We came from Wisconsin to visit our son and his family. They have a very small home so usually we split time with them and a hotel. However, upon our arrival, both grandchildren were ill with respiratory infections. Although we were not concerned for ourselves regarding illness, the parents were very tired because of night-time care for the children. Therefore, it seemed best to not add our night-time presence to the mix. So, coming to the Hilton Garden Inn was a practical, comfortable, pleasant alternative.

I stay here for business and find it very useful. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the location is convenient to many of the areas attractions. I have stayed here approximately 5 different times and always had a good experience

I came to this hotel after my niece had a good experience here due to Donna’s customer service. I had a problem with a 3rd party reservation and Donna did everything in her power to try to correct the issue. I was promised adjoining rooms and the 3rd party company assured me that the hotel had availability. Upon getting to the hotel, I was told that there were none available. Although she was not able to accommodate my problem, she was able to give me a bigger room with a cot, which made the situation more tolerable. She also provided us with free breakfast tickets to compensate for the inconvenience. However, it was her sincerity in wanting to help the situation and her kind words that took some stress out of a stressful situation. I would return to the hotel because of her excellent customer service. I would advise to contact the hotel directly to make reservations.

We were booked to stay for a hockey tournament which was cancelled at the last minute due to the corona virus pandemic. We tried to cancel the day prior to arrival and the local management refused to follow the Hilton’s policy during this time, of allowing cancellations outside of 24 hrs. The sales manager was extremely rude and would not even follow the cancellation process contained within our booking confirmation. Other teams staying at other local hotels had no problem canceling and waiving the cancellation fee. Our booking agent had to go above the property management (even the properties GM refused to refund the fees) to the parenting lodging management company to get our cancellation fee refunded.

I rarely write hotel reviews but felt compelled to so others could benefit. This was the first time we traveled since the pandemic and I was very concerned about cleanliness re: COVID. I was SO pleased. We disinfected when we got there to be extra-careful and every place we wiped was already VERY clean (no dust, stains or residue). That helped me to feel very safe staying there. The room was pretty spacious and had nice nooks for us to put our suitcases and move around comfortably. The staff we spoke to were friendly and some, even perky! :) Our room was quiet as well. Overall we were quite pleased and this hotel will be my number one pick the next time we are in the area!

Pretty good hotel. I’ve stayed here many times The beds are comfy, the pillows are good. The water pressure is consistent (important to me) I’m a diamond member so breakfast is included. If it wasnt, it’s pretty pricey and I would probably pass.
That’s actually My main complaint about this hotel- the breakfast cook. He does not know how to make eggs and served me cold yolked eggs two times this week. Jacki the breakfast waitress is absolutely awesome and is every single time I stay here. The customer service at the front desk is pretty good as well- haven’t ran into anyone who isn’t polite and helpful.
I will be back.

First impressions matter because you’re often not given a second chance to make it right.
This was my first time staying at this property and it was let’s just say a rough start. When I booked the room and checked in via the app it did not allow me to select a room the hotel just assigned me what they wanted. I booked a king. So upon arrival I enter the hotel I was not greeted as the agent was not behind the desk but instead over in like the breakfast area folding linen. So I had my digital key already so I went directly to my room #408 I opened the door and it’s a double bed. So I have to walk back down stairs and let the agent know I booked a King and was assigned by hotel a double. Still once she did look up my information to change rooms she still failed to welcome me as a Diamond member or to give water. She found me another room 430 and sent me the digital key; I go back upstairs and get to the room and the digital key will not work. So still with food and luggage in hand I go back downstairs to now get a hard key. The agent gives me a hard key and I go back upstairs and when I opened the door I see that the room was dirty as if someone just checked out the bed was filthy as I took pictures to show the agent at the desk. So at this point I’m making my third trip back to the desk to complain of the issue and show the agent the pictures I took of the filthy room. She gives me another room #307 I go back up and lucky the key worked. Don’t know if it’s a local hotel thing but all of the drawers were left open as well as they microwave door. I e stayed at quite a few properties during this COVID-19 situation but this was the first whereas the agent didn’t go over breakfast even though all properties I’ve stayed at didn’t offer it due to COVID but still informed me, she didn’t asked if I stayed here before or anything. Just all around failure. Never again.
Management response was basically sorry for the inconvenience, if something isn’t right let a team member know and they will get it right guaranteed.
I let them know and they failed to get it right a few times.

This property was meant for the traveler that arrives late at night. They took care of my family by having their keys pre-made upon their arrival. I appreciate the overnight staff memeber. He was very accomedating and provided the best service I have received in a while, please do not hold back any great accolades for this person because I do not recall his name. He needs all incentives for just being great.

Hotel was clean. Front desk staff was curt and dismissive until they realized I was a Diamond member. Breakfast would have been fine if it were free but who the heck charges $6 for continental breakfast and $9 for made to order food? I also got attitude from the person overseeing breakfast when I only left a $2 tip. Sorry, I was a bit taken back by being handed a $14 bill after my son and I ate a yogurt, grapefruit and toast.

Upon arrival late at night, things seemed good. We drove 9 hours to attend a family funeral today. We left the room at 9:30am, and when we returned around 3, the room had not been cleaned. Fine, we can deal with that. So then we take our daughter down to the pool so she could burn off some energy after the long drive and a long funeral. The pool is closed! It’s been closed for at least a few days but there is nothing indicating that online nor when you check in.
We are a loyal Hilton family, and I spend hours researching hotels for our trips. We always book where there is a pool for our child. We would not have booked here had we known the pool wasn’t working.
When I asked at the desk whether housekeeping was still working their way through the rooms, the front desk attendant looked into it and said that our Do Not Disturb was on the door. That sign was removed at 9:30am when we left for the funeral. I removed it and placed it inside the room after looking at both sides to confirm that one side didn’t say “please clean our room” or something to that effect. So if you don’t remove the Do Not Disturb before 9:30 your room doesn’t get cleaned? Housekeeping doesn’t circle back to check on rooms later in the morning? Absurd. All we need is fresh towels so it’s ridiculous that we can’t get them if we don’t leave the room before 9:30.
One big positive in the room is a window shade instead of the foolish curtains most hotel rooms have. I was pleasantly surprised to see this…all hotels should do away with curtains that don’t properly close and install these shades instead.
