The staff was professional. The amenities are more than you'll need. This is an historic site just ready for you to make new memories.
Accommodations were superb. Location is excellent: reasponable walk to the center of downtown. Breakfast with frittata is a winner. Wine reception each evening was icing on the cake. Room rates were well justified.
Everything about our stay was wonderful. Every detail was delicious, beautiful, and memorable. The location cannot be beat, and as beautiful as the view is, the interior of the lobby and the rooms is even better. We had a wonderful time meeting other guests at the wine and cheese social hour, and breakfast, though simple, had the best pastries I’ve ever had at a hotel breakfast in my life. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.
