We were looking for a safe and relaxing getaway from several months at home. Cedar Crest Inn fit our need. Wonderful historic property with plenty of space room for our dog (Rosie), fresh air and a veranda for outdoor breakfast and relaxing. The staff was well trained in the new Covid-19 safety standards, the rooms and facilities were clean and distancing was not an issue. They just purchased a new sanitation machine from Ecolabs which will be delivered tomorrow that will completely disinfect the entire room after each stay with a 24 timeframe between guest visits. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was outstanding. Thank you for making our get away such a success. We needed it and look forward to visiting again soon.

Stayed here for a night before a local medical appointment. I loved this charming old-style motel court, with its refreshing pool and lovely gardens! The room was updated and clean, with none of the musty smell that an older motel can sometimes have. In classic motel court style, there were two chairs and a little table just outside the room, where we sat for an evening cocktail and appetizer. Others were doing the same. We also enjoyed a late-afternoon swim in the sparkling-clean, warm, EMPTY pool. Others were playing a lawn game of some type out behind the pool. The owner was out watering the gardens, and his cute dog wandered over to say hello. The beds were comfortable; the shower was strong. We strolled to town for a lovely dinner outdoors overlooking a wharf. The motel was dead quiet, though there were many cars there, when we returned around 9 pm. I never heard another sound until morning. There was a continental breakfast with lots of fruit choices, plus bagels and English muffins.

This hotel is lovely. It is an older building that is impeccably maintained. Dmitry, the lady at checkin and everyone we encountered was friendly and accommodating. Our king size suite was huge and absolutely spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect. To top it off they served warm cookies and coffee was so good I actually went back to find out the maker of it. ( it was carabasset coffee company by the way. :)

This is a basic motel, with a dinner restaurant on premises but run separately from the motel. Effective heater/AC unit, really nice toiletries and other thoughtful touches. Double beds seemed narrow. There is a Hannaford's supermarket around a mile up the road.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Camden Maine. The location of the Cedar Crest Inn was convenient – a short walk to the downtown harbor. We were reasonable driving distance to Mt Battie, Stockton Springs, Searsport, Belfast Harbor, Rockport, Rockland, and St George. Lighthouse hopping, we visited Rockland Breakwater, Owls Head, Curtis Island, Indian Island, Fort Point and Marshall Light. July 4 fireworks on the harbor was great and we had the bonus of seeing the Annual Great Schooner Race. And many breweries: Sea Dog, Marshall Wharf, Liberator. The Cedar Crest team, Dave and Dmitry were very friendly during our week. I enjoyed our morning chats over coffee. I hope the best for the Inn in the future.

This is Old School Retro Motor Lodge territory. So, just understand what you're signing up for. It's spotlessly clean. It's an old building, but it's renovated. People, they hand you an actual KEY. On a brass fob. Very cool. You are seriously going to walk back in time. Is this everyone's cup of tea? No. But, take a chance and experience what your grandparents/great grandparents might have enjoyed on a road trip with the family. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is small and could use further updates. The Innkeepers are quite personable. The location is very close to town. The rooms need more lighting, but that's my only real complaint. They do not offer complimentary breakfast, but there is coffee and tea in the lobby. If you're lucky enough to be here on a weekend they are located right next door to The Place Bakery. Holy. Cow. There is a pool and some picnic tables scattered about. There is also a huge green lawn that a couple of kids were having a grand time enjoying. Parking is plentiful.

the room was clean and the reception (Dmitri) was very friendly. good water pressure in the shower. The A/C unit was incredibly noisy so we had to turn it off for the night so it wasn't the best night's sleep as it was hot! At least this won't be a problem for too much longer.

There is a fabulous bakery next door where you can purchase great baked goods for breakfast.

Off season visit to Maine. Motel was set back off the road. Restaurant on the property was closed, due to staffing issues, just like everywhere else. The room was clean, but very outdated. Mattress was comfy.
Only spent one night. Not sure I’d stay again.

A reasonably priced, mid-century motel kind of place with surprisingly comfortable beds. The staff was great and the pool was much appreciated during the very warm days we were there. Only suggestion - they ought to provide at least a light continental breakfast.

This place is exactly as advertised. Very clean and neat. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. The price was reasonable especially in this area on the weekend. We would definitely go back if in the Camden area. It was an easy walk into town but if you have mobility issues it is an uphill return, less than a mile. Very nice walk into town for breakfast on a sidewalk. Did I mention Clean? It sure is
