A great spot to watch the world go by right on the beach. I have been there for breakfast a number of times and it’s always been a good choice. Scrambled eggs and a latte coffee is usually my favourite

I stayed here 5 nights over Christmas as a solo traveller. The room was bigger and better than I expected with a partial sea view. The room was right above the restaurant/bar where they play live music so if you go to sleep before midnight, this isn’t a great spot for you - for me, was no problem. Plus....the band “Sacrafice” are amazing!!!! There was a communal balcony outside my door for smoking, the room was large with the basics you need, and staff were great for the most part. Just one night i got upset when i sat at the restaurant bar and the waitress told me i couldn’t sit there as i wasn’t having food...even though i was a guest at the hotel and had room service just before. When you travel solo, sometimes you prefer to eat in your room than sit alone at a restaurant. When she found out i was a guest she was very sorry but she should ask first before what she did. I sat at this bar every night and met people - it was very social for me. It has great live music, a chilled vibe (there’s no hardcore partying on the beach) and enjoyed the ambience. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The location is the best on the beach and it’s the best night spot on the beach. I would recommend and stay again. Thank you :)

We stayed here for 5 days. The hotel is nice, clean rooms and a nice little pool. Terrible wifi!! The hotel has no sunbeds on the beach, which would have been nice. The food is ok but the restaurants next door is better.

Good resort, clean, okay pool. Nicely located at the busy Alona Beach. Rooms are a bit on the back which is good given the noise level at the beach front. However, do not expect beach or ocean view from the rooms (except the one above the restaurant). We booked the room directly through the hotel with breakfast included. In this case you get a budget allocated and you then pick your breakfast a la carte from the menu. However, the budget allocated is a bit stingy and we ended up paying the difference every morning since nothing is included, not even water or coffee. Given that the resort is not cheap, this is a disappointment.

I’ve spent two nights in this really nice beachfront hotel. The hotel is located right in front of Alona beach and close to numerous restaurants and shops. The beach is nice and from there you can get trips to the nearby islands and lots of snorkeling! Rooms are very spacious and toiletries are included. The staff is very helpful and early breakfast is an option if needed but keep in mind you will get it the night before (I just put mine in the fridge having an early pick up). Super recommended!

The bar is nice though the drinks a bit on the pricey side for the area. Worth the extra for the absolutely superb live music though playing 70’s classics ! Highly recommend a visit. Right on the beach front.

This hotel was perfect for us in every way for a family visit. It's right on the beach, has a clean pool and the property and rooms are in flawless condition and beds are very comfortable. The staff and owner are delightful, smart and helpful. The food and beverages are great in the bar/restaurant on the beach. There was a little isolated construction with almost no noise and certainly no problems with it. This hotel has my highest possible recommendation . We plan to return.

I booked with Alona Vida Beach resort and there was a misleading link that took me to their Hill hotel. It's not on the beach like the pictures indicated. When I arrived I was disappointed with the location but then found old, dirty towels and an uncomfortable cheap mattress. When I addressed this misleading link and booking mishap with the desk staff, they were polite, but claimed that they could not do anything until the manager came in the next day. I then spoke to him the next day. Completely unprofessional. The desk staff was much more versed in customer service than him. He laughed at the circumstances as I explained what happened. He continued to laugh and say "it's not his problem" with a big grin on his face. But to mention, he was dressed in unprofessional clothes and had trucker style beard. He couldn't care less, just a very unprofessional experience.

Dear Guest It is with great sorrow that we read this negative feedback from you. It is understood that you are upset due to the booking mistake you made whereas you intended to book a room directly on the beach but instead choose a non-refundable option at our hill branch which is a 5-minutes' walk away. Nevertheless we always strive to render a high quality service to all of our usually satisfied guests. Fresh and tidy sheets & towels we do consider as standard. Our Alona Vida Beach Hill facility is only two years old. Thus, we offer modern and well equipped deluxe rooms as correctly shown on all booking platforms.

I wouldn't even give this a 1 star if there was a lesser choice... I'm no koripot but value for money: ZERO. I took my wife family there for her birthday, the food was mediocre nothing special for the price per head we could have all gone to a nice posh steak house in Makati. They didn't even have service water when eating main meals which is extremely normal in the Philippines. Plain rice was additional which is OK but again well over priced. Basically the prices are plus plus and at a rate that you would expect in a nice 5* hotel like Hennan NOT THIS 2* IF THAT ESTABLISHMENT! Enough said I think I got my review across

Dear Guest We are sad not to have pleased you. Rest assured that we are extremely keen to hear positive feedbacks from our valued customers. The prices at our Cocovida Restaurant as well as for accomodation reflect the median price range of all the establishments in the Alona Beach region.
