We come from the UK ( staying with friends in Maine but always drive to the cape for 3-4 days) .We have used other rental home ownership sites before when we visit the Cape and this year we thought we would have to abort a visit here due to crazy cleaning charges and booking fees ,plus we loathe hotels. And then- thank goodness - I found the Seagrove on Google. WHAT A FIND. So spotlessly clean , so tastefully decorated and equipped ( from the fabulous king bed , toiletries , to cooking equipment ). Excellent communication and easy check in . Parking right outside the suite . Best in room information file ever and no grimy pages- spotless ( this reflects the total hygiene in the room). Superb setting in trees and just off the Main road .own outside area with chairs , table , barbecue . Perfect for Provincetown trip ( 35 mins) and fab beach 10-15 mins drive. Superb for a couple . It’s the Best rental we have stayed in throughout all our USA trips to the Cape by loads . We will definitely be back when we visit our USA friends in the future. Thankyou Karen and Wyman - you are the best hosts even though we never met face to face.…
The Seagrove is a wonderful getaway, every bit as cute as the photos. It's been lovingly restored and meticulously maintained since changing owners a couple of years ago. Every need has been anticipated and our unit was very attractive and clean clean clean! Super convenient location near the Orleans traffic circle, but you'll feel like you're away from it all because it's pretty private. We only wish we could've stayed longer!
My wife and I were looking for a last getaway before the fall. We loved our stay at Seagrove. We arrived to a nice room. Karen sent a text with the check in procedures which was helpful. Our room was cozy but very comfortable and very clean which always seals the deal. I texted Karen about beach chairs. She could not have been nicer and went the extra mile to ensure that we had a chair for our trip to Nauset beach. I also asked for restaurant recommendations and Wyman and Karen were so helpful. We had a great dinner at the CShore restaurant. We also went to the Rock Harbor Grill. Both places were recommended by Karen and Wyman and both were very nice. We loved being on the Lower Cape and the location and had a really nice weekend. We’ll be back to Seagrove.
Our family (husband, kids 9 & 6, dog & I) visited the Seagrove earlier this week and had a wonderful time. The property was was cared for, with great attention to detail. We made use of the pool, gazebo, hammocks and yard games. You could easily assume wear and tear, or even mold/moss from the coastal environment, but no, everything was in great condition. We stayed in unit 4, the two bedroom pet friendly space, and it was incredibly clean with no hints that any other dogs preceded us. I always pack clorox wipes and lysol spray to pre-clean where we stay, but didn't feel the need to at all. The pillows, beds and linens all were super plush and very comfortable - honestly felt quite new. A weird thing to note, but it was appreciated; strong water pressure and hot-hot water. That and the hand held option made it easier to de-sand the kids after the beach. The kitchenette was just enough - we made breakfast in, packed up beach lunches, and even made simple dinners a couple times. We had rain on and off the first two days so we appreciated the space - much better then being confined to a single hotel room. They also had storage for our bikes. Check-in was seamless, and we were able to extend a day to make up for our rainy start. It was pretty centrally located - easy to both bay and ocean beaches and nearby Orleans for grocery/pharmacy shopping. We will definitely be back and are will bring family and friends with us. The property lay out is perfect for large groups to have their own space but still enjoy a vacation together. Thank you to Karen & Wyman for making such a special place.…
Our four night stay in a second floor room was comfortable and restful ... the space was small but well appointed and the king size bed was exceptional. It is clear that the owners go out of their way to keep the property in great condition, everything was spotless and well maintained. Looking forward to a return visit next summer1
I HIGHLY recommend The Seagrove when staying at the cape. This was our second stay and we were in the deluxe king suite which has a ton of room and a full kitchen. In the future this will be our accommodation of choice because we leisurely enjoyed breakfast in the room rather than rushing out each morning. The property is very well taken care of with lots of space to relax including a pool, hammocks, picnic tables, and plenty of shade. It is situated off the main highway enough to provide peace and quiet for sleeping at night. The room is super clean, they are very thorough cleaning the room for each new guest, it looked as if no one had even used the kitchen. Checking in is very convenient as you will have a code to enter the room when you arrive. It was great not having to keep track of keys the entire weekend. The Seagrove is also centrally located for sightseeing the entire cape if you want to adventure outside the local area. I always leave here relaxed and can't wait to plan our next trip!…
The owners show great care & attention to the details in their suites & on their grounds that you would expect at home. Their moniker fits the casual elegance suited so well to making a comfortable Cape experience for your family. The pool, available fresh towels, items to take to the beach, hammocks and a screened gazebo to read were great amenities. Their location is ultra convenient to mid-Cape bays & popular northern National Seashore excursions, plus other dining.
Karen and Wyman have made this place into somewhere so special-laid back and private but so comfortable and friendly. The rooms are always spotless with understated luxury. Truly the most perfect place on the cape. We continue our journey there year after year…..
We recently spent four nights at the Seagrove. We had a two-bedroom suite. It was a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were aesthetically beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and super clean! Karen and Wyman left no detail unnoticed...from the spa-like robes in the closet to the bottle opener in the kitchen drawer! The fabulous outdoor pool was my son’s favorite amenity! Thank you, Karen and Wyman! We look forward to making the Seagrove our new summer vacation spot!
First time at Cape Cod and we picked Eastham based on a friends recommendation. Picked Seagrove on location. We loved it. Great place, very clean and comfortable. Well appointed. We will stay here again and highly recommend.
