It was a delightful experience. We had an amazing time there. Our experience has started in parking lot as soon as we park the car. Check in was flawless, cookies and warm welcoming made a huge difference. Staff are so professional and helpful. They anticipate your needs and exceed your expectation. Room was spotless, housekeeping team done a great job. Everyone we come across smiled and ask how was our stay!!!!! It is hard to find genuine service.

For someone who spent hours on the road and actually needing a good night’s sleep, I was not happy with not being allowed a late check out knowing rooms were available. I asked for an extra 2 hours and was refused. Don’t think I’ll be staying here again. And as an honors member, where is the honor?

Our room was neat, clean, and equipped as advertised. The AC kept us comfortable but it was too loud.

The hotel was normal for its price range.

Be aware:

Pool hours end at 8 pm.
Reservations for the pool are limited and required but it gets booked up.

Breakfast is $15 per person and the quality is like a breakfast buffet in other hotels in this price range.

The hotel is in an area that serves attendees at FedEx Field and at peak times the hotel, all nearby services, and parking could be overwhelmed.

After a long day traveling across the country and then battling DC traffic I arrived at a hotel that was basically shut down. Management should really do a better job of informing guests that the restaurant will be closed during the stay. The app AND website both listed “on-site restaurants” among the amenities that would be available at the hotel. Had they been honest I could have at least stopped along the way instead of having to go back out after a long day of traveling. there is nothing walkable, by the way. Breakfast is available with a self-service “Super 8” type vibe for 15 dollars if you’re desperate or pressed for time. Aside from all this the hotel is pretty beat-up and there is not much attention to upkeep or cleanliness. On my floor, for example, there were bags of garbage and dirty linens strewn about for more than 24 hours which was just disgusting. I also noticed some interesting characters loitering around the parking lot which perhaps explains the reinforced steel plates installed on the guest rooms doors. I would avoid this place at all costs especially if traveling with children.

Moldy smelling room. Accused my children of lying about the pool. However, they are the liars because when we booked our rooms over 40 it was implied the pool was easily accessible. You have to make an appointment and you can only stay for 1 hour. In addition, we were advised our participants who stayed at either the Homewood or Doubletree should have no issue accessing the pool. It was all a lie.. the elevator stop working completely and I had to walk to the 6th floor.

I will give this hotel a 1 star. If you are looking to spend a pretty penny and unsanitary hotel do not come here you have to purchase everything the wifi was $10 an hour; $20 per day and $70 per week. The receptionist at the front desk was rude, me and my husband booked for 2 night stay and the morning of our second night we wanted to changed the bed sheets the receptionist claimed that housekeeping was gone for the day and they can not change the bed sheets unless you are staying a full 5 nights which is nasty and very unsanitary. So my husband asked for the bed sheets and we changed them ourselves. Breakfast is not FREE. And you could only swim in the pool for 30 mins per day that’s definitely not enough time and you have to give your body at least 10-15 mins just to warm up to the pool; this was my first time booking with double tree and my LAST!

Wow, a hotel that I've stayed at so many times over the years, has now gone to the dogs. I actually feel bad writing this review, but my hope is that someone at Hilton will read this and take action. I will keep this short. 1. bathroom toilet filled up with water and poop from the previous guest. Still in the toilet! (unbelievable-I took pictures). Had to have Maintanence come and plunge the toilet. The Maintanence guy did apologize for the "mess!" 2. No toilet tissue. (were they not planning to rent the room out?) 3. Defective thermostat not working. Room freezing and AC will not turn off. (Maintanence came back and had to fix the problem at the HVAC unit itself. 4. No bath towels. Only small wash cloths. After calling the front desk, housekeeping brought towels and toilet tissue. 5. Overall unclean, dusty and worn out room. There was trash in one of the cans I guess from a previous guest. I didn't complain. I was just tired and vowed never to return again. And yes, I too am a Lifetime Diamond member. So sad.

Beware! They will not clean your room unless you’re staying three nights or more. They want you to take your dirty linen to them and you have to go to the front desk to get a bag of new linen and towels each day. Very disappointed Hilton. The rooms are old, outdated and musty. The carpet is filthy. Pass this by.

So let me start by saying the GM, Melanie Holmes, at this hotel is very rude, unprofessional and very unbecoming for her to be in a senior leadership role as a supervisor at this location! As a diamond member we stayed here for one night and the AC didn’t work. We woke up sweating after we called the front desk to complain. She stated another room was offered , we declined so all she could do was half off for the night. Why should I pack up at 12:30 and 3:30 in the morning to leave a room we checked in a king bed for a double queen??? Please keep in mind I am a diamond member and she never followed up to see how we were, anything! I called a few hours later when she arrived and asked about breakfast about 7:30 that morning, and had to bring up the AC not working to her attention. She was rude and very nasty saying I took half off and that’s all I’m doing. She never said thanks for being a diamond member and we apologize for the discomfort and inconvenience. She was more focused on being rude and what she so call did to satisfy the situation. I told her I would never stay at this hotel again but the worst part about this situation is she is a reflection on her staff and they are not happy to work for her. She has very poor leadership qualities and should not be a GM! I will definitely let everyone I know to not stay at this horrible Hilton property! She is not a good reflection of what Hilton has to offer and needs to be reprimanded about how she deals with the highest tier members Hilton has to offer. She lied to Hilton customer service and said I came down stairs yelling at her and that’s why she was rude to me, that’s a lie and the conversation was via phone! The last time I checked the customer is always right, therefore if that did happen, which it didn’t, you still should have a level of professionalism. Never for Ms. Holmes. Something needs to be done with Ms. Holmes to avoid future issues with terrible customer service and avoiding conflict with her staff/customers which is not happy at all. We all know everything rolls down hill. My suggestion please don’t stay here and patronize crazy, go to another Hilton property PLEASE!!! Will be reaching out to higher to rectify this situation!
