This was my first time staying at the hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. At check-in, there was an issue and the woman at the front desk and manager were really apologetic and got me situated quickly. It was great customer service.
The room is spacious and bed comfortable. I had a good stay.

This was our first time staying at this property. Oddly one of the few Staybridge without a swimming pool. They were pretty busy, they were able to upgrade us to the 2 bedroom suite which was very much appreciated.
For a first floor room it was amazingly quiet. I was expecting to hear the room above us but it was quiet. Did not even hear hall traffic, I'm assuming because the room are set back into the far side of the suite.
Room was clean and comfortable. The only complaints I have is while the soap dispensers are good in theory we've been having issues with the conditioners not dispensing in several of the IHG properties. Today the shampoo was filled with water so you just got some soapy water to shampoo with and barley any conditioner. The shower gel worked so I guess 1 out of 3 isn't bad.
Breakfast was the normal setup. The coffee was empty and I wish they would offer more sugar free or low carb options.

This was a great spot to stay at! It was close to family for our Thanksgiving visit in 2019. The exterior and interior of the hotel was nicely maintained. The buffet breakfast was a hit for the kids and prevented us from that annoying daily breakfast expense while on vacation. There is a grocery store just around the corner from the hotel so you can stock up and spend money on something else since there is a full kitchen in the suites. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite where the king bedroom/bath was on one side, living/kitchen rooms in the center and the 2 queen/bath was on the opposite side. This was great and spacious for everyone. There is even a pullout couch in the living room. Great place; great stay!

This is BY FAR the worst hotel experience of my life. If you want a hotel that doesn’t care about your health during the pandemic go ahead and choose this one. I spoke on the phone with guest services at the front desk yesterday and they specifically told me it was fine to stay until 2pm instead of the regular check out time. On the day of checkout I had several employees knocking on the door asking me about my checkout time and then they kept knocking on the door to tell me that I had to leave at 12 when I was told I could leave at 2pm. Here’s the thing, for three of those door knocks, I opened the door and the employees were wearing their mask on their chins talking directly at me without their faces or nose covered during the pandemic. Then when I called the front desk again they said I had to leave or pay for an extra night. I had explained I’d have to wait outside for 2 hours to get picked up as I do not live in this state. Absolutely obnoxious. Do yourself a favor and go with a hotel that has a staff that cares about your health instead of putting you in a position where you could be exposed to the virus. Zero stars. Never again.

I made reservations for family and I for fathers day weekend arriving 6/19/21, I received a check in email from the hotel on 6/18/21 as to ETA and I selected after midnight Saturday night/Sunday morning because we had an event in nyc Saturday night and I had no problem paying for Saturday night. I've done this at other hotels and they'd usually contact me to confirm that I was coming and all was well.Upon arrival after 6am sunday morning I was informed by the lady that my reservation was canceled, I never received an email, call,or text from the hotel/ihg in regards to this. The lady then informed me that they had no rooms available for my family and I and she couldn't do anything to help us.I called ihg customer service and the rep was trying to assist but she couldn't comprehend that we needed a room asap. She proceeded to inform me that she got me a room that'll be available 3pm. I escalated the call to ihg guest relations and I spoke with MS Dana who immediately understood what was going on and said by no means this should have happened, while she was in the process of assisting me MS Summer who just came in to work at the hotel immediately walked up to me and kindly and professionally informed me that my room was available and sincerely apologized for all the inconvenience. Ms Dana of ihg guest relations still took all the information and I felt more comfortable once she came on the phone. Thanks to MS Summer at staybridge suites greenbelt MD for clearing up the whole dilemma. I was disappointed because I usually refer anyone traveling to the MD/DC area to this hotel and to think this happened to me on Father's Day weekend of all times with family in tow was not a good look at all. My family was very upset about the situation after we drove throughout the night expecting to get to our room and relax and enjoy Father's Day. I'm not certain if I'll be visiting this hotel much less recommending it to family and friends. As an ihg member I was very disappointed. Still I want to Thank Ms Dana and Ms Summer.

Two night stay this past weekend. $250 deposit for everyone (of course you get it back if you don't screw up the room, party and/or smoke.). Ok not a big problem with the deposit...but it won't be returned to my account/card for 4-7 days....
Hotel "suite" is very small. there is less than a feet separating the pullout bed and the main bed. Cracks in the sink, was afraid the water would leak out.
Needed linen for the pull-out sofa/bed and it took nearly an hour. The mattress was about 6 inches thin. No pillow, "because we don't have anymore."
So in the morning, I asked for an iron, because although there is a ironing table along with an rack to store the iron, there was none. I asked several times for an iron and after waiting nearly 90mins I left.
Checkout took very long, EVERY GUEST waiting to check out had something negative to say including one guest who said she had roaches in her room. When it was finally my turn for checkout, printer malfunctioned, could not get a hard copy of my receipt.

This was a extremely frustrating experience-I booked through hotels.com, got a confirmation of my reservation, with instructions to check in "after 3, before midnight". Got a MISSED call (no voicemail) at 6:51 pm. Good thing I called back instead of showing up!
The girl on the phone told me "all the rooms are taken-we have no rooms available for you" mind you, you already took the first night payment. Really?
What's the point of making a reservation? I get penalized if I cancel past the cancellation date, but the facility can cancel due to their poor planning - and I'm still penalized by the inconvenience of it all.

Clean, roomy, and conveniently located near stores! Loved the social time of hourderves Mon thru Wed. The staff was nice at checkin. Had a problem with a wasp in my room on the curtains.
They were very responsive and immediately sent a houseman to come and take care of it. I am very particular about what hotels I stay in. I would stay there again without a second thought.

I was over charged $125.00 for late check out even though I left at 10:00. I tried to talk to manager and staff and they would not return my calls. I called customer service and they were just as bad, Thank goodness for AMX who filed a claim with Staybridge and had the fee reversed. I travel a lot and this was my first and last stay with Staybridge.

Larissa at the front desk in lanham Maryland Staybridge suites has bad customer service. She was very condescending, rude, disrespectful, sarcastic and unhelpful. I would not advise saying here in regards to how I was treated. No one deserves to be treated or judged based on how they look or dress and for this reason she did. She also spoke to me as if I was illiterate and had no intelligence when I asked her questions. She needs to be trained on customer service especially if this hotel values their customers and referrals because next time I will reach out to the district manager.

Great location, not far from metro. Park at metro or Uber/Lyft to metro and go into the city.
The hotel does not offer shuttle service to nearby metro station. There are 2 within a 10-15 drive. Hope this helps. Have a good day.
Hello!
The hotel is only 15 minutes or so from Six Flags. We do not have a pool.
Looking forward to having you!
Carl Brown, GM
There is a pool and some seating. The pool is not very large though. At the least it does not get that much use. You will probably be the only one there.
