Stayed 3 days and 2 nights in this beautiful and serene resort. Everything is perfect, the rooms are well-appointed, swimming pool options both for kids and adults, food is great too. Staff are nice and accomodating. Not beach front, but if you want to just relax, away from the hustling crowd of Alona, then this is the best choice.

Booked 2 family rooms here last week. Family rooms are excellent and well laid out for family with 2 separate rooms, and a very relaxing and spacious open terrace. Family rooms are complimented with full drinks in the ref including 2 canned of beers. Nice pool and resort is surrounded with trees. But access to the hotel is quite poor, very narrow and bumpy roads. Also no fixed phones in the rooms and if you need something you’ve got to go to reception e.g. getting hot water for coffee. This is not convenient for us staying on the 3rd floor. Tap water for bathing is also a bit salty.

My cousin and I really enjoyed our stay at Green Papaya. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The 2 pools are great. I would definitely stay there again.

The 2 bedrooms suite is spacious and clean. It’s quite a distance to Alona beach but shuttle is provided every 30mins. Driver is punctual and it takes about 5mins drive to the beach. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. The front desk girls are always there to help and you can have their recommendations for food and tour!

We had a lovely stay here. It’s down a quiet road with Ken’s bar very close for a night cap or drink on the way into town. Green papaya is lovely, rooms are nice size. Bathrooms need a bit of an upgrade. You have to order breakfast the day before but a good ish selection and lovely coffee. The biggest downsize is that there are. I longer 8 rooms as per website but 24/26. We were fortunate that people seemed to go out during the day .... but had there been more people in, the pool area would have been very crowded. Also noticed that they say a ‘rooftop’ bar coming soon.... may well ruin this tranquil spot.

We had to stay only one night but we asked for one day more. The place is clean the stuff friendly, the food so so (average quality in Philippine) they have a free shuttle to Manala beach (that is extremely overrated, dirty and chaotic) just ten minutes north they have much better beaches. The pool is nice and close late. AWESOME Cheska, receptionist with you could easily fall in love, she’s extremely beautiful and kind. We asked for laundry service and I will never forget how much clean and Soft my clothes were. Absolutely suggested!

From the moment you walk through the entrance you're greeted will amazingly friendly staff and a gorgeous pool. I honestly can't express how lovely it was to meet Gia and Aira! So funny and kind, they provided exceptional service. The rooms were comfy, spacious, clean, quiet and peaceful. The food is delicious and cheap drinks for the evenings was very welcoming. Thank you Green Papaya and espically to our new friend Gia, we will be returning!

Green Papaya is great! Especially Gia and Aira, the girls that work at the front the desk! My partner and I had an amazing time! Gia set us up with an amazing tour guide who took us all over the island and was so much fun to get lunch with. Absolutely beautiful people!!! I’m sure the entire staff at green papaya are amazing, but we connected with Gia and Aira right away! They were so welcoming, friendly, and accomodating! We loved our stay not only because of the clean room, refreshing pool, location, and food but because of the staff! Will definitely be coming back!!! Thank you so much Gia and Aira for making our stay care-free, relaxing, and amazing! We’ll see you again soon definitely!

We were there for the wedding of our son in Philippines. We did our booking online at Green papaya resort. On arrival we were greeted by very charming staff. They were well versed and knew their job. They made every effort to make our stay comfortable. The food and the drinks were just right. The rooms were clean and the bedding was great. The shuttle bus was amazing. Green in colour. Oh we also loved the Happy Hour where drinks were in plenty. We would like to thank and recommend all the staff especially..GIA, CLUDINE, CELYN and AIRA. The kitchen staff were excellent. Stayed for two nights - downside comments first. 1) Beds have quite sharp wooden corners - quite painful if you bump into them - these need to be rounded off. 2) Quite clearly they have a problem with the sewage system - toilet wouldn't flush properly & I overheard another guest complaint of the same issue. 3) Sliding UPVC doors are just so heavy & hard work to close properly. 4) Prices - expensive compared to similar priced resorts near Alona. 5) Bathroom Shower head needs servicing or replacing - a strong jet of water comes from the middle with weak water flow from other nozzles. 6) WiFi poor in room 7) No tea or coffee making facilities Upside: 1) Very peaceful & relaxing - nice plants inside and surrounding the property, many birds visiting for the fruit. 2) Pool is…
