Detailed Reviews
We stayed SuÃte pool view room.
Size of the room is good, shower is little hard to adjust water temperature, room cleaning is great, but they should vacum or use a wet mop to clean the floor, it was always sand in the room and corridors.
Our door to the balcony had a big gap when closed, need to fill it you with the curtain or a towel to try to reduce the amount of mosquitos in side the room.
For the restaurant, always double check your bill, some times if you bring in a drink that you are already drinking they may charge it again!!

Well done to this hotel right on the beach.
I have booked 3 Pool Suites on this hotel.
Every thing went well from housekeeping service right on the dot when i made a complain in 1 of the rooms has a shower fault where 2 minutes they responded and fix right away.
Rooms are quite acceptable in size as well
The only thing i have in big concern was that on new years eve and new year swimming in the pool is to no avail due to the preparation of staging over the pool. Now what happened tot he guest right in front of it paying the amount for the pool privelege?
Somehow this realy does not look good though, they should have built their entertainment at the beach front of their restaurant. Very inconvenient i may say for all the 3 pool suites i booked in for all my 8 guests that i paid for. I was embarrassed at that situation
Secondly, they have not advised me about the New Years Eve Buffet cost and status, They should have emailed me about it as well since i am the one whom they have contacts for all my 8 guest.
Shamely i went straight to the restaurant and arrange it myself for all my 8 guests felt discriminated by then by their own kind Filipinos and 1 of them is an 85 year old woman which is my mother.
Diacremated "why", as they went in to the buffet they have to be pushed out with waitresses like stray dogs not really properly do or humanly approached.
Directly saying staff in restaurant no customer proper approach training.
I have to find the restaurant manager this time after that incident where he did best to sort us.
Thirdly is the Front desk staff. To my obsedrvation and experience they dont communicate properly.
Well i have been honest that i paid only once for my booking but it went twice on their record. Good job for the lady who found it out.
And to that case as well i paid incidental ampunt before my guest arrived to check in then since i was busy somewhere my guests did arrived and they were ask for another incidental cost again but nyway this is repaid back to me. But it already causes inconvenience for my guests and me.
Hoping that the Hotel manager will look into this and dealt with.
I am looking forward to go back to this hotel myself as that does not bother me at all as i have said this hotel is Good.
Their housekeeping service is very good.
The security sr. officer is also very good.
Thank you for reading my review.

Ate supper on the beach. Seafood price is by weight. Squid was under cooked. When asked to cook it more, they took the plate, and returned it 5 minutes later without cooking it longer. Ordered two pina coladas. Whatever it was, that wasnt a pina colada. Cheesy onion rings were delicious.
We ate crab here 2 nights ago and that was delicious, so were the pina coladas.
Tonight however was awful. Service was not good either. It was unfortunate.

The worst one. I was about to go inside the washroom and here is the woman and as what I heard the daughter of the " owner" and the most rude person I've met in my entire life , she was literally nagging and she mentioned that it was just my excuse that am going to set in bar when I told her and want to use the washroom first and she talked like she was nagging to a 5 year old kid infront of other people and I wonder was she acted that way because I was just an ordinary Filipino who come to their resort or she was born with that character already. But anyway I still have the guts to use the other washroom with the help of the staff and found out their washroom was dirty, found blood in the floor and dirt round the washroom.
And lastly I set in their bar and have a shake and try to enjoy the company of my friends.

The hotel shows no consideration. They don't know how to treat guests well. We humbly requested that we stay another day in the same room we are staying in and pay the same fee as I booked for three days. They told us that the room was already booked for that day, and if we wanted to take it, we would pay the regular rate. We had nowhere to go at that time. So, we tried to look for some hotels around the area so we would have a place to stay for another night. It seems that Villa Tomasa Kew only cares about money.

Great location and service. The rooms and building are a bit old and they only provide two towels. However, the place is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an ocean view suite right on the beach. The access to the beach, restaurants, and activities were very easy. The property is large with two pools (although one was closed for cleaning), and their restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating on the beach. The prices are also very reasonable. I would stay there again when I am back in Bohol.

Stayed at Alona Kew White Beach Resort for the remaining 3 days and 2 nights since we had to check out from our previous hotel. The room we previously got wasn’t senior friendly for we needed to trek 3 flights of stairs. And of course, we are happy that Alona Kew was able to accommodate us at the last minute.
The hotel is clean, has a pool, beach front and complete with amenities. The hotel front is alive at night since there was fire dancing. Also, thankfully the breakfast that was available during our stay – from plated – became buffet, we are so lucky. The choices were limited but in any case, I think it was satisfactory. The staff is remarkable. Shoutout to their wonderful staff in the front desk Rose Anne who attended to all of our needs and accommodated us at the last minute. Will definitely stay here when we return to Bohol.

We were just there 3/13/20 after moving from another location. Staff and amenities made this place a delight to stay. Great location with pools and restaurants. Staff provided great assistance when we learned that we must leave due to the covin19 virus. They got us checked out and arranged transportation to the ferry terminal.

The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and the pool was also super. We had access to another pool as well which was a bit bigger and closer to the beach. Also, the breakfast was served at the beach front restaurant which was really nice. Only thing to complain about was deafening disco party right outside our window (we were staying in Suite 117) which lasted until 3AM, we did not get much sleep during our stay. But that is not so much a hotel problem but a neighbourhood issue. The location is good, the beach is close as well as the night life.

Customer service was way below average. Staff were inattentive and lazy. Worst resort I have stayed at in Bohol. Checking-in I already felt the staff were rude and were not knowledgeable. I also noticed there were some favouritism towards non-filipino patrons as compared to filipino patrons which is a big red flag. The rooms were okay but the customer experience is horrible.

Hi. Sorry for the late response. When we went there this year’s summer season, it’s not really a renovation but rather a new building is being constructed at the beach front. It’s probably already open by now. Their poolside rooms are good but i would prefer the suites in the hotel itself as they are bigger but a bit pricier.
Yes, its free breakfast buffet but they were not consistent. Suggestion: look for a better resort because they have a bad service.
