I booked this placed off of booking.com and was a little nervous that I was able to get a room with two king size beds (separated by a partial wall) for $80 a night. I originally booked just one night, but we were able to sneak away two days earlier. I called late and asked if we could possibly get the same room that night about 3 am, the following night, and then the Friday night we were originally booked for. The lady was able to make it happen for us! We were so happy. I called a couple of different times and no one answered the phone. I was a bit nervous but I left a message. The receptionist called me back within 15 minutes. When we checked in at 3 am we were met by a very nice lady at the desk who got our checked in in record time. From the main road the front entrance is on a one way street, not a big deal. Just a short trip around the block will get you in to the hotel.

The hotel is in a slightly ran down residential area. I was never fearful of my belongings or safety. The entire hotel is surrounded by a fence with only one way to enter and exit. The entire complex is under video surveillance. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Two king size beds separated by a wall. Two large flat screens TVs, full size refrigerator, microwave, table and two chairs. The bathrooms was decent size, no exhaust fan so it did get a little steamy in there. Towels and linens were nice. Beds were firm but nice. They offer a continental breakfast in the office area with pastries, fruit, cereal and hard boiled eggs.

It was a short 10 minute (easy) drive to the French Quarter from this hotel. There were a couple of restaurants near the hotel as well. I would certainly suggest this hotel to anyone who is traveling to NOLA with a car. Save your money and stay at this hidden gem so you can spend more money on food and "drinks". :-)

We were in town for Forth of July weekend, and booked our room at the last minute. This was the only affordable option we could find. I was a little worried, because there was only one small photo available online, but was VERY pleased with our room upon check in. They have recently remodeled the lobby and rooms. Check-in was friendly and smooth. I requested to see the room first, and the front desk didn't skip a beat. They made me a key, and showed me where to go with a smile. We stayed in a one bedroom suite that had a full kitchen. Fridge, sink, 4 burner stove top with oven and microwave. Would be perfect for a longer stay, and was GREAT for the weekend traveling with our toddler. The bed was firmer than I would like, and the tub could have been in better shape, but overall the place was super clean, quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood next door looked ok, the main street looked a little sketchy, but the parking lot was well lit and secure. It was an easy 15 minute trip to downtown. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay!

A great value. From the outside, a classic 60's motel, but tucked behind a building so you can't quite see it from Jefferson highway. On the inside, updated rooms and very comfy beds. It's a great location if you have a car. Completely quiet, but a 10-minute drive or so on River Road to the Oak Street corridor (great restaurants) and the Tulane area. Hard to beat the price; it delivers value. Only quibble; a dark out curtain or shade would be nice.

I really liked this hotel. It was close to everything. And very quiet also. I only two complaints about this hotel. Is that they didn't know their own WiFi password. So we had to work to find it out. And my other one is that the walk in price was 91$ which was so crazy to me considering the priceline and tripadviser were completely lower. I was just caught off guard that on a Sunday evening for a one night stay was that much.

Very good value. Friendly owner greeted me on arrival. She answered any questions and told me about a great place to get a drink and some good food. My room was ready. It was very clean and had every thing I needed and more. I didn't opt for the micro and fridge because hey, I was in New Orleans! But there was a more than adequate continental breakfast. Enough to get you going. It was very quiet and I never saw a bug. Only thing is you need a car because it's a 15 min. Ride to the French Quarter. If you need to call a cab use United. Better to go with a pro than some guy with a car. I called Uber for a ride to the room at 5 on Sat. afternoon ( for some reason their app won't work in Jefferson) and their estimated fare was 35-50 dollars. About 8 miles. United was 21. Great place but have car.

Convenient location to Tulane University, less than 10 minutes. The room was as the reviews commented on. The bed was comfortable, the towels were very soft. Upscale sink in the bathroom and the room overall was very clean. The people there were VERY helpful, they spent almost 10 minutes giving me advise on parking around Tulane and also around the WWII museum(which I also recommend). I would stay there again and I had no problem with the area around the motel.

I was looking for a last minute motel near the Garden district and St. Charles street car line, that was in a decent area and didn't cost a fortune. I found this place with one review that was good so I was a little skeptical, based on the Google street view. This property gets a "0" on curb appeal but when you go around the corner you see that it is a two story property with outside entries. The "updated" room was very clean and had comfortable beds, new paint and modern touches. It also had a full size fridge and a microwave. They had a decent little continental breakfast w/ Community coffee. You can catch the Jefferson Express bus just a couple of blocks down the street, that takes you to the street car line. There is a grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance and cab fare to the airport was only $25. No pool or hot tub but if you need a no frills base for experiencing Nola, this place fits the bill.

I had seen the sign for this place before but the area looked sketchy so I passed it up. But this trip to New Orleans something told me to check it out. It was more than I could hope for. The owners were awesome and so was the room. I had a 2 bed(King) room and there was a divider wall between the beds like a separate room. There was a tv for both areas. The place is very cute. The room was spotless and very comfortable beds. It is located a bit ducked off the road so it was amazingly quiet. I can say without a doubt that I will always stay there from now on if I have to stay over night again. I usually choose comfort inn Or a motel 8. This place was the same price but much nicer. I am hooked after only one night. The coffee in the room was organic too

Check in was a breeze - the staff were friendly and happy to give advice on places to go and what to see.

Uber was cheap into bourbon street...

Rooms were clean - a little old but had everything we needed.

We went during jazz fest so anything closer to the French quarter was way outside our budget

If you’re looking for an affordable option don’t go past this place.

Jefferson Inn and Suites is a very well kept secret. I will not stay any where else when in New Orleans. Hotel does offer decent continental breakfast. I was very pleased to find out they have a guest laundry which is free and it will cost fifty cents to dry clothes. They got out of there way to make your stay totally enjoyable.

The guest Kaye1977 found plastic beads and reported them as bug eggs. We followed up by upgrading the guest into a larger room. We showed this guest IN-PERSON the plastic beads we found that was reported and beat on the beads proved they were plastic and guest was speechless after. Please check our legitimate reviews. This guest was trying to get a free stay. We have our own security footage of guest in office with plastic beads. Use your own judgement. Can there be THOUSANDS of eggs or just an exaggeratory comment by a disgruntled guest because they expected 5-star Ritz Carlton.
