So - there are wildly varying reviews on this property. I'm sorry there are those that had a bad experience, but mine was perfect. To start, I was checked in at the front desk by Scott who was a kind and professional employee. This is something that has been slowly degrading at all hotels over time, but Scott is the type of employee that should be commended. He set me up with a digital key the app (which worked throughout my 3 nights), provided an Honors gift and all the information I needed for the property. My room was a king studio and it was clean and in perfect working condition. There was no bugs, mold, dirt, rips, tears, etc. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean, no stains. The kitchen appliances were all in good order, there was silverware, cups, etc. and other kitchen items (if needed). The Internet and cable worked perfectly, no issues at all. There was a decent desk chair for work with adjustable seat height (but no arm rests). I needed to print a few documents and the property business center had been removed. So Scott had me email my PDFs to the front desk email address and he printed those for me - again, he was very helpful and kind. I also used the fitness center which was one of the better ones I've seen for a "non-luxury"property. There were three treadmills, two ellipticals, two bikes, kettle bells, a "plyo box", yoga/stretching mat and a full weight center with cables, etc. The room was clean with absolutely no odor and towels were available. The breakfast was typical for a Homewood, reliable items to certainly satisfy at the start of the day. I was there for the Wednesday evening manager's reception - there was salad, fruit/cheese and a couple of items, plus a dessert. Again, what would be expected at this point. Across the busy road is basically every type of store/food you could need (Wegmans, CFA, Cava, etc etc). If the weather was nicer I would have walked outside - the business park area has extensive sidewalks. I expect to have work in this area over the next several months and this will be my choice of property, if available.

This property is in the back of a lot with two other hotels, and up the street from PG county offices. At a light up the street is a Wegmans, and some eateries. So on that note, not a bad location that's right off of the highway, and under a mile from the Redskins stadium. With all of that - THIS property is a quiet oasis. Each staffer we encountered was pleasant and clearly demonstrating the leadership value of quality and service to all guests. The gym is tucked away on the first floor, but nicely equipped. There is a side door to the patio area that has nice seating area and a grill too. Each room has full size fridge, plates, tea, mugs, and a stove & microwave. Breakfast was served daily, and the chef would frequent the lounge area to "see" us enjoy the meal. The pancakes and grits - OMG!!! It rained some during our stay which caused the satellite to go in and out a bit. For about 10 minutes - ALL OF THE POWER went out one morning. Working remotely, I was concerned, but it was restored. The shower area was nice too. Overnight there was a member of security that drove the parking lot repeatedly which further led to us feeling safe on this measure Homewood Suites took. We WILL stay here again if in the area.

What a great Homewood Suites. We arrived on a Wednesday and was not very excited about what the Evening Manager Reception would be serving for food. At other locations we have had a great meal to just crackers and cheese. The food selection was very good and it was tasty. There is a young man who takes care of the breakfast service and everyday we were there he was working hard to make everyone happy, sorry I didn't get his name. All the employees were so friendly and always had a smile. The parking is easy to navigate and even larger pick-up trucks and Semi's had plenty of room. Costco is just about a 5 minute drive across the street. The highways are close and as long as your room doesn't face the highway you should have a quiet nights sleep.

We’ve stayed at many Homewood Suites by Hilton properties, but our recent experience at the Largo, MD location was deeply disappointing. We stopped here for one night to rest on our way home from Florida, but the condition of our suite was unacceptable. While the beds were made, it seemed that was the only effort from housekeeping. The floors were filthy—so much so that we couldn’t walk barefoot. Basic amenities like shower soap, tissues, and extra bed linens were not restocked. The furniture was outdated and stained, and to make matters worse, we discovered trash under the bedroom chair. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Even the couch in the lobby was ripped, which set the tone for the lack of care throughout the property. We were exhausted and managed to take a quick shower and get some sleep, but we chose to skip breakfast entirely—we simply couldn’t trust the food hygiene after seeing the state of the room. While we don’t expect luxury, cleanliness and basic upkeep should be standard—especially given the rates this hotel charges. After reading other reviews, it’s evident that cleanliness is a recurring problem at this location. Hilton should address these issues immediately with stricter housekeeping protocols and better maintenance oversight. Sadly, we cannot recommend this property to anyone.

My family and I went to Six Flags Christmas event and we spent the night at this hotel. The hotel was decorated very pretty and Christmassy for the holidays. The property seems pretty new. All the décor complimented each other well from the lobby to the rooms. The rooms are very spacious and the beds were comfortable. However, after walking in the amusement park for several hours, the bed was a welcome relief and did not disappoint. There are plenty of food places close by to grab a bite to eat. Due to COVID, there was no buffet breakfast but I did appreciate the "grab and go" selection which included individually wrapped bagels with cream cheese, individually wrapped muffins, breakfast bars, oranges, bottled juice, bottled water, variety of yogurt, coffee, co co, milk and small cereal boxes just to name a few. These grab and go items were needed for the 3 1.2 hour ride home to tie us over.
I did appreciate that I had ask for extra towels in my room prior to my arrival and I was happy to see them there when we entered the room. My only issue is that it didn't seem like they have anyone to assist with housekeeping at night time. Staff seemed limited. We needed an extra blanket. Unfortunately, my husband had to go to the front desk and get it (luckily he hadn't taken his shower like I had because he would have been :Mr grumpy bear" having to go down to the front) desk. I also noticed the room didn't get as warm as I had liked. It was brutally bitter cold and the thermostat only went to 76. 76 sounds high and hot but it felt really cool in the room. Luckily, I had an electric blanket in the car that was brought up earlier but I only had one and it was 5 of us in the room including a toddler.
All in all, the hotel is really nice and looks really clean in the high traffic areas. It's also in a nice area of town and well lit. I would stay again and I would also recommend this hotel.

My family stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton Largo Washington in July 2022 for our family reunion. The hotel was a beautiful place but the customer service was terrible. The staff were rude, not very people friendly. As being paid customers my family was told not to sit in the lobby of the hotel. There were no signs noting no such thing. The two young ladies that worked the entire 4th of July weekend had a very nasty attitude.
Our rooms stayed dirty the entire weekend. because house keeping never came to clean the rooms. There were signs that say upon request your room will be clean. After putting in a request the rooms were not clean, garbage over flowing, no clean towels. Also the hotel complimentary breakfast was not good nor did they have enough food. Each day they ran out of food on our last day breakfast was closed 1 hour early. If Homewood Suites by Hilton Largo Washington can’t accommodate large groups they shouldn’t mislead people.
The behavior that was shown by the staff is unacceptable. My family paid a lot of money to stay at Homewood Suites. No one as paying customers should be treated in such a way.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The need to sanitize the rooms to eliminate the order and to aid with the bugs. Front desk staff need to be more friendlier, be able too control the situations that may occur such as; door slamming, dogs barking, lord noises after hours in the hallways.

Visiting in the area and staying with family and I decided to treat myself and move to the Homewood for the last 2 days.
Highlights of the stay include the decor of the rooms and facility, the friendliness of staff and the cleanliness of the rooms.
The downsides include the amount of trash left in hallways. I surmise this is because rooms are cleaned upon request and guests don’t want the trash in their room (the hotel needs to sweep through and pick up the trash). The last and most important is the temp of the rooms. The temp is set at 75. I tried to change and this would not go down. I read in another review they had the same issue with no resolve so I didn’t report because it was late at night. If in the area and the temp issue is not mentioned in future reviews I would stay here again...

All the staff at the front desk were first class! I stayed for 9 days and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. Being military retired I have stayed in numerous but this location was top 10 I would highly recommend if you’re going to be in this area.

I travel for business and always try to stay HWS. This location was not up to Hilton standards which honestly keep decreasing. Number one if you like to control the A/C in your room it will only go down to 68. Heatwave during my stay. The floor was not vacuumed before my stay and was disgusting. The bathroom floor was dirty in the corners. The fitted sheet would not stay on the mattress. The safety plug in bathroom not functioning and thank goodness a plug on a lamp next to sink for hairdryer. The light in the kitchen dining area not working. I am a Hilton Diamond member and have stayed 136 nights this year in a Hilton property.
