The worst one. I was about to go inside the washroom and here is the woman and as what I heard the daughter of the " owner" and the most rude person I've met in my entire life , she was literally nagging and she mentioned that it was just my excuse that am going to set in bar when I told her and want to use the washroom first and she talked like she was nagging to a 5 year old kid infront of other people and I wonder was she acted that way because I was just an ordinary Filipino who come to their resort or she was born with that character already. But anyway I still have the guts to use the other washroom with the help of the staff and found out their washroom was dirty, found blood in the floor and dirt round the washroom. And lastly I set in their bar and have a shake and try to enjoy the company of my friends.…
Good but a little overpriced probably due to its perfect location on Alona Beach (a fewmeters from the sea). Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Breakfast was a little disappointing and never tried other meals here. They did not accept credit cards (probably due to the damages after the December typhoon) and most ATM were out of order so I had to transfer money thru Remitly. The "old" area was not operational but the new part was. Great pool .. but only meters the beach so i never used it
We were just there 3/13/20 after moving from another location. Staff and amenities made this place a delight to stay. Great location with pools and restaurants. Staff provided great assistance when we learned that we must leave due to the covin19 virus. They got us checked out and arranged transportation to the ferry terminal.
The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and the pool was also super. We had access to another pool as well which was a bit bigger and closer to the beach. Also, the breakfast was served at the beach front restaurant which was really nice. Only thing to complain about was deafening disco party right outside our window (we were staying in Suite 117) which lasted until 3AM, we did not get much sleep during our stay. But that is not so much a hotel problem but a neighbourhood issue. The location is good, the beach is close as well as the night life.
Well done to this hotel right on the beach. I have booked 3 Pool Suites on this hotel. Every thing went well from housekeeping service right on the dot when i made a complain in 1 of the rooms has a shower fault where 2 minutes they responded and fix right away. Rooms are quite acceptable in size as well The only thing i have in big concern was that on new years eve and new year swimming in the pool is to no avail due to the preparation of staging over the pool. Now what happened tot he guest right in front of it paying the amount for the pool privelege? Somehow this realy does not look good though, they should have built their entertainment at the beach front of their restaurant. Very inconvenient i may say for all the 3 pool suites i booked in for all my 8 guests that i paid for. I was embarrassed at that situation Secondly, they have not advised me about the New Years Eve Buffet cost and status, They should have emailed me about it as well since i am the one whom they have contacts for all my 8 guest. Shamely i went straight to the restaurant and arrange it myself for all my 8 guests felt discriminated by then by their own kind Filipinos and 1 of them is an 85 year old woman which is my mother. Diacremated "why", as they went in to the buffet they have to be pushed out with waitresses like stray dogs not really properly do or humanly approached. Directly saying staff in restaurant no customer proper approach training. I have to find the restaurant manager this time after that incident where he did best to sort us. Thirdly is the Front desk staff. To my obsedrvation and experience they dont communicate properly. Well i have been honest that i paid only once for my booking but it went twice on their record. Good job for the lady who found it out. And to that case as well i paid incidental ampunt before my guest arrived to check in then since i was busy somewhere my guests did arrived and they were ask for another incidental cost again but nyway this is repaid back to me. But it already causes inconvenience for my guests and me. Hoping that the Hotel manager will look into this and dealt with. I am looking forward to go back to this hotel myself as that does not bother me at all as i have said this hotel is Good. Their housekeeping service is very good. The security sr. officer is also very good. Thank you for reading my review.…
We stayed Suíte pool view room. Size of the room is good, shower is little hard to adjust water temperature, room cleaning is great, but they should vacum or use a wet mop to clean the floor, it was always sand in the room and corridors. Our door to the balcony had a big gap when closed, need to fill it you with the curtain or a towel to try to reduce the amount of mosquitos in side the room. For the restaurant, always double check your bill, some times if you bring in a drink that you are already drinking they may charge it again!!
Stayed here for 3 nights, Room ovs 207. The location is good. Some staffs are friendly but doesnt care about the guests satisfaction. I am a hotelier and I think guests should be satisfied by the money that they are paying you. This was so far my worst experience, there was a fly on my food! I complained and they didnt even seem to bother about it. I am not overreacting but how would you feel if you experienced same? I am pregnant and it's not a good hygiene to eat a dirty fly. 🤷♀️ I paid 7500 a night just to eat flies? I dont understand how a fly can go inside the area if it was a airconditioned and closed room. I hope the management would do something about it cause I've been to some open air restaurants and didnt experince flies on my food. Train them well on how to react on those situations and that would be enough for guests. Walls are also so thin I can hear housekeeping shouting from the outside when they are cleaning or even hear drunk guests at night at the other side of the room. If ever I comeback here I hope I wont go through same experience again.…
Had a nice room with beach front balcony and their free breakfast was very good. Only set back was that we can hear the noise from the hallway which was disturbing us as we're trying to sleep. Staff were polite and helpful.
Hotel is centrally located right in the middle of Alona beach close to everything with a beautiful patio/restaurant, which is perfect for watching ocean and ppl strolling by. Rooms/beds are very comfortable and come in all varieties of choices, just inform the front desk on your preferences. People here are very professional, helpful and accommodating. This is a perfect place to relax and take in the ocean and the sun. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Alona.
Alona Kew White Beach Resort is perfectly situated along a really nice stretch of beach in Panglao. We were a group of 8 adults and took 4 rooms. The rooms are very big, very clean with good size baths. Rooms have its fridge, teas and coffee. While the bathrooms are provided with standard toiletries. Breakfast is a buffet at their restaurant by the beach. Food variety is amazing with wide selections of food. Amenities of the hotel are great as well, with two large pools. Their staff are also very attentive. If you wish to ask for timba and tabo, they'll provide that as well. Overall, our stay there was great and we will definitely come back!
