We were here for holiday with friends. We were total 6 of us and 3 rooms. Without notifying receptionist that we are actually traveling together(We arrived 3 different timing), they arranged the room for us at the same level and next to each other! Our rooms were located at 1st floor where very easy to access to swimming pool & pool bar. Room condition was good and clean. Swimming pool is big enough to play and quiet enough to take a nap. Overall we were very satisfied for two nights stay. Special thanks to the receptionist who assist us to book transportation to airport when we checked out. Even it was last minute request, she arranged for us patiently! Thank you so much for your help!! We will recommend this hotel to other friends and we will be back for sure. P.S. - We are fall in love with this lovely puppy 🐶

We enjoyed our stay there. The room was clean, large, the air-con worked well, no problems with hot water. It's about 10 min walk to the beach, there is a cheap store just around the corner and a massage place within 5 min walk. The hotel is quiet,
Wi-Fi signal outside the room is good. Overall it was a good value for money.
We arranged for a hotel transfer and they were very quick at responding. We did not get on the first ferry (book your ferry tickets in advance) and the second ferry was late but thankfully the driver was waiting at the port for us until we arrived.
My only suggestion for the management would be to provide new towels as the current ones are very old. This small change would make for a much nicer guest experience.

I checked almost every hotel/resort around Alona Beach for days. Nothing really seemed to match our expectations (modern facilities, pool, good service, quietness, location from beach) and budget (between 40-70 USD a night). We were really excited to find this resort because it met almost all of our expectations.

We stayed in the double deluxe room which is the cheapest room. The deluxe room has a king size bed, refrigerator (with freezer), flatscreen TV, wardrobe, aircon, kitchenette, (rice maker, kettle, cups, plates, utensils), modern bathroom with separated shower booth and detachable shower head. The drinks in the minibar are reasonably priced (30 pesos for water, 50 pesos for San Miguel beer). The room also features a nice balcony with a table and chairs. Our room was on the second floor and all rooms in the hotel face the pool. We were very happy with the quality of the room and price of this hotel.

One important thing to know is that the water is solar heated, so sometimes guests may not be able to take hot/warm showers at all times. Also there is no hairdryer in the room, so it might me a good idea to bring a 220 v dryer of your own.

Since the weather was cool in January, there weren't many guests. My husband and I enjoyed the pool all to ourselves. The pool is quite deep so it may not be ideal for young children. The pool bar runs happy hour from 3-9 daily. The female bartender working there was friendly and she makes strong drinks. Near the pool bar you can play badminton as well. The grounds are well-maintaned and inviting.

The resort is a good 12-15 min walk from Alona Beach, but it's really no big deal. You pass lots of restaurants (Hidden Dream, ChARTS, Biergarten), bars, and dive shops. It's near all the fun of Alona. It took us about 12 mins to walk to Giuseppe's.

I have given this resort a 4 instead of 5 because I think the service could be improved. The young uniformed girls working at the front desk weren't always professional. When we checked out around 8am, the uniformed girl at the front desk wasn't friendly and even tried to charge us for renting a motorbike (which we didn't use). When my husband (who isn't a native English speaker) couldn't understand exactly what she said about our taxi rental, she spoke to him like he was an idiot and rolled her eyes. The attitude was uncalled for considering that we were guests of this hotel and did nothing to warrant such bad manners. We liked this hotel but probably wouldn't return because this.

DO NOT BOOK ! Hotel made us sign a disclaimer that we would pay 2500pesos for stained sheets and given us dirty sheets to start with. The room is rundown and the hotel kept in bad condition. You also can not use towels to clean your feet or penalty wi be applied. Beach is 20min walk and not 5. Pictures are nothing as in reality. I attached them here for you to see

It’s ok to have a construction work at night but be mindful if the work to be done is noisy or not.

Some people need rest after a long tiring day. Please consider people who want a good sleep after a busy day.

I humbly asked you if it is possible the construction works will be done at day time but it seems that the hotel in charge don’t care.

Please consider.

Thank u!

We stayed at the hotel for 8 days, and the last 2 days my friend dated a girl from the staff when she was free. The owner who was a Danish very unfriendly person fired her for that after he promised us not to do that! They didn't clean the rooms!!

They didn't filled up the minibar!

My friend wanted to take out the girl for diner but the owner said that he won't let him!

They treat there staff like animals and like they are not worth anything!

Do the staff a favor, don't stay at this hotel the owner is a real idiot!

Location: you can't cut through the beach from the hotel so every time you need to go all the way from the main road which requires walking 15 minutes alongside with motorbikes, cars etc. in a not so illuminated road. So location is not ideal.

Rooms: spacious although with some nuisances: 1) The shower water not always being hot, especially at night and early morning it was just totally cold 2) The door lock was somehow loose and difficult to lock etc.

But most of all what is negative is the experience with the front desk staff. There is a girl who has a negative attitude in general. Unfortunately I encountered an issue with a double booking. I understand that according to the policies they had the right not to reimburse me for this accidental mistake. However you'd expect the staff would try to show some interest in the customer and try to help him solve the issue and deal with Agoda. While Agoda staff was superb in their customer relationship management, this woman at the front desk of the hotel was extremely CONFRONTATIONAL in her tone, unpleasant, and did not take a single step to help and plainly said in a quite arrogant way that according to policies they were entitled to the money and that's about it. She single-handledly manage to make a whole stay unpleasant through her attitude. I did not expect a refund, but at least some minimal customer relationship managemnent skills. She promised she'd call Agoda and did not even bother making a call, which I had to do using Skype myself...

My partner and I had the chance to stay in this hotel for 4 nights and it was comfortable. The room was quite spacious and clean. The toilet had a great shower. Our room had a beautiful balcony that oversaw the pool and it had a great view of the sunrise. The hotel is very calm and quiet. If you are the type of person that likes to sit by the pool and read a good book then this place is definitely for you. It had such a relaxing atmosphere it was hard not to fall asleep by the pool. Overall, excellent services at a very affordable price. Will definitely return one day.

We had a few days at the northland resort in February this year and had a great time, yes its a ten min walk to the beach , but so what its not exactly a marathon distance is it ? Tell you what this place is good for and thats a quiet and relaxing break, in the five days that we visited this hotel there was very little noise at all (great) there was nobody clowning around the pool (great) and no loud music at night (great). now, some may read this and think what i am describing is boring ? and thats fine by me, but if your the sort of person who likes to sit round the pool or on a hotel balcony and read a good book then trust me this place is for YOU, if your the sort of person who likes to annoy people who are trying to read a good book then this hotel is not for YOU. Like a few people have mentioned the reception staff are a little bit glum, but the rest of the staff were all very smiley and the breakfast was excellent for the philippines. Well done to the owner for keeping this place so nice and peaceful in the noisy commercialism of Panglao, because after all if you want noise then its only a ten min walk to find it !!. PS the little pizza place in the same road does some of the best pizza we have had in the phil. (sorry dont recall the name)

Excellent service, very quiet, very clean, with big & spacious rooms, & staff are very helpful. It is 5-7mins walk from the busy alona beach.
Jocelyn, the staff in the restaurant is very friendly & very efficient.
It is worth staying here & the price is reasonable too.
