This hotel is a gem! Clean, quiet, comfortable with refreshingly modern decor. Modern roll-down shades: much more practical and nicer than curtains. Guest coin laundry: great. Front desk staff: cheerful, helpful and professional. Breakfast buffet: well-stocked and clean. Parking lot: well-lit. Waffle House, Starbucks and McDonald's are nearby. My only quibble, not the hotel's fault: theZero brand shampoo and conditioner are awful, they make my hair feel like dry straw. Hilton, please bring back Neutrogena toiletries at all Hampton Inns!!

My hubby had been working 16 hr shifts so on the 3rd night we got a room by his job. Booked at last minute but they had vacancies and were very friendly when I called to book. My room was sealed with blue sanitation label to let me know it was sanitary and there were wipes in the room for us to use. The remote was also sealed in a bag. We had a walk-in shower in our room!!! Not sure if that’s in all of the rooms but it was nice!! :)

The rooms were clean, staff was friendly. The location was close to highway so you could get to New Orleans quickly, but was still a little too far for me. Laplace is a smaller town so you will typically need to travel to Metairie for dinner to eat a good meal. They do offer a good complimentary hot breakfast. Such as eggs, sausage, bacon, and pancakes.

Due to age of property and lack of hot breakfast, I would rate it a 4. But we had ants and had to change rooms.
The location is convenient, not far off the I-10. There are fast food restaurants in walking distance. There are some palm trees as vegetation.
The lobby is large with a big breakfast seating area. The manager, Tracie, was very friendly and helpful.
The property is 21 years old. It has aged well, but does need a renovation.
The price was good at about $85 before tax. There was a little road noise and some loud parking lot noise. We started with a ground floor room.
The room was a good size with a small table desk and couch/sofa bed. The mattress was comfortable. The blanket/duvet was excessively heavy. We had ants in the bathroom and on the coffee table. We had eaten in the room. There were slight signs of baseboard mold.
Due to the ants we were moved to a third floor room. No mold and less noise.
The breakfast was cold grab and go with boiled eggs, bagel and yogurt. No juice. The items for sale in the pantry were very limited. Fortunately, there is a Waffle House close by.
The pool is outdoors and under construction. The fitness center was well equipped. The business center was in a separate room, but the room was without a door and screens could be seen by passersby.

I have been coming to this Hampton Inn for 10 years to visit family and I give it mixed reviews depending on who is working that day. Lol. The front desk is very nice but the lady in charge of the breakfast should be replaced or retrained. I actually felt bad complaining to the front desk because they are ALL so nice and helped me right away. The breakfast lady is just slow and can't be bothered y'all so know that. Lol! Otherwise very nice hotel. I highly recommend it.

When in New Orleans this property is our choice. Convenient to the airport (MSY) and everything we needed to do, including away from New Orleans, it is perfect.
Manned by a seasoned staff, they deliver the Hampton Experience almost without effort.

Within mere days of arrival, we found out that the hotel was CLOSED. Repairs for Hurricane Ida damage was cited. The Hurricane occurred a YEAR AGO, plenty of time to notify guests, shuffle reservations, etc. we can hardly imagine the problems we’d have arriving after a long flight to a dark hotel.
We have stayed at this Hampton many times over the years. It is one of the BEST in the chain. Except for this major disconnect! 8/16/22

This property is well maintained and easy access off highway. The rooms were clean, clean bathroom and bed slept well. Complimentary breakfast was good also, very convenient for early risers! Great quality for price!

The hotel was clean, attractively decorated and comfortable. Staff was nice. The gentleman in the AM at the front desk gave me a recommendation on where to eat in NOLA. He even calculated distances between some cities. for me and recommended a route. I’d stay here again. Also very quiet. I’m glad I chose to stay outside the city.

Do not stay here-it is dirty and the team members are not there to help. Be prepared to wear your mask only to be greeted by the team members not wearing theirs. Way to far from the attractions even for the price. Stay downtown

I am not away of any park and cruise at this location.
There are two wonderful locations right here in LaPlace - only 5 minutes from the hotel.
Frenier's Landing and Pier 51
Both have AMAZING selections that are true Louisiana cooking!
