Decided on booking this hotel for a 4 day weekend “staycation” getaway for my family since the location was less than a half hour from Six Flags America. Upon arrival we noticed a shopping center across the street from the hotel as well as ample parking that was tucked away on the lower level of the large parking lot that wrapped around the hotel building. The concierge was friendly and accommodating and we were checked in after the usual $100 deposit was charged. We were situated on the 5th floor which is not my forte but with 3 elevators at the main floor and our room being steps away from each it wasn’t an issue if let’s say you were in need of moving a good portion of your belongings upstairs. We had a two bed suite with fresh linens and towels aplenty in the bathroom along with the usual hotel branded toiletry/hygiene items. Being that we’re in late June of 2021 as of this writing the air conditioning unit was already on and blasting a nice cold stream of air to keep the room comfortable. All in all first impressions were adequate. The issues came when we were constantly pushed to contact the concierge due to a door access issue each and practically EVERYTIME we attempted to swipe into our suite. I’m not very serious when it comes to small petty problems like this but for this to occur everytime we tried to access our suite it became pretty annoying because we would have to wait for the maintenance team to come to our floor and manually unlock our door each time. After the first 3 times we expressed concern but were met with, “we’ll take note of it” or “your card was probably exposed to a magnet” or “the battery of the door knob is running low”. Overall it could have been handled a little more professionally like let’s say having us move to another suite without any door access issues or to actively have maintenance take care of the issue directly. Another problem we encounter was two days into our stay our card was charged another $200+ without any notice. Upon immediate contact to the hotel staff we were assured that this was a mistake by the night shift staff leaving the card information on charge throughout the last two days. This is unacceptable, even though the staff member assured us that the charge would be refunded in 2-3 business days. I have considered not returning to this Wyndham location because of this issue. So for this I would have to knock several stars off my rating for an otherwise mostly pleasant experience.

We're sorry and apologize for your unexpected experiences, You are right, the lock situation could have been better managed and your example would have been perfect solution but clearly dropped the ball. We're are still faced with limited resources and staff during a painfully slow travel recovery in the aftermath of the pandemic. That said, we are in communications with the operations team for a unified effort on improvements, especially with locks. We do however, look forward to accommodating you on your next visit to the area for a better stay and opportunity to earn a much better review.

Google ratings of 2.6 really doesn’t give justice to this hotel. We booked a couple of rooms here and it was really good. Other hotels costed us around 160-170$ per night and this one was just about 108$ ! We were almost getting 2 nights stay for the cost of one night in other hotels . Room size was also good. It was about 330 sq ft, whereas other hotels were about 240 sq ft .
Hotel had swimming pool listed but it was closed . Wish they remove that online and inform this before someone books . No free breakfasts , but it’s fine . Most of the hotels done provide free BF these days . Hotel looked clean and most of the employees were following covid guidelines . Nice parking outside . Lots of other restaurants nearby . Overall a very good experience… 👍👍👍

This is my first time staying at the hotel and based on this experience, I know that I will be back. The check in process was a breeze. The lobby is very warm, inviting and welcoming. I arrived around 7pm and was informed that the lounge is providing snacks. I got in and had a few small sliders for dinner. Sweet! Overall, I think the property needs a bit of face lifting here and there. I can see signs of wear and tear in my room but that all can be accepted based on the price I paid. The place is still clean and safe enough for me to stay. I really will come back in the future if the price is right!

I had the worst stay I've ever had at any hotel ever. I booked the Wyndham because it was located across the street from my wedding venue, but I wish I booked elsewhere. I booked 2 rooms for the bridal party to get ready in, and upon arrival one of the rooms was trashed, champagne and juice bottles on the dresser, trash full and on the counter, dirty towels in the bathroom. Needless to say, the room was not cleaned before I was given a key to it. I wasn’t too upset, as I understand this happens sometimes, but when I looked at my other room, it was filthy. It was “cleaned” but not up to the standard it should be. There was dirt and trash on the carpet(which was stained and disgusting), there was hair and dirt on the bed, and old rose petals underneath the bed. The couch was supposed to have a pullout, but that was broken. Because of this, my bridesmaid booked another executive suite, and when she got the key, they downgraded her room without telling her because “there were no available clean rooms”. The room they gave her had semen on the sheets and pubic hair in the shower. The one room that I booked that was never cleaned still wasn’t when I returned later that evening so they moved us to another room which was still filthy. At this point it was after midnight and I had my WEDDING that I needed to get at least some sleep for. Since one of the rooms had biohazards, my bridesmaids had to take the mattress off the broken pullout, and sleep on the FLOOR. This was incredibly embarrassing. I also had to purchase sheets from a nearby store to cover the filthy sheets on all of the beds. The next day, we tried to speak with the manager (Amet) and he said he would have new rooms ready when I came back from my wedding, which he didn’t. There wasn’t so much as a note for the night clerk. We were then moved to the apparently newly renovated 9th floor for our last few hours of our stay, which was like a completely different hotel. I know the hotel was aware that I booked rooms there for my wedding, as I had visited a few days prior to my reservation and mentioned that. Why wasn’t my bridal party put in a newly renovated room? Why was my wedding weekend 10000x more stressful than it needed to be because your hotel failed to meet even the minimum standards? Why am I paying $600+ for rooms that are worse than the motel 6? I am appalled by this hotel, and I tried contacting management AND corporate and both refuse to respond to me on the matter.

The recent reviews are true. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place is bad...king bed is like a taco, heater-ac unit rattles and vibrates the whole room. Worst of all the front desk person was very rude, didn't answer questions and didn't answer the phone on the second call to complain that the TV didn't work. (At 11:00pm since no one showed from 9:30 pm complaint), to top it off they charged an additional $100 security deposit. Hopefully the restaurant will give us a better opinion but so far other a larger than usual space and clean....there are not many positives.

Do not waste your money on this place like I did! Stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding nearby. This hotel is very old and extremely outdated. Nothing works, the keys didn't work, cable didn't work, the elevator didn't work and this place is literally falling apart. Everywhere we looked the wallpaper is falling off the wall, pieces of the ceiling were coming down. Website states that there is a business center (which I needed to use) well that is not true, there is no business center. I didn't see anything this hotel had to offer. It is nothing new for hotels to place a hold for incidentals but this was the first time the hold was more than the cost of the room! We had several people stay at this hotel and we all checked out early to get away from this place!

I recommend never staying in this hotel. only one elevator was in service. the coffee maker in our room didn't work, also there was a coffee filter left in the coffee maker, The were repairs taking place throughout the hotel. I also believe that possibly there are occupants that live or rent out space in the hotel. An absolute disaster. I strongly dissuade staying in this hotel

Hotel need lots of improvement, This was the worst hotel experience I ever had. Nothing works including the ice machines, the iron in our room; I went to the front desk and told them that the iron was not working and no one made any effort to replace it, went for coffee and there were no cups, the luggage carts wheels were flat. We were there to celebrate our son's wedding but the hotel was so horrible we could not wait to get out of there. Our daughter and her family had to change their room and the second room was not much better than the first.

Broken and frankly scary elevators held together with literal ducktape. Gum on our room door handle. Holes in bathroom wall to see pipes and wires. Water poured out of sink handles when turning on. Harassed by staff when we were approved of 11:30 AM check out time then told they had no record if us being told we could have that check out time. Awful expense and worth no one's time or money. Stay elsewhere.

The staff was very sweet and pleasant. The bed was super soft. The air conditioning was on point. We had to move room bc the 1st room had a HUGE wet spot on the floor (carpet). The 2nd room we stayed in the carpet was sticky and stained. The room smelled of must. The bathroom had mold. The paint was peeling off the walls and dropping everywhere. No fridge/ microwave. Only half the elevators worked. Ice machine did not work. The hotel gave the feel of being to held together by a bandaid
