DO NOT PLAN A STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. House staff is non responsive and the in-house reservation process does not coordinate with Expedia / hotels . com. Very disappointing to plan a trip from halfway around the world only to find out hotel staff is unable to accommodate you on holiday.

We stayed here for 12 nights and had the best time. Staff was very helpful in any given situation, both with tour arrangements and everything else we would need advice for or help to. Rooms are spacious and clean. Garden very nice and the hotel dog was the sweetest. An oasis in the middle of busy Area and 10 minute walk from Alona beach. A number of highly recommendable restaurants near by.

We stayed here for two weeks , during the daytime very quiet and ideal for relaxing. It is within a few minutes walk to the busy part of Alona Beach. The rooms are much better than its star rating would suggest, we were on the top floor overlooking the pool. Breakfast was good but a little limited on choice, overall though we thought we had done very well for price ,location etc. There is a large hotel being built nearby but we found no issues regarding noise etc. I would be happy to recommend, staff were friendly and the hotel & rooms were very well kept.

This is a great hotel! The staff are super helpful and friendly and cannot do enough for you. The trips they have on offer are also good value! Hotel is nice and quiet with a relaxing pool area. Bar Prices are good and the pool area has a really nice atmosphere and very pretty surroundings. Beach is a 10- 15 min walk realistically but don't let this put you off Only complaints would be that the breakfast is very limited! No buffet, No fruit just 5 set breakfasts to chose from, most of which are very similar and all based around eggs. I think this lets the hotel down compared to others of the same standard and what is available nowadays. The food is good but a big lack of selection. Also the rooms could do with cleaning more often (particularly sweeping more often). Regardless of this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend people to stay here (maybe without breakfast). People who complain there is no left need to get real- Its 2 flights of stairs to the top!! Oh yes and Coco the dog is the boss!!! We'd love to stay here again!

Hotel was clean and quiet. Good service, Not so good for people who have difficulty walking as a little distance from beach. Connecting road is a dirt track which get muddy when it rains. I would recommend this hotel for its service, cleanliness and cheerful and helpful staff. Good value.

We stayed as a group of people for 9 nights here. We had all originally booked to go to Boracay but rebooked to Panglao because of the closure in Boracay. We did not regret this at all. This hotel is a small, family owned hotel that really does it all to ensure the comfort of the guests. The rooms are great standard, the pool is nice and relaxing. Especially since it's a quite small hotel you can relax without hundreds of kids running around. The pool bar is great with a small selection of great food. It seems they have had a Mexican menu as well, but it's no longer there, but that's really fine because they keep a small selection of foods which ensures that its fresh ingredients and good quality meals. The only downside I could think of is that once you leave, you will end up missing the hotel dog Coco, who seems to get into the hearts of all the guests. Would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely go back.

Location was great! It was a 5 minute walk to the main street in Pangloa and a short walk to the beach. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the service was okay; we were welcomed with a wet towel and iced tea. The pool was clean and the garden was well maintained. I found that in comparison to the other hotels (we stayed at 4 different hotels) Alona Northland was one of the more luxury and high end stays in the area. The only downside was that the hotel restaurant did not open for dinner, so we had to go to the hotel next door to eat. Also, the staff were not as warm and helpful as I had experienced in other hotels. Another negative point to note was that there was barely any warm water in the shower - We had to have a quick cold shower.

Enjoyed our 4 nights here. Out of the way down a quiet street and about a 10 minute slow walk to Alona Beach. Rooms were large and even had a huge fridge to keep your food & drink cold. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning & the pool was a delight or an afternoon dip. Staff were friendly and helpful. enjoyed our stay here.

We were here for holiday with friends. We were total 6 of us and 3 rooms. Without notifying receptionist that we are actually traveling together(We arrived 3 different timing), they arranged the room for us at the same level and next to each other! Our rooms were located at 1st floor where very easy to access to swimming pool & pool bar. Room condition was good and clean. Swimming pool is big enough to play and quiet enough to take a nap. Overall we were very satisfied for two nights stay. Special thanks to the receptionist who assist us to book transportation to airport when we checked out. Even it was last minute request, she arranged for us patiently! Thank you so much for your help!! We will recommend this hotel to other friends and we will be back for sure. P.S. - We are fall in love with this lovely puppy 🐶

My partner and I had the chance to stay in this hotel for 4 nights and it was comfortable. The room was quite spacious and clean. The toilet had a great shower. Our room had a beautiful balcony that oversaw the pool and it had a great view of the sunrise. The hotel is very calm and quiet. If you are the type of person that likes to sit by the pool and read a good book then this place is definitely for you. It had such a relaxing atmosphere it was hard not to fall asleep by the pool. Overall, excellent services at a very affordable price. Will definitely return one day.
