After a challenging drive, it was great to have a flawless check-in experience. The front desk staff were phenomenal, helpful, and went above and beyond to answer questions & provide assistance. The property offers complimentary parking in a well-lit parking garage with plenty of cameras. This was a definite selling point as most hotels in the DMV area have ridiculously high parking fees. The room was clean, spacious, and modern. The housekeeping staff was friendly and always offered assistance when I saw them in the common areas. Plenty of great places to eat within a short drive. I would stay here again.

College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center provides excellent customer service from beginning to end. I had the chance to visit this hotel recently and appreciated their level of service during this pandemic. The hotel opened two weeks ago from this posting, and their staff was more than appreciative and helpful during the four nights that I spent in it.

Marriott Bonvoy loyalty was valued and felt more than appreciated for it. I was able to receive an upgrade to a one bedroom suite. Even though most of the pillows were removed during my stay, the minimalist apperance of the suite worked out at the end. The bathroom's shower head was amazing, and bed was extremely comfortable.

The main building is the only only open and the conference site next door is currently closed. Even though breakfast is not being served, there is a small market place where you can get some breakfast items and they did have in room dining for dinner time. Being a college town, there are a lot of dining options available within a driveable distance and great prices as well. Also, at this point of time, University of Maryland's Global Campus has free parking available on campus until August, and one of the biggest pluses of this hotel is that parking is free and accessible 24/7.

I would recommend driving and parking on campus, while walking to a few areas on campus. Finally, I would like to thank John and the front desk team that assisted me throughout the stay. They were really friendly, and truly went above and beyond to assist during these unique times. I would definitely recommend this business hotel for a near future stay to University of Maryland or a short-term stay during the weekend.

We stayed here for a weekend competition on campus. The hotel is very nice. The staff is so friendly. Standard size rooms of a city hotel. There is a single serve coffee machine and mini fridge in the room, no microwave, but there’s one available in the lobby. We ate at The Common for breakfast. It is buffet style and adequate. It’s the same buffet everyday. The fruits are very fresh. The servers are very nice. We had no issues in service and were seated immediately. The lounge was also open on the weekdays with a nice evening fare and a small scale breakfast in the mornings. The only downside to our stay was that the room was a little dusty. We can see the dust behind the headboards, but nothing a vacuum can’t fix. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Run from this hotel. We stayed from 18 to 22 July 2024 and the front desk staff was horrible. In addition, I had to call pest control twice during the 4 night stay to remove insects from the room. The service at "The Commons" restaurant is extremely slow. It took us an average of 40-45 minutes to receive our meals. Also, this property has no pool for children traveling during the Summer months. As a result, my family and children spent most of their time at a neighboring hotel (that had a pool) to cool off in July and play with friends. This hotel is way overpriced for the experience and lackluster service. Yonni at the front desk also messed up my reservation. I requested adjoining rooms for my children. When I arrived I was told that my adjoining room was open but "down for maintenance." However, an hour later, another person checked into the room without notifying us. I am aware that adjoining rooms are not guaranteed. However, the entire front desk staff knew I had requested the room and they committed to notifying me when the room was available. No one notified us and the separation of my family into separate rooms could have been avoided with better management. When I spoke to the manager on duty, he wanted to argue with me about my reservation, instead of listening to the facts and focusing on solving the problem for the customer.

**College Park Maryland Marriott - A Comfortable and Convenient Stay**

I recently booked a block of 11 rooms at the College Park Maryland Marriott for a funeral. While our stay was primarily for a somber occasion, the hotel provided a comfortable and convenient base for our family.

Flame, Trey, and Larry Rollins at the front desk were extremely helpful and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth for most of our group. However, our experience with Tyler Rhodes was less satisfactory, as he was not helpful when my uncle and I had questions or during check-in.

Despite this, the overall experience at the hotel was very positive. The suites were spacious and provided a great space for our family to connect between the service and departure. The location was ideal, being close to where the funeral was held and my parents' house. Additionally, parking was free and easy, which added to the convenience.

I would definitely stay here again due to its proximity to my family. Having seen both the King rooms and suites, I can confidently say they are comfortable for any future stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the University of Maryland campus or the surrounding area.

We booked this Marriott as it was the recommended hotel the Host Swim team had arranged blocked rooms with. My daughter had a swim meet on campus and we were traveling from LI, NY. The host team reserved nights for Fri & Sat but we needed Thursday as well. I was charged $199 for Thursday & $129 for Fr & Sat-other families I were traveling with were charged $134 for Thurs. The room they were offering was a "Cozy King". Seriously, the room was smaller than a room on a cruise ship. There was literally nowhere to move or put anything. The bathroom was minute with no counter space or room for toiletry bags, etc. The walls were frosted glass which gives you no sound privacy & while my tired swimmer was sleeping, the lights in the frosted glass walls illuminated the whole room so that my daughter could not sleep.
I had spilled coffee on the bed sheets and the maids didn't change the sheets nor did they wipe the bathroom floors down. The ice maker on our floor didn't work and one of the elevators was out of service.
I left a pair of boots in my room and when I called to have them retrieved, they couldn't produce them. So the staff is not trustworthy. When asked to call back about the boots, they never did. So not only was I over charged for my first night, I have now lost a $200 pair of boots.I have never had such a horrible experience at a Marriott. I am due to travel in February to Florida and I am booked at a Marriott which I will be changing after this horrible experience in MD.

This was our home away from home - literally, it’s a mile from our house - for a couple weeks. We stayed here after selling our house and en route to moving to Belgium.

We stayed in a large one bedroom suite. It was perfect for us: big sofabed in the living room for our two kids, and a separate king bedroom with a sliding door. It was actually quite comfortable even for a couple weeks all together!

One of the better Marriott lounges I’ve been to. We had a full dinner there every night! There’s always a warm entree (salmon was great) a salad, sides, snacks, and drinks (alcohol was extra though). Maria was the lovely woman restocking the food and tending to everyone. She got to know our little girls well! Breakfast there was good, too.

Parking is easy in the huge detached garage, just a short walk. I think it’s included in the room rate.

The bar downstairs had some decent food, too, and a nice atmosphere. I had several friends stop by to say farewell and it was easy to just meet there.

Great place near our girls’ school to spend our final days in the USA. 😊

This property is essentially on the campus of the Univ. of Maryland. We were there Thursday thru Sunday and there were a number of University sports teams staying there who were uniformly courteous. (The Penn State Men's Rugby team was great)! This is a large facility and during Covid the restaurant was not large enough to accommodate, in a timely manner, the number of people looking for breakfast. There are a number of fast food places within a short driving distance however. I would probably not choose this facility for small children or an extended stay as the rooms are conference center sized. My only suggestion for improvement was we were not told that (because of Covid) if you wanted your room serviced you had to tell the desk at the time of check-in. We went two days and had to settle for additional towels each day. Even after the second night when we asked for servicing, it did not happen and we had to settle for towels again. We had quite a pile when we checked out! Moral, don't forget to ask for servicing when you check in during the Covid era.

Had a reservation for Saturday February 8-10 check in is at four pm but my flight got there at five am. I was traveling from California so after a almost 6 hours of flight sleepless and tired I was worry that I had to wait until 4 pm to check in, but I went to front desk and there was my trip savior Rose I asked her if she could do anything to accommodate me so I could go and rest a little and she let me check in early so I could chowder and rest after a long flight, her service with a smile what superb even at five in the morning, order some in room service on Saturday night and even tho flat bread was slightly different than what I was expecting but lady who deliver it was super nice unfortunately didn’t get her name, Sunday I decided to try their restaurant service was great but the food was even better try the crab soup on the menu and it was delicious, the burger as a main course was prepared at perfect temperature. Could not be more happier with my stay and will be considering stay there in any future trips.

Poor service for a full service hotel. No restaurant but blame Covid on that. No complimentary breakfast or even coffee. $1 for a cup of pod coffee? $6 for a mini box of cereal. Want a banana? $2. You'll get more amenities at the local Motel 6. This does nothing but annoy the people who are paying more for a full service hotel.
