Manager was very good in dealing as I had upgraded to a Room with a View over the Gorge - but due to heavy snow, I got a more suitable room at a better price. It was cosy, warm with instant hot water. Breakfast was great too - once served to the table and the following day was buffet style (due to guest numbers I guess). More signage for reception and restaurant etc could make for a better experience in m addition to local information

I stayed here several time. first time I found this amazing wooden tube hotel from shy (wings of Tatev) . be sure about some points before reservation: - It is far away from big cities and no supermarket and restaurant around. - no 24 hours reception - Different rooms with different views. they build some new rooms right in front of other rooms and destroyed the view of old rooms

Overall, wow what a beautiful stay. The rooms: We took the room with the mounatin view, it was well worth it, expecially with the AC. The view was spectacular of the mountains and falling asleep with the moonlight and waking up to a sunrise, breath-taking. The room was gorgeous. Staff: The staff speak English and were polite. We wanted to exchange money with them from dollars to AMD and they were more than happy to help. Breakfast: The breakfast was pretty decent. Would have loved to have other things to eat, for example seasonal fruits. Area: The area was gorgeous, so open. There were peacocks walking around fluttering their tails! The place was surrounded by nature. What made it more pleasant was the sound of the guests socialising. The area near the hotel is great, Devil's bridge is well worth visiting as well as the Tatev Monastery and the Aerial tramway. This hotel is between the two aerial tramway stations so everything is nearby. Cleanliness: Extremely clean! Downsides: The downside was that the Wifi didn't quiet reach our room. So to use it, you need to be closer to the reception area. The other thing was there were workers drilling and sawing near our room and they were very much staring at me, which made me very uncomfortable. The sauna you need to pay for, which they didn't inform us until after.…

Rooms are dirty, food is terrible, the whole territory is littered with construction debris and the staff is not at all friendly. And the entrance looks like a dump. This hotel can't provide basic things like safety and quality sleep. Have you ever had a hotel owner says «if you can’t sleep with music screaming at 11 pm in the mountains (imagine the level of sound reflection in the gorge), then you need to leave» 😳😳😳 and I would love to leave in the middle of the night, but the hotel is situated on a serpentine and there is such a fog, that you can’t even see at arm’s length. Your peace in the Eco resort will always be at the last place than the trash fun of people who relax with vodka and Russian songs. Even the sound will not be turned down, but there is an option of moving people to a closed hall. Never. I really suffered morally and aesthetically 😂 It is not very clear why the name of this hotel is eco and also a resort - this place has nothing to do with what you imagine when you hear these words. In general, I highly recommend not to stay here, not to be disappointed in the Armenian hospitality, not to wonder why such a beautiful nature fell into the hands of such a negligent and boorish owner. And do not pay money for it, because you are not welcome here and it is not comfortable. This is the first time in my life that I can't say nothing good about a hotel. The nature around is beautiful, but this, as you know, is not the merit of these people.…

This place has the most stunning views I’ve ever seen. This is my second time here and can’t say enough. I’ve read a few negative comments regarding the service and food but I have not experienced any of that.

Beautiful location on the cliffs overlooking the canyons. It felt like being at a high end summer camp. They have open air eating with great selections for dinner. The breakfast was ok. I think your experience varies depending on your room. I had a room with a private bath and overlooking the canyon. It was absolutely stunning. The barrel rooms are less expensive but no view and a shared bathroom.

I'll try to make this as simple and direct as possible: - They do not honor reservations made beforehand - Parking space for probably 5 or 6 cars only - Very rude non smiling unhelpful staff - The pathway to the rooms is terrible! If you have a backpack then its fine, but if you have a suitcase with wheels then you will end up having to buy a new one after destroying it trying to pull it up to the room and back, and of course the staff will not move one finger to help you! - You order soup before the main course and you remind the grumpy waitress 3 times to bring the soup first then the other dishes, but its like talking to the wall! Everything comes at the same time! The excuse: "we have only one chef!" - You order wine, but you have to open the bottle by yourself! They just throw the opener on your table and do it yourself! - Heater in the room not working - You wake up in the morning and open the door to your balcony, only to find cigarette butts on the floor and the chair! So if you like to pay money and torture yourself, then that's the place to go to!…

I wasn’t going to write a review. But I changed my mind after I wrote the management a direct message, and no response from them. The place the nature is just amazing, but that about it. Service is nonexistent. Rude staff, rude management. Food is beyond terrible, all you can taste is oil. No receipt is given, not only they cheat customers they cheat the system. We hand large ants is all three beds. After asking the owner or the manager he hands over a spray can to use on ants, which I did. Next 2 days was the same happened since we didn’t get rid of the ants. We stayed 3 nights and not for once the rooms were cleaned or the towels changed.
