Stayed here for three days and had a great time. The friendly and helpful staff were able to answer all our questions and organize transport for us when it was needed. There is also a free shuttle that runs every half hour to the beach and back to the resort again. The resort is away from the Main Street so it’s quiet and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant meals are tasty and the bar has a 3 hour happy hour where you can get 2 for 1 mixed drinks for 100PHP. Can’t go wrong. Highly recommend this as a place to stay if you’re in Bohol.
Stayed at this amazing place with my sister, friend and boyfriend. We had the greatest time. Since it was our second time in Bohol we usually hang around the pool and played a lot of games. It seemed like most of the guests were on trips during the day, or at Alona Beach. So we had the staff and the pool to ourselves. The staff was so welcoming and extremely helpful. Everything was perfectly clean. They provided towels for us both in the rooms and for the pool. Whenever we left the place security would take care of our key. They had a free shuttle bus that would take you to Alona Beach, eventhough it was only a maximum of 20 minutes walk. The food wasn't the best, but the cheese sticks we're amazing. We were so sad when they ran out for the last two days of our stay! Breakfast…
When I landed in Cebu I should head to Malapasqua but a typhoon in Leyte region made me change my plans. So I slept one night in Cebu city then decide to go to Panglao next morning . Just booked the Scent of Green Papaya Resort on the taxi heading to the pier and couldn’t be more lucky of the choice I made. This is what I expect from a resort, it’s human sized it makes you feel like home, the staff are so friendly and helpful whenever you need something, the rooms are spacious clean as new, the bed is huge and comfortable ( best bed ever, and I’m used to travel). Im not a fan of swimming pool but this one was perfect to relax at until late in the evening. I only had breakfast there and was delicious with different choices of tasty breakfast. Won’t hesitate to choose this resort…
Secluded hotel, several minutes walk to Alona beach (they offer free shuttle service every 30 minutes). Very quiet and peaceful. Just FYI: walk after dark from Alona means walking some distance in complete darkness. Friendly and helpful service. Lovely hotel setup. Rooms - clean and spacious with very good AirCon. Great pool. OK food: reasonable prices, few breakfast options to choose from, happy hour daily.
The hotel was nice and clean. They had hot water and the A/C worked with little noise. The hotel is located close to Alona Beach and they do have a shuttle to the beach. Breakfast was limited and included with room. There restaurant was not bad but they are so many other options to eat out. Enjoyed their pool and having drinks there. I found the hotel very pleasant and comfortable. And the staff warm and friendly. I do plan to go back here again
I stayed here from 13th-18th May. It’s a lovely hotel, nice & clean, friendly staff, nice food & drinks from the bar, really nice pool that is open until 10pm. Can’t really fault my stay wound come back. Shuttle bus to alona beach is every half hour until 11pm. We did have a problem with ants in our room the first day mentioned it to the staff & the ants were gone.
This hotel is a 15 minute walk from Alona beach, hidden away off of a side road and a couple of dirt tracks. It’s quiet and away from the loud music of the beach, and offers a shuttle service every 30 mins if you don’t want to walk to Alona. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly, the pool area is nicely kept and it has 24 hour security. The bar shuts quite early though, around 11pm. It seems adequately priced and fair. It wouldn’t be my top pick, but it served the purpose of the two nights we needed before travelling to Hong Kong. A good hotel.
After driving through a bumpy road you enter the hotel space and it looks good. They have a guard, a good looking pool, smiling staff and a picturesque set of houses. You get a complementary fruit juice while you check in..so far,so good. Once you enter your room, everything changes. A dusty/moldy smell burst through your nose while you contemplate a very tired room. Furniture looks old and worn out. Nothing matches. Shower water is probably some form of poorly treated salt water. Cleaning is not very thorough. Positive : - pool is good and open until 10pm - staff is very friendly and will try to help you - shuttle to and from alona beach every 30m from 7am to 10pm. Always on time. - spacious safe Negative : - furniture and it's poor preservation. - breakfast is no big…
The staff are friendly, helpful and will go above and beyond. The place is good for family. We had in room massages almost every night, which we enjoyed a lot after day tour. Their food is good and reasonable, and I enjoyed the happy hour drinks by the pool while hubby and kid was swimming. We will definitely stay here again.
My 3'rd time staying here . There's a good reason I keep coming back..great rooms, king bed, cable tv, great pool, decent restaurant, free breakfast, quiet neighborhood, and the staff is very very good..I'll be back !!
