My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in August. We had room Boris, a double air conditioned room on the second floor at the back of the property. We had a private balcony with bamboo lounge, perfect for chilling out at night or enjoying a coffee in the morning (if you don't mind the mosquitoes). It overlooks next doors overgrown garden so is quiet and peaceful. Inside is a small table, clothes rack and high power fan, safe for valuables. We had warm/hot water throughout although the shower pressure was a little weak personally. Tip: Take your own toiletries. Only one small bar of soap provided. What would have made the stay perfect is if we had a kettle in our room to make a cup of tea. Rooms were cleaned daily. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Place is…
Extremely friendly women working there who can also cook good crepes, noodles and mango shakes. Decent room made of wood, but fan rooms are stuffy. Often sell out so reserve. Great yard for my son to play in.
I spend 5 nights in a room with a fan. Lived the room, it was in a nice bamboo style and they made up and cleaned the room every day. The porch was also nice to hang out as wel as the common area with a view of the lovely garden. I rather would have had an aircon room but since I was there at Holy week it was all booked, with just a fan it was too damp for my taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful with tours, transport what ever you want. It just a 20 min walk from Alona beach, I liked the fact that they are not in the mids of the main tourist hub.
We stayed at chill out and alona for three nights. Like most visitors for diving. It's amazing diving here! Alona Beach is a crowded place but at this guesthouse it's relaxed. 10 minutes walking to the beach but situated perfectly. The staff is lovely and friendly and is helping you with everything. They also offer you free tricycle to town at night, the best! Thank you chill out!!
This place is a 20 minutes walk from the beach. The rooms are clean and a good size but cabin style which allows noise to easily be heard from outside or neighbours activities! There was some small construction going on when we were there. The air conditioners are the old type which are noisy. The ceilings are made of bamboo mat and at night there were insects dropping on me so i was itching all night. If you book through booking.com they will add 23% tax and service on to your room bill making a budget stay not so budget. There are many signs around the hotel and in the room saying what you can and cant do. This does make your stay feel a little "not chilled out" We only booked two nights and are glad we did not book longer. The staff are very polite and friendly. They have a…
