This place is cozy. Not that much of facilities however if you’re in for a night’s rest, this place is my most recommended. We were here when typhoon Tisoy rammed the town of Dingalan. Electricity was out all night long, the Inn Owner and her staff compromised and kind enough to give us discount due to the electricity outage. They are even generous enough to offer us free breakfast the next day even if it was not included in our room package.

Simple and clean room. Beds are comfortable to sleep on, no television and poor wifi connection. But what I heard is this hotel is the best accommodation you can get around the area. There’s nothing to do left especially at night. We had our dinner to a Cafeteria about 500 meters away from the Inn. I love the breakfast though, sobrang dami ng hinapag sa amin. Bacon, eggs, dried fish, fried rice, juice coffee, chocolate milk and personalized bottled water. Staff were also accommodating.

We were supposed to be staying at Shalom overnight but due to miscommunication, we then decided to just stay at Fil Dane Inn. It's raining and we're really tired due to long travel from Manila. We arrived at the hotel at around 9pm. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We ask them if they still have an available room and they gave us the room at the 2ndfloor located near the restobar (i think) at P 1,700.00/night. The room and bathroom are clean with basic toiletries (shampoo, soap, towels, tissue). They provided us a 2 bottled water and even gave us hot water for our cup noodles (since we haven't eaten anything since lunch). So if you are looking for a budget hotel/lodging, Fil Dane Inn is the place to be... We'll definitely go back! For the tour guide, we also highly recommend Kuya Jeff Tipon-Tipon (0948-4098651) Tatay Edgar Tipon-Tipon (0946-059-7874) Tatay Edgar is our guide, he's friendly, accommodating, funny and really helpful in everything. From arranging the boat, driving his tricycle and accompanying us in the market to buy our food for overnight and always checking us out if we are ok and enjoying our stay.

Quiet, comfortable place to stay at Dingalan. Walking distance to the municipal center of Dingalan where you can find food stalls, stores, and a pasalubong center. Unfortunately, there was no cook during our stay so we were not able to try their food. Nice and accommodating staff.

Fil Dane Inn is the place to be if you happen to consider visiting the quaint town of Dingalan, Aurora. It is just a walking distance from the Dingalan Transportation Terminal, hence there is no need to ride a tricycle upon arriving at the town. It is also near different establishments such as the Public Market, Tourist Information Center, and Catholic Church, among others. The check-in process was a breeze and the staff will politely attend to your needs and answer all your questions. The rooms are spacious and clean, there's an airconditioning unit and a water heater for the shower. They also provide basic toiletries. It was so homey that you would just want to chill in your room but there's so much to see in Dingalan. Fil Dane Inn also provides a guided tour for a fee and they have an in-house accredited guide (Kuya Bong Mariano, the best guide in Dingalan!) who will take you to the most beautiful spots in Dingalan. What I liked about their tour is that you will be taken to off-the-beaten paths which is not popular to tourists. The best thing about my tour is having the Matawe Rock Formation and the beach by myself and having the chance to interact with the Dumagat people, the indigenous people of Dingalan. Fil Dane Inn is located in a quiet area that's why you need not to worry about having a peaceful stay. They serve complete plated breakfast of your choice. For those who always look forward to having some bacon and eggs for breakfast, I'm happy to tell you that Fil Dane Inn serves one. :) For your other meals, there are several eateries and restaurants just by the marketplace. My stay at Fil Dane Inn basically completed my Dingalan nature trip because it provided me the kind of relaxation I needed. Dingalan is a town very accessible from Metro Manila, and I would consider going back again and again, and will still choose to stay at Fil Dane Inn.

If you’re looking for a place that you can comfortably sleep and rest, near to the market and terminal, near to all tourist spot then this Inn is the perfect place for you. And to add on they also recommend a tourist guide named BONG to assist us roam around the area and we really enjoyed trekking to the light house and swimming to the fresh natural falls of Tanawan which is really enchanting. Definitely we’ll come again next time.

If you look for a place to stay in Dingalan, the first thing that will come up in Google is Fil Dane Inn. I was surprised as there are heaps of lodging to stay! Probably the owners of Fil Dane Inn has the ability and the budget to set up a website etc... What I don't like was there's an insufficient supply of water. At night, we had no water at all and had to ask the owner to turn the pump on! (Unbelievable) Not worthy for budget travelers/backpackers. Also, they have a bar so if you want to sleep early, note that you can't do it all...

After our tiring 4x4 adventure, we arrived at Fil Dane and we were welcomed with smiles. The owners and staff were all friendly and we got our room right away even we arrived at night already. The place is so quiet especially at night. Breakfast was also amazing and we enjoyed all of it. We will definitely return to Fil Dane.

I've been to Dingalan a couple of times for my work and I've stayed in Fil Dane Inn since I discovered it. Nice staff and very friendly owner. The rooms are clean and air-conditioned. They have rooms for 2 and 3 (plus one extra bed for an additional person). They are kind of strict with the maximum number of occupants per room. They provide shampoo, soap, tissue, towels, shower heater and bottled water. There is a newly opened bar inside the compound. There is music and booze- perfect way to spend the night after your tour in Dingalan. Parking is free of charge.

The best thing I liked about this lodging is, they prioritize customer experience over money and trust me, it's difficult to find such place when you are traveling to places that are touristy where they ask a penny for every lightest service that they could offer. The manager and their staff ensure that you enjoy Dingalan at its best without spending a lot. They provide guides that are properly trained and have the knowledge to share some trivial facts, places that you can't find online and only known to locals. They are so accommodating that they made adjustments for our needs. The rooms are quite comfortable and properly air-conditioned. I'd like to thank Lei and Peter for our wonderful stay. Can't wait to go back :) -AK
