Detailed Reviews
My friend recently had her wedding reception at this place, sadly they don't have any sort of security as outsiders can easily come in and out of the place and the staff are clueless or they just don't care. Some members of the wedding suppliers and family members lost a Laptop, cellphones, atm and cash -- total value of 90K. No consideration by management or what so ever, they even charge the additional aircon used in the conference room for 500 pesos. When you check in, you'll have to hunt for the staff to request for towels, kettle and even rags. Really small rooms, if you're coming from a far, it is not worth the drive. I will not be coming back here.

+1
We had our private wedding here, and we rented their pool and garden area for this wonderful event of ours.
The place is far from the highway and located inside of the Barangay road, however, it is easy to locate even if you’re not from Bulacan as the resort is available on Waze and other map apps.
The place is quiet as it is far from the busy roads of Calumpit. They have a good garden with a pool and spa. They have good rooms too with a balcony; above all this is a good place for relaxation with your family.
You can always bring food and drinks and they don’t charge corkage. They don’t have an in-house restaurant, and good restaurants are far from this place. Breakfast is included in the room rate; being served either in their lobby or at your balcony.
Security will never be an issue — we are Bulakenyos and we know that.
We will surely come back!

This is the worst place I’ve stayed so far. They gave
Me a towel with a big hole on it. Breakfast is a half of the bangus the tail part and saw the workers eating the head part nice. Giving us the bad part really. I would not recommend this place. It had its good years it’s a rundown resort I would say a rundown motel. It’s really bad really really bad.

Searching for a nice and quiet place to relax outside Metro Manila, I came across "Lawiswis Kawayan Garden Resort & Spa" in the Internet prior to departure from the U.S. The presentation of the place by way of splendid description accompanied by beautiful images was tempting and I said to myself and to my wife, this is the place where we could rest and relax . So I deposited the requred 50% for our two nights stay. In Makati City, I rented a chauffered car from our hotel for P3445.00 pesos one way to reach the place. My wife and I were surprised to see the place so different from the images that were posted online. We were checked in at an old cottage with a not-so-clean small bed, a toilet that was not functioning and a primitive type of shower. We requested for another room which was a little better than the first one but still the shower was the same as the first and the toilet was even worst. There was only one family besides us that did not stay very long. Another group of guests was in another unit but that's all. My wife called my attention when she noticed that there was no security personnel around the resort, considering the place is so remote and totally out of town. I am sorry to say that the so called "garden resort", the swimming pool and the bathrooms were poorly maintained. The actual place is so far away from the pictures posted in the Internet. After two hours of uncomfortable feeling, my wife suggested that we return to Makati City so I text the driver to come back and pick us pick. I did not ask for my deposit because we just wanted to leave the "garden resort" as fast as we could. By 6:00 P.M., we were back in downtown Makati City and comfortably resting in our hotel.

A nice advertisement in the local newspaper, The Inquirer, led us to visit this place. It is along our route from North Luzon using the Pulilan Exit on NLEX. We did not regret visiting the place because it was indeed a nice quiet retreat with plenty of restful greens and native huts that effectively shield the warm sunlight.
They have a large swimming pool connected to a kiddie pool that is ideal for families with children. The 3-bed spa is air-conditioned with piped in music for total relaxation. I opted for a combination massage using 2 therapists. Both were Very very good.
We did not know that they have 30 some rooms that can be booked like a normal hotel but with 3 meals included. Perfect for couples or families who just wish to relax without having to think of such details. We plan to stay overnight next chance we have and shall recommend to our friends who wish to de-stress for a couple of days outside the city but not too far out north.

Room: Average box type room, with two double beds, we were not provided with clean towels.
They said that we got the room at a discount, that is why breakfast was not included. Therefore, it was not a discount they gave, but a mere deduction.
I'll give it to them, the place is spacious, trees all around, but the tub, err, I mean the pool was filthy. For such a small pool how hard can it be to maintain it?!
One personnel, the manong who is tasked to mind the parking area, and fix broken doors, is an extortionist!
Our other group stayed in the Main Villa, well in all fairness, the rooms were nice, the common area was pleasant, but to house around 20 pax, and have only 2 bathroom, is inappropriate and stressful to say the least for the occupants. Not to mention that one of the two bathrooms had a broken door, the one at the second floor had very low water pressure, making it difficult to use the toilet.
Staying at home is a better option, rather than spend a weekend here.

Like wow! Then Di nasusunod yung sinend na qoutation, company outing namin is on April 14 then as based doon sa quotation magagamit namin ang pool ang grounds. Then sabi pwede na daw gamitin basta after lunch wala na daw tao. Kung di pala pwede yung date Reason sa lahat ng sudden changes? Tumanggap sila ng wedding same date nung company outing namin and their telling us na nauna daw magpareserve yung ikakasal na dapat sinabi na nila samin from the time na nagpaqoute ako na di pala pwede ang venue at ang daming restrictions! Di sana kung maaga nasabi nakapaghanap na ng ibang venue at date!! They are suggesting pa mna imove daw ng April 15 which is sunday! Sunday? May office kaya bukas! Yung iba samin galing pang south!! And the food was worst! Tipid. Good for 75 people yung food tipid na ang pag bigay nabitin pa. So disappointing. But anyway, natuloy naman kami kasi subrang late notice na at nagrereklamo na talaga kami, pinarefund daw yung kasal na di ko malaman kung totoo nga ba talaga. Napakagulo ng management ng resort na to. Walang isang salita. Di ko na sya irerecommend sa iba. Worst sa lahat ng napuntahan kong resort.

Overpriced/rate for the amenities available on the resort. We should be checked-in by 2pm but when we got there turns out that they have offered to other guest the bookings we made, settled by 6pm when we checked in- FINALLY! Old rooms and Shared bath room are dirty. Please make your services more efficient (to LWGRS)
