I was born in Falmouth and lived in Sandwich before moving the the North Shore of MA when I was 8. I spent many day of my youth at Old Silver always dreaming of satay if at the Seacrest. My parents moved back over twenty years ago and I always stay with them and we spend a lot of time at Old Silver still and for the past 20+ years I have dreamt of staying at the Seacrest. This particular weekend my brother and his family were coming for a visit. My husband and I decided that it was time to full my long time dream of staying at the Seacrest. I wish I never had. We had a king room overlooking the ocean and while the room was clean. But the windows were filthy and we overlooked the dumpsters. The bathroom
Is in need of some significant updating. The itself is very dirty. The carpets in the hallway are stained, wall paper peeling in places, the elevator was questionable. Paint on the molding’s was chipped and dirty. We are at the hotel restaurant and the bar - the wait staff was inattentive and the female why was working the bar acted like we were annoying her by asking for another drink . When eating at the restaurant we ordered a drink and waited for about 20 minutes for it to show up. There was plenty of staff so I am not sure what the issue was. Just really disappointed in the all around stay. It could be because I had been dreaming of staying there my whole like and the picture in my mind was so magical and the actual stay was not.

Management has milked every last $ from this place. I am paying over $400/night and it feels like I am in a 30 year old Motel 6. The bed and furniture are fine but the bathroom is Motel 6 with wainscotting. Paper cups, no glassware with a mini fridge. I don’t drink my wine or bourbon from paper cups, not for $400+/ night. Water only on the first night, then you have to go buy it. Thought we would splurge and feel special but instead feeling ripped off.

Recently stayed at the Seacrest for a girls’ trip. The good: location can’t be beat. The beach is wonderful. The restaurant is average. Waitstaff was very good; price point for food was high for the quality. James at the front desk is a star. Our reservation was mixed up by Hotels.com. James kept his cool, was so kind and professional and helped sort everything out for us.
Now the bad: this hotel needs a total renovation. I would expect much more for the price point. Hallways and flooring need updating. The mattresses on the beds in our rooms (327) were the absolute worst I’ve ever slept on. Lumpy and unbelievably uncomfortable. They need to be replaced. Unfortunately, I’m not sure that I would return. I hope ownership pays attention to this review and so many others that I’ve read and invest some money and renovate this hotel.
Highlights: James and the beach during the day and at night for the sunsets. I cannot say enough good things about James. His customer service skills are outstanding!!

So many troubling things:
We were there for two nights. The first night, a loud fight occurred between two young intoxicated men. When a member of our group called the front desk, they were told that the employee was there alone and couldn't do anything about it. Eventually, someone called 911 and the boys were taken away. The next morning at breakfast, a member of the staff seemed annoyed when another table asked for salt and pepper. She told them there were only a few sets and the whole restaurant would have to share. The young woman at the omelet bar had her music blaring.
Our final morning, our group was told to be at breakfast in a separate small conference room at 6 am for a buffet breakfast.
We were directed to the room. Things were not fully set up (it was after 6). When the employee came in with her cart, she scolded us for being in there before her, even though one of her coworkers was the one who directed us to go in.
Don't stay here if you are expecting a relaxing or pleasant time.

First time staying at this hotel, and it won't be our last stay , we loved it. The room with a partial view was clean and beautiful , but ... no plastic cups in the bathroom ?? How do you take a pill or clean your teeth? and the 1 bar of soap was size of a cracker, bring your own bath soap bar. And the bed pillows were small the size of a couch pillow at your house , good thing we brought our own pillow.
The staff was great , friendly in every way . The beautiful beach won me over with the lounge chairs they provide with beach towels and umbrellas put up by staff. Check in and check out was easy . Loved the firepit at night.
Yes it's a old BIG resort and finding staff to work today is hard everywhere, but they did their best and it was good enough for us. We will be back .

I was so excited to stay for the conference I was attending, as I had considered booking during the summer, boy was I disappointed. Your property is desperately in need of renovations, upkeep, and more cleaning. You should be embarrassed about the state of the floor in the Ocean view part of the ballroom; rips nailed back down and humps where the floor is lifting that you can trip over are not the sign of a luxury property. I stayed in building 3 after requesting a room change (first room was above the indoor pool and was overly fragrenced, probably to mask the smell of the chlorie. The hallways were a mess with dirt and dust bunnies. The dresser in my room was laughable with the drawers all eskew. The fan/light over the shower only worked if you pressed in the switch and held it that way so I had no fan or light in the tub as I showered, and the outlet by the coffee maker needed jiggling to work. The walls in the bathroom were stained and gross, as were the roller shades on the windows and door. You didn't have enough staffing to accommodate our conference group. People literally had to wait hours after check in to get their room keys because housekeeping was not finished. The walls are thin and you can hear people in other rooms and the hallway. The AC was so loud I ended up turning it off and just opening the window during the day for air. The lunch and dinners at the functions were good, but the last morning breakfast sandwiches were late to be served and barely warm.

We went on a family trip for Memorial Day weekend. Front desk staff were welcoming. Restaurant for dinner was very good. Erika saved the night - accommodating and helped new staff. Breakfast buffet was good but missing omelette and waffle station. Pool bar opened on Monday thankfully! Annie at the outdoor bard was amazing - she was friendly, helpful and made the best drinks! We stayed the entire day instead of heading home after checkout.
The price was affordable, but looked into rebooking from August and $750 a night is way overpriced! Hopefully by then, they hire more people and have service on the beach for that price!

My family has been coming to the Seacrest for the past few years. We absolutely love that it’s right on the beach and dog friendly.
One of the highlights of our stay is always the beach bar! A special shoutout to Annie, her cocktails are top-notch, and she always goes above and beyond to ensure we have a great time- we look forward to seeing her every year! We love when they have a live band out there as well. Nothing better than great music, great drinks, and a beautiful beach!

We came for a Valentines night! Made the reservations three months ago. Had an ocean front room and wanted to get a few apps from the restaurant and a bottle of wine in our room. The restaurant was closed which no one told us for THREE MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!! It was Valentines nite so we couldnt get a reservation anywhere. The man at the front desk was rude and unopoligetic! Jerk! And the next day they were just as stupid.

Went to the Seacrest Father’s Day weekend and had the best time! The hotel has been beautifully remodeled and several thoughtful changes have been made. Really enjoyed the new seating and coverage from the sun at the beach bar. Annie provided PHENOMENAL SERVICE and took such amazing care of us, along with Harry at the beach bar. Also had a great time listening to the outdoor music. The food at the new restaurant, the Lantern Room was absolutely delicious as was the take out pizza. Can’t wait to go back!
