It’s our second stay here in Alona Austria. And as usual it’s very peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are very clean, well maintained, and the Owner & Staffs are very friendly.
The Resort is small but has everything around what you need. 5 minutes walking to the white beach, good Restaurants, Bbq stands, Jollibee, McDonals and of course local shops.

The best part was, we were able to jump in the pool directly from our room 😃

Thanks Manni for the amazing stay.

We stayed at Casa Manni's twice and it was a great experience! The place is cosy, clean and beautiful. The hosts are very thoughtful and hospitable! The guesthouse is in the centre of Alona and has a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. Strongly recommend!!! :)

This place is best at alona!

Pros:
1.) Quiet and Relaxing place! nobody was partying inside the vicinity! Most of the time me and my wife were only at the pool!

2.) Cheaper grocery items at the area! Since they are a “bit” far away from alona beach. Grocery item are cheaper here. Example: 1.5L of bottled water located at alona beach is 50.00 pesos. In this location it’s only 35.00 pesos.

3.) Better restaurants at the area! High rating restaurants are nearby the area!

4.) Street foods during evenings just right outside the hotel!

5.) Strong airconditioner, strong wifi!

6.) Security at night time!

7.) Good job on cleaning! they change towels everyday!

Slightly cons:

1.) No more electric stoves, can’t use the bbq area anymore :( The old picture here in Tripadvisor that someone was bbqueing is only a history! You can’t use their bbq area anymore! And no more electric stoves too! But they have microwave and fridge and some kitchen tools.

This is a brilliant place to stay.
The room was well built, the bathroom and kitchenette were fantastic. Stayed cool with minimal aircon and kept the mosquitoes out.

However upon extending for a third night i consulted the owner to tell him my room mate was leaving and another friend would be joining me in their place. As this is a two person room and i introduced him to the gentleman that would be staying in the presence of the person departing this seemed a no brainer.

Upon my traveling companion arriving I introduced him to the owner. He took issue with the change of room mate and disallowed my friend to stay. Leaving me to pay for a two person room on my own. So instead of splitting the bill with me, my traveling companion had to pay for a room elsewhere, which I'm sure any traveler can imagine what that does to anyone's travel budget. Not to mention the emotional side of it.

Whilst i enjoyed the room and facilities this place has to offer, an encounter like that with an owner can leave a very poor impression of the business and a dark shadow over an otherwise very plesant trip.

From my position i paid for a two person room and it's no one's business who the second guest is so long as it's only two per room. I was up front and transparent about who was staying.
I do not understand the objection and wonder what the motivation behind it was.

Whilst this is a great place to stay, customer service and lack of fair trade in this experience outweighed the pros and unfortunately I will be looking elsewhere when i stay here next. And this is a place i frequently visit.

Just spent a week at Casa Manni and it was the best . Only a few minutes walk to the beach . It is off the main road so you don't hear all the noise , A great pool and garden area but more importantly a great host and his staff . Secure at night with a guard at the gate .

This was the best place in Panglao. It’s right across the street from the beach and has a very relaxed and quiet garden vibe to it. The owners, Manfred and his wife are so nice and accommodating. They really made us feel at home and welcomed.

There’s a security guard posted at the gate all night so the place feels safe and secure.

Pool and garden grounds are awesome. Very clean rooms and nice places to hang out. The rooms have a mini bar with affordable coffee, soda, beer and ramen noodles.

We stayed at the Henann the night before and paid 3x as much money but did not enjoy it as much as Casa Manni’s place. If you stay in Alona Beach, this is the place to be! Trust me!!

The place is owned by and/or run by a cheerful guy named Manny. Nice 1 bedroom super clean apartment. If it were for the apartment alone, I would recommend it but:

Has a beautiful pool, but their German Shepard is kept next to it, and when you use the pool, the dog barks relentlessly. If you go to the shallow end, it smells like the cage has never been cleaned, and the smell of dog poo (like a farm) permeates the air. So, basically, this renders the pool useless.
There is non stop barking by this dog, and the neighbor dogs, so you get to hear barking at all times of the day, starting early morning..
I don't think it's right when your do not disturb sign is up, but they go in the room anyway to clean or whatever.
Wish I could say better things, since it's quite a nice place other than that. So if dog barking and smell of dog poo don't bother you, you should go there. Just don't leave your panties out if it embarrasses you that other people may see them even if you don't want them to.

We spent two nights in Manni's place. We were absolutely satisfied with his kindness and the accommodation. The place is amazing, own swimming pool, high speed wifi, air con, own kitchen where you can make your breakfast, night guard, fridge, everything what you need to enjoy your holiday.
You can also rent a nice scooter here, to explore the island by yourself.
Highly recommended to stay here, Manfred and his wife are gorgeous hosts, we'll definitely stay here again when we are at Alona beach.

I have stayed at the cassa manni 3 times and each time I was very happy with the property, great service, great rooms the staff and management cant do enough for you. this is not a hotel but individual bungalows that is situated in the heart of alona beach. close to all amenities but set back enough to be quiet and save place to stay
I would recommend this place and I look forward to my next stay there.

We stayed as a couple for about 2 and a half weeks. We had the room right in front of the pool and loved it. Everything clean and well maintained, we had an option of using aircon or fan. Little kitchen came in really handy! They even have a BBQ on the other side of the pool which we used 3 times during our stay! The host is very helpful person and the territory is just so relaxing and beautiful! If we come back to Panglao this will be our first and only choice!
