Hotel is located in the heart of a construction/commercial area. Very difficult to get around without a car as it’s located on the side of busy road used mainly by large trucks and commercial vehicles. I would only consider staying here if all other options are taken, it was very depressing, noisy, and felt generally unsafe. The room itself was modern but very small and dirty (dust and stains everywhere, the sheets had long black hairs (I found 3), and the towels and sheets had stains and smelled of sweat. The remote wasn’t sanitary or wrapped in plastic and the toilet paper roll was half used. So disappointing for $250 per night, what a depressing experience
My fiance and I were camping in New Hampshire when a hurricane came rolling up the coast. We decided to pivot our weekend getaway to Boston as it was only an hour and a half away. We needed a pet-friendly hotel as we were traveling with our dog as well. We were able to book Envision the night before and I called and asked for early check-in. They told us 1 PM which was great because we were needing to leave our campsite early due to the storm. I called the next morning to check in on the room and they had it ready for us by 11 AM! I was so thankful! Once we arrived they accommodated us with a first floor room which was great for taking the dog out. The hotel was nicely decorated and very clean. The room was comfortable and had a Keurig which definitely came in handy! Lisa at the front desk was so helpful and gave us some great recommendations on places we could go in Boston where our dog was able to accompany us. The location was close to downtown Boston, Encore casino, and had a free parking lot. I would highly recommend it and I would definitely stay here again.…
I have stayed here several times. It’s expensive for what it is, but it is in Greater Boston. It’s ok, but under maintained, low service, and staffed by nice people, but people who do a job, not run a hotel. Never do you feel like the hotel cares for anything more than just keeping revenue coming thru the door and executing transactions. They run it cheaply. The price varies and can be excessive. It’s a challenged operation. Rooms can be very noisy between the busy street location and the AC unit. Showers too narrow to be comfortable, cheap lights above the bed that can only be turned off by standing up. USB ports don’t always work and charge slowly. Minor things you expect are challenged. But if you catch it on a good day, get a cheap price, and one of the few quite rooms, it’s ok.…
Didn’t feel welcome at check in, housekeeping fell short, breakfast bar lacked choices posted on the menu so had to go down the street for breakfast the 3 days we were there. Wallpaper peeling off bathroom wall. With all the great reviews we were looking forward to a better experience considering the price we paid. Completely underwhelmed. Did not live up to its potential.
The room and facilities are Ok but the front desk service was not good at all. They did not give me any warning about not cleaning the room during our stay and when I came back at night and asked their answer was “no problem”. I understand some practices have changed after COVID but they need to make you aware.
We were visiting Boston and didn't want to pay a lot to stay in downtown - plus downtown charges a daily parking fee. Cons: -No safety lock on inside of door - there are holes for it. -The area is commercial so be aware. -No place to put soap in the shower; shower floor got slippery -No mirror other than the bathroom so you can see how you look or the back of your hair. -Smelled weed once in a while -Close to Boston but traffic is bad -No safe Pros -Affordable -Free Parking -Free Wifi -Accommodating when our flight was delayed and we got there past 3 am. -Front desk accepted a package for me (I had forgotten something at home) -Room was comfortable -It's a nice retro design, but some areas need a touch up.
This was my first trip ever taken by myself and I must say it was delightful. EnVision was a very cute boutique hotel. Guest service was nice. The area was definitely not one to walk around in by yourself but close enough to uber everywhere. It was a nice experience!
Both women we made contact with at the hotel were very nice and courteous. We will stay again for sure. The hotel and the rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Very nice price for the area and I'm hoping next time the casino will be open.
Inexpensive and loaded with character. We stayed in a king room on the fourth floor. Staff was very friendly and the accommodations were better than expected! I would highly recommend staying here. Location is also a plus.
John at the front desk was amazing. He could not do enough for me and my husband. He helped with the shuttle and gave us superior service. Room was very nice and comfortable. Definitely return. Shuttle to casino was very clean. Casino very nice. The coffee shop down stairs was very good.
