My stay was very uncomfortable. Your "Restaurant" Staff were very unprofessional and constantly annoying. One night while my company and I were on our way out to go swimming, one of the staff catcalled us and made sexual comments on our appearance. VERY DISTURBING. the next morning during breakfast, these staff were hitting on me and were obviously talking about us in their native language this continued on until our last day. I could not understand but all they did while we were finishing up our meals were freaking stare and murmur at us. I hope this doesn't happen to other guests. TRAIN YOUT STAFF HOW TO PROPERLY TREAT A GUEST.

Pros: quiet, nice pool, friendly staff, affordable rooms, 20min walk from Dumaluan Beach Cons: Wifi is quite weak inside the rooms, a bit far from Alona Beach and other restaurants Will definitely go back and stay here.

we stayed in the "native hut" it wasn't bad. the grounds are well maintained. The communal bathrooms are decent but no hot water. Wi-Fi was average. Beds were not extremely comfortable but sleep-on-able. we paid 900 (700 for room and 200 for pool access). next time I'd not pay the extra 200. beach isn't far if u rent a bike. also. rent a bike from tagbilaran or alona beach for 300-350 php per day rather than from hotels

Very nice peaceful setting. Rooms were very comfortable with good air con. Very friendly staff who can help arrange tours and transport. This hotel is a fair distance to the main area and beach. You need transport to get anywhere which is not very expensive and Is readily available. The swimming pool was a bonus after a busy hot humid day.

First of all I want to say i booked with agoda and that was a terrible experience. In the price you see the taxes are not included. I asked for a room with a large bed and breakfast included, I had none of them. The place looks nice at first but far from everything and if you order a tricycle or a taxi from the reception you will be overcharged. That becomes quickly a problem as the resort doesn't have anything to eat or drink but a light and expensive breakfast.

We stayed here at the beginning of our trip to the Philippines for 6 nights. The resort’s setting is peaceful, nice pool area and outside terrace to sit at, although it is quite cramped. For what you pay however, I think it’s pretty poor compared to what you get elsewhere in the Philippines. The shower is so old it just trickles out and the temperature control doesn’t really work, breakfast is just a no go (we tried it one day- not again), service as a whole was pretty poor, we were recommended a take-away restaurant one night because we’d had a busy day seeing the island, the food took over an hour to come and was cold when it did arrive. Why recommend somewhere if it’s that bad! Bikes were 600 pesos a day- no guest rates offered which most places offer. One annoying thing about the resort is the location which means you have to take a tricycle or rent a bike to get to Alona Beach to eat in the evening as most of the nicer restaurants are here. Overall we felt for how much you pay it’s just not worth it at all. I hate to leave a fairly negative review of anywhere especially as the staff here were friendly but as a whole we were quite disappointed with it.

Stayed 2 nights with my girlfriend +Super friendly staff -Overpriced. I know we arrived in peak season, but come on. 50 USD/night for this run down “resort” hit a nerve. - The pool has lot of mold around lights and tiles underwater. -Far away from everything. Walking to Dumaluan beach takes 15-20 min, has selection of restaurants though. If you want to go to to Alona beach you need to order a tricycle and pay 100PHP one way. Every time.. Time consuming and annoying

Myself and my partner have been travelling around south east Asia for the past couple of months now and only leave reviews when a hotel is either very very good or kinda bad where we feel like we need to warn other travellers. The rooms in this hotel are SO dated, and the shower and sink area do not look clean at all. (We have stayed in much more basic and small rooms, but they have been a lot cleaner so it’s been fine). The breakfast is just so bad. They got our whole order mixed up (which was so simple) and the toast was so stale and cold. The swimming pool area has no loungers, which isn’t particularly bad but why have a pool when nobody can lie around it? There’s no room to put a towel on the floor either without it being on hard concrete stones. All the rooms face onto the pool area in almost a big circle - so if you have loud neighbours like us, your in for bad sleep. We had a big family spread out amongst 3 rooms on separate sides of the pool, so in the morning at approximately 6am every day they would shout to one another across the pool area, and consequently wake us up (and probably everyone else too as there was only about 12 rooms in total). We ignored the noise on the first two days and got up, as we wanted to head our relatively early (ideally not as early as 6am though) and they had 4 children who were responsible for most of the screaming & shouting and we know what kids could be like. But on day 3 when we just wanted a bit longer in bed, I had to go out and tell them to be quiet - the pool isn’t even open until 7am so I felt like the hotel staff should have taken some responsibility for the volume of noise coming from the family as nobody could sleep through the racket they were making. I feel like if this had been 12 at night then the staff would have taken action - as two girls were in the pool at 11pm one night and they told them the pool was out of hours and to go to their room. We also had to request our safe key as they didn’t automatically give it to us first hand, and also had to ask the maids to make our room up despite putting the tag on the door to ask for it to be made. We have stayed in nice luxury hotels and hostels across our stay in Asia so do not expect top standards, but if the hotel can improve the things above then I would happily return here.

A quiet and peaceful little resort, not to mention affordable! My friend and I stayed for 2 nights here since we attended a wedding in the area. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Although the resort is not beachfront, it has an inviting pool! Not to worry because the Dumaluan beach is just minutes/tricycle away! Food was not remarkable and we had to wait 30 minutes before it was served. No restaurant in the resort/nearby but you can place orders through their partner and have food delivered for a fee.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Location is good, away from the busy life. Peaceful and relaxing. But it’s ruined by their poor service. First, we had our island tour and we were out for the whole day. At the time we get back to the resort, our room was completely arranged. We were shocked because its our first time to experience it. We never requested for a make up on our room. They say, they usually check the rooms if which rooms need make up. Wow. What if there are important things left on our rooms that will be lost, are they willing to be accountable? Second, during our check out, there has been a confusion on the bill and our deposit of 1000php was lost. How come? I presented the receipt and thankfully it was returned to us. Third, we rented our own motorbike at HEY JOE rentals (by the way, i highly recommend this, outstanding service and well-maintained bikes) and surprisingly the resort mistakenly gave our helmets to other guests. I tried to negotiate with them to make time on returning the helmets to HEY JOE but unfortunately, until now, its not returned yet. So please, settle this asap. The owners are desperately waiting. Make time. This is not their fault. Its yours. Thanks! 😞
