Very easy to get to. Comfortable, welcoming and charming surroundings as well as a cheery and charming host. 3 or 4 minutes ride from the best restaurants in Hyannis. Exceedingly pet friendly with a huge backyard where you can walk your animals. We would return for certain.

Thanks, but this is a two-way street. When we get great guests like the 3 of you, we respond in the same way. We just want to make the Inn your home away from home here on Cape Cod. Works for both of us and we enjoy each other. See ya again soon I hope. Bill

Bill couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming! He even made phone calls to locate a pet friendly restaurant in town for me and really seemed like he appreciated that I chose his inn. Super nice guy and yummy breakfast. I'll definitely be back :)

Simmons Homestead Inn was a very welcoming and cozy bed and breakfast. The staff was engaging and friendly and incredibly helpful guiding my wife and i on our first trip to Cape Cod. We're already thinking about when we can return with our family to share the experience with them.

Thanks and I'm so glad you had a good time both here and on the Cape. These folks booked in through a hotel booking thing, and they probably stayed at lots of hotels before. But now that they had a great time at a B&B I hope they never have to go back to a hotel again. That's what we are here for and to make the Simmons Homestead their home away from home here on the Cape. Thanks again, Bill

If you don't want the conventional cookie-cutter hotel experience, this is a great place to stay. Bill Putnam is well informed about the area, and has plenty of helpful handouts. He also makes a good breakfast. Large yard, fine old car collection, big yard with outdoor seating and hammocks, quiet street, friendly guests, pleasantly crooked old inn, lots of personality and character in the furnishings and decoration. --Marly

Thanks, you and Mike were fun guests. Since we joined Booking and Expedia, we are getting a lot of 'hotel' people who ave never been to a B&B before. We make sure they are happy and if we do it right, they will never go to a hotel again :-) Bill

I have never had a more heavenly vacation than the one I had staying with friends on Bill's property. I could have remained on the property all four days and had a nice, relaxing time. Luckily, Bill made provision of bicycles for us to use, free of charge, in order to take the short ride in to Main St. Hyannis is a lovely little town. There is great food for all occasions, wonderful local beaches and a friendly population of locals, chief among which is Bill, the innkeeper. Bill has a wonderful sense of humor, as evidenced by many of the decorative features in his main building. He has all sorts of interesting books and binders to peruse and a helpful recommendation materials on what to do or where to go in the town. If any of his material fall short, he's perfectly willing

Wow! It is something that I've noticed. People who say they love the Inn are people I certainly love having here as well. It's the kinda mutual thing I try to get across to make this your home while here on the Cape. Bill
