had a great 2 nights at the Anchor In. a couple of texts welcoming us before we got there, and again once on-site and when we left... so they kept us well informed. Welcomed by Sandy, who gave us the tour of the property that other mentioned, and a nice touch.. checked y nationality (British) so they could fly the country flag over the swimming pool along with 3 others. great room on lower floor next to pool, so could easily walk off of our private deck to the pool and back to the room if we needed anything. equally.. easy to go up to the library to get coffee in the morning or lemonade/cookies in the afternoons. breakfast looks good, we didn't try it because we went elsewhere, but a great selection, and friendly staff in there to help as well. Lots of items seem new (deck furniture, table fire pits, pool chairs etc and the (206) room was clean and everything worked fine. The toilet seemed to take a long time to stop filling, so may need looking at, and the mural on the wall in the bathroom looked a bit tired, but didn't distract from the overall impression. great for walking to town (10 mins) to the dockside restaurant next door for more breakfast options, or cocktails at night, or down to the harbour or veterans park. pool kept nice and clean, not rowdy, great for adults looking for a quiet swim. Would definitely stay here again,, we had a great time.…
My sister and I stayed for 4 nights during our first ever trip to Cape Cod. The location was great-within 10 minute walk of both the Steamship Authority and Hyline ferry docks. We could see the harbor from our room- great view. Our room was a great size and had all if the usual amenities. Everything was clean and inviting. You could always get a hot coffee or a hot chocolate in the library and cookies were available daily. The staff was very attentive, especially Sandy, who helped us when we had a problem in the room one evening. I would highly recommend the Anchor In to anyone visiting Cape Cod.
My husband and I checked out today and we were beyond pleased with Anchor In. When we checked in we were given a personal tour which is a great touch. The grounds were beautiful and the view was great of the harbor. The location was very walkable which is very important to us. The staff made some great recommendations for dinner and things to do. Our room was perfect and we had a large deck overlooking the docks. There was a full coffee station and the staff was generous with that and bathroom products. To top it off when we checked out we had to check in with work (both real estate brokers) and they allowed us to work from their library space taking advantage of using the wifi. They even printed a settlement sheet for me. This space also serves as a breakfast area (paid if you choose to partake) but has a coffee station and in the afternoon cookies and fresh lemonade. I highly recommend Anchor In and will be back. …
Everything about our stay was wonderful! Highly recommend! It's close to everyhting but still quiet. The staff is very kind and toughtful. The pool is relaxing, there is a firepit to enjoy at night and the ferry to Natucket is a 5 minute walk. Will definitely be back!
The room was just ok. Beds were fairly comfy and the room was very clean, but a bit pricey if I'm being honest. We opted out for room service, although they did leave a very cute basket with essentials outside our room. Also, the cookies and juice/ coffee at 3pm was a nice touch. We did get the breakfast once morning, but I'd skip it the next time for sure.
We recently spent 3 nights at the Anchor In and loved it! While Hyannis was a bit busier than I had envisioned for the Cape, our little inn was exactly what I had hoped it would be! The inn is a few blocks removed from the busy tourist section, but felt like a different world! There were two streets (Main and another) that felt really busy and full of hotels, restaurants, and people. Even thought we were still walking distance from it, the Anchor In was so calm, quiet and quaint. Upon check-in, we were given our KEYS and shown to our room, with a little tour on the way. It was such a nice, classic touch and really made us feel at home. The pool and lawn (with games) is beautiful and looks over the harbor in a way that none of the other places we saw in town could offer. Not to mention, the very stereotypical and welcomed sound of the ferries arriving and leaving. We were in room 101, which was a queen deluxe and it was more than we could have hoped for! 2 queen beds, a pull out couch, walk in closet and little nook for the mini fridge and coffee pot. HUGE balcony that overlooked the pool, lawn and harbor. if you looked the other way, you will see some construction, but there is no need to look away! The Anchor In felt like Newhart on the water! The pool, library and firepit area seemed to instantly turn strangers into friends! There was plenty of room to not infringe on each other, but not so big that it made awkward to talk to other guests Like anything, it was not 100% perfect, but as Elin Hilderbrand fan who was looking to replicate an experience of one her books on the mainland, I would not have asked for anything better! The whole family loved it and if we ever find ourselves back in Hyannis or the Cape, we will surely go back!…
Who knew that across the street from the Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, MA would be a bright, comforting inn offering a pool, & views of the harbor? A scheduled visit to CCH resulted in an impromptu visit to Anchor-In. Trying to find a hotel room in July, on the Cape was daunting...Anchor-In was recommended by hospital receptionist. The staff at the inn was very helpful, professional and light- hearted. Much appreciated!
We had a wonderful stay at the Anchor In! We needed something convenient to the ferry and this place fit the bill and then some!! Not only could we walk to the ferry but also shops and restaurants. The staff were all amazing! They were so helpful and accommodating! The rooms were very comfortable and clean! We loved being right in the harbor and had a great view! I would highly recommend the Anchor In when coming to the Cape!!
Amazing. Don’t let the outside fool you Everything about this hotel was simply amazing. Sandi at the front desk is super helpful and informative as well as friendly. The pool fire pit and grounds are so nice and the rooms are the best I’ve seen on Cape Cod. A+ stay !!!!
This place is located close to everything you need, restaurants, the ferries, main street shops and restaurants, etc. The staff here was absolutely awesome! They took care of everything we needed wit no questions asked. I highly recommend this place if you want to stay in Hyannis, or the Cape.
