Modern eco native resort, near the beach, with swimming pool and located in a green, peaceful and quiet area. With now a free Shuttle on demand direct to the beach, for a 3 min ride to the best vacations in BOHOL
this is a relatively new resort, however, access was difficult, road was muddy and even entrance is hard due to unpaved road. there was dog poo on the grass and near the rooms, and room we stayed smell of sewage. Breakfast was boring, little choice and everything was regimented. we were treated like as if we could not read or write, and it was irritating to say the least. while pool was nice, water in the faucet was absolutely salty. won't recommend to anyone/

Our stay in SOGPR was superb! Their staff are all very attentive, friendly and nice. The rooms are so clean, smelled nice, and toiletries are complete. The pools are amazing. My son had fun in the kiddie pool and me and my husband in the jacuzzi. Good food and price is reasonable! I love the fact that we can just charge our food orders in the room so that I didn’t have to bring my wallet everytime. Wifi is great too, they have several wifi routers in the area, so there is no area that has a weak signal. The free shuttle to and from Alona Beach is a big plus!!!! Because of the standards that they have set, I was disappointed to the next resort (Dumaluan Beach Resort 2) we checked in to afterwards

Nice hotel and pool area just a little out of the way. Shuttle busruns every 30 minutes makes things easier otherwise it would be to out of the way . Breakfast was pretty good think next time I would prefer closer to the beach

The problem is the service and hazards that you may encounter. This is what I've encountered so far: 1. there are dengue carrying mosquitoes; 2. my room got flooded from the drainage backing up; 3. employees don't exactly give you the right information like tourist attraction pricing or that you have to pay extra for every underwear you put in when using their laundry services; 4. they replaced the damaged equipment/device from the flood with their Boss' second hand equipment/device. (Not sure if they actually have any damaged properties policy); 5. The wifi signal is unreachable in some rooms you stay in; 6. Somehow you can't open their toothpaste without biting the top off; 7. Constructions are ongoing (during my stay at least); Other than those listed above: 1. The stay is…

We stayed for 2 nights in mid September. We stayed in the family room on the second floor. Everything was fine, nice room, great pool, friendly staff. We got breakfast delivered up to our balcony each morning. The jeepney to the beach was brilliant. But our stay was completely ruined by poor management... On the first afternoon, just after arriving, we were disturbed by construction just above our room. I complained about it and it stopped not long after because it was late afternoon. The second day was rainy and we were out all day but the third day, starting at exactly 7 AM very loud hammering and sawing began. I mean really loud, just above our heads... This is our vacation which should be relaxing, able to sleep in a bit...Now, I understand that the workers need to do the…

Stayed here for three days and had a great time. The friendly and helpful staff were able to answer all our questions and organize transport for us when it was needed. There is also a free shuttle that runs every half hour to the beach and back to the resort again. The resort is away from the Main Street so it’s quiet and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant meals are tasty and the bar has a 3 hour happy hour where you can get 2 for 1 mixed drinks for 100PHP. Can’t go wrong. Highly recommend this as a place to stay if you’re in Bohol.

Stayed at this amazing place with my sister, friend and boyfriend. We had the greatest time. Since it was our second time in Bohol we usually hang around the pool and played a lot of games. It seemed like most of the guests were on trips during the day, or at Alona Beach. So we had the staff and the pool to ourselves. The staff was so welcoming and extremely helpful. Everything was perfectly clean. They provided towels for us both in the rooms and for the pool. Whenever we left the place security would take care of our key. They had a free shuttle bus that would take you to Alona Beach, eventhough it was only a maximum of 20 minutes walk. The food wasn't the best, but the cheese sticks we're amazing. We were so sad when they ran out for the last two days of our stay! Breakfast…

When I landed in Cebu I should head to Malapasqua but a typhoon in Leyte region made me change my plans. So I slept one night in Cebu city then decide to go to Panglao next morning . Just booked the Scent of Green Papaya Resort on the taxi heading to the pier and couldn’t be more lucky of the choice I made. This is what I expect from a resort, it’s human sized it makes you feel like home, the staff are so friendly and helpful whenever you need something, the rooms are spacious clean as new, the bed is huge and comfortable ( best bed ever, and I’m used to travel). Im not a fan of swimming pool but this one was perfect to relax at until late in the evening. I only had breakfast there and was delicious with different choices of tasty breakfast. Won’t hesitate to choose this resort…

Secluded hotel, several minutes walk to Alona beach (they offer free shuttle service every 30 minutes). Very quiet and peaceful. Just FYI: walk after dark from Alona means walking some distance in complete darkness. Friendly and helpful service. Lovely hotel setup. Rooms - clean and spacious with very good AirCon. Great pool. OK food: reasonable prices, few breakfast options to choose from, happy hour daily.
